Late Eknath Ranade is role model for entire country: Mohanji Bhagwat

Nagpur. “Late Eknath Ranade with sheer dint of his industriousness, determination, courage, intellect, strength and all inclusive attitude became the best role model for the countrymen to emulate and follow”, said Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat.

The RSS Chief was delivering Eknath Ranade Birth Centenary Memorial lecture organised by New English High School Association at Nagpur on December 30 on the topic “Late Eknathji Ranade – Man and Mission”. RSS Sarkaryawah Suresh (Bhayyaji) Joshi, Association President Dr. A W Vyavahare and Vivekananda Kendra Regional Coordinatior Vishwas Lapalkar shared the dais.

Late Eknath Ranade, who was a student of New English High School, was the founder of Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari and Vivekananda Kendra. The lecture was thus organised by the New Enghish High School Association as a tribute to this past student.

Dr. Bhagwat said that these qualities in late Eknath Ranade’s personality were further sharpened and honed properly under the guidance of RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and his immediate successor late M S Golwalkar (Sri Guruji). Emulating his example and following them in our life would be the best tribute to him, the RSS Chief said.

Sharing his views with the large audience that gathered at the open ground of New English High School in Congress Nagar while Nagpur shivered under the impat of 5 degree celcius temperature on the penultimate day of the year that just passed, Dr. Bhagwat narrated a number of incidents from the life of late Ranade. Through such experiences he learnt his lessons for life and drew inspiration to build his personality and positive attitude and thinking, he said.

These qualities imbibed by him were put at test during the completion of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari and later when he started the order of Life Workers of Vivekananda Kendra, the RSS Chief explained.

Unfolding the history of Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the efforts the late Eknath Ranade took to accomplish this very difficult task, the RSS Chief said that Eknath Ranade managed to convince leaders of all the political parties including the then Union Minister Humayun Kabir and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Bhaktvatsalam who had shown strong opposition to such a memorial of Swami Vivekananda in the southern sea.

Ameliorating the condition of the people standing at the end of the social ladder was the core of thoughts and actions of Swami Vivekananda and Ekanth Ranade. This same thought is practiced by RSS on a wider canvass, he said.

Ekanth Ranade conceived, and planned construction of rock memorial and completed it with full determination. The initiation of the Life Worker Order to propagate the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda was the next logical step of his mission and today we find hundreds of such dedicated youth working in the remote areas of the country serving the poor, the neglected and the downtrodden taking them to be their Gods.

Dr. Bhagwat dwelt at length on various aspects of Eknath Ranade’s life as a student at Hislop College, as a Swayamsevak, as a Pracarak and as a Sarkarywah of RSS till he was entrusted with the responsibility of Rock Memorial in 1962 to highlight the best of his qualities and principles of life.

Strong resolve, working with dedication and determination accompanied with hard work, bravery, and systematic bent of mind he was able to translate his dreams in reality. Having full faith in serving those who are in need, helping them to become self-reliant, grooming them to serve others and dominate the society with such dedicated persons was the dream Ekanth Ranade cherished in his heart and worked relentlessly for its realization.

We all have a responsibility to understand his thoughts and work with the same zeal. This is the best way to pay tributes to this great soul, Dr. Bhagwat said.

Earlier Dr. Vyavahare introduced the guests and honoured them with bouquet and replica of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The proceedings were compared by Rucha Ansighkar while Assistant HM Mrs. Aarti Khandekar proposed vote of thanks. Prior to his lecture Dr. Bahgwat released five volumes of thoughts of Eknath Ranade published by Vivekananda Kendra. Pankaj Shelare, a student of the school, delivered the short lecture on Swami Vivekananda.

Unfortunate that Ambedkar’s theories, thesis not given prominence, says RSS

New Delhi. RSS ruled that despite being a prominent economist, BR Ambedkar’s theories and thesis are not given much prominence and it is “unfortunate” that research is not done over them by universities in the country on Dec. 30.

Terming Ambedkar as a “great” labour leader, Sah sarkaryavah of RSS Dr. Krishna Gopal said that many of the rules in various labour laws apart from the concept of tripartite talks were brought by him which is prevalent even today.

“He was a prominent economist but it is unfortunate that none of the universities in the country do any good research on him… not even on his economic theories,” Krishna Gopalji said while delivering sixth memorial lecture on “Dr Ambedkar: Multidimentional Personality and Narrative at Indian Institute of Public Administration.”

Krishna Gopalji claimed that despite graduating in economics from prestigious Columbia University and London School of Economics and releasing important papers on ‘Small holdings in India and their remedies’, Ambedkar’s researches and papers were not even properly published.

“Small holdings in India and their remedies was a big paper of Ambedkar…how agriculture land is getting smaller. Economic Development of this country is not possible through small holdings…He said this 100 years ago. He urged for industrialisation at the earliest as there is much pressure on agriculture. “Even after 100 years, the research on his theories and thesis that should have happened, its possibility, it seems is bleak,” he said.

Noting that Ambedkar had three ‘gurus’ in his life – Buddha, Kabir and Mahatma Phule, Krishna Gopalji said that without understanding the three of them, understanding Ambedkar would be incomplete.

The Sarkaryavah (Joint Gen. Sec.) said that the Communists had labeled him as “enemy of labourers” but Ambedkar had spoken very strongly about them and had said during one of the speeches that they were a “misguided body of men”.

“Now the communist put a picture of Ambedkar and say that he was leading light of class struggle, how can we believe this? He was labour minister before Independence for five years. The big labour unions today…they too know little about this,” Krishna Gopalji said.

He said that Ambedkar was the first person to have brought many crucial labour laws in the country including Minimum Wages Factories Act, Providend Fund, subsidised food, medical aid to factory workers and maternity leave for women.

On the issue of Article 370, he  said that Ambedkar, who was then law minister, was opposed to the idea of giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir and he had told Shiekh Abdullah that it would be a “treacherous” thing to allow something like this to happen.

“When China attacked Bharat, Ambedkar had questioned the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on his actions. He had said that Nehru is living in the world of dreams and China has come to our door and we cannot protect ourselves. He had a certain view on the foreign policy,” Krishna Gopalji said.

He said that Ambedkar was opposed to dividing states on the basis of language. Ambedkar had said that states should be formed on the basis of administration while also advocated for Hindi as the national language.

RSS Supports strong law against conversion: Pradip Joshi

Namsai.The unique social mosaic of our ancient nation-state Bharat is co-existential, not competitive. The recent tension in our society is the by-product of conversion by means of allurements which is a dangerous trend to disbalance the inherent socio-cultural fabric which should be stopped at any cost. Those who are against forcible conversion should come forward to enact a strong law in the Parliament against religious conversion without politicising the matter on which lies the basic social character of our motherland Bharat, thus spoke Shri Pradip Joshi, RSS Prant Pracharak of Arunachal Pradesh here at the Chownok Auditorium ground.

Addressing a gathering of dignitaries, public leaders and locals in the concluding function of the seven day Initial Training Camp (ITC) , Shri Pradip Joshi stressed on the cultural heritage of our ancient nation drawing parallel to what Dr. Annie Besant had said that without Hinduism Bharat will lose its basic identity. Bharat is a role model of universal love, peace and non-violence essentially because the majority living here is Hindu.

According to Shri Josh, Hinduism never teaches violence and its track record says that Hindusthan has never attacked any foreign nation in the pages of history of international relations. He stressed that this unique preservation of our socio-religious identity will enhance world peace and universal tolerance. Nevertheless, Joshi adds that our countrymen should realise the true message of India to the world, that is, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, and act as a catalyst to beget this dream.

While criticising the recent massacre in Assam where 81 innocents got killed and the brutal shooting of 141 school children and staff in Peshawar, Shri Pradip Joshi pointed out the wrong preaching of religions will definitely lead our only earth to catastrophe and self-destruction. He asked the audience to spread the message of truth, love and spirituality of Shrimad Bhagawat Geeta bestowed by the Lord Shri Krishna 5051 years ago to make our society a better place to live in. Seeing the great contribution of this eternal epic, Shri Joshi highlighted Shrimad Bhagawat Geeta should be affirmed as our national treasure. The youth of today must understand these never-faded songs of truth.

The other speaker of the day Ven Aga Dhamma, the spiritual head of the Buddhist monastic order of Namsai said that real happiness and peace of our society lies in national unity which must be enhanced at any cost. Drawing parallel between the Buddhist Monastery “Sangha” and “Sangh” that is RSS, both of which work for the walfare of our society. Ven Aga Dhamma said both the missions should proceed forward for betterment.

जम्मू कश्मीर के 25 लाख विस्थापितों के मानवाधिकारों की बहाली की मांग

नई दिल्ली. जम्मू कश्मीर पीपल्स फोरम के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग के महासचिव श्री राजेश किशोर के साथ 22 दिसंबर को मुलाकात करके मांग की कि केंद्र सरकार और नई गठित होने वाली जम्मू कश्मीर राज्य सरकार को राज्य के उन विस्थापितों की समस्याओं के हल पर गंभीरता से ध्यान दे, जिनके मूलभूत मानवाधिकारों का पिछले 67 साल से हनन किया जा रहा है. प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने मानवाधिकार आयोग से अपील की कि वह देश भर में विस्थापितों के बारे में एक राष्ट्रीय नीति बनाने और जम्मू कश्मीर के विस्थापितों के लिये एकमुश्त राहत पैकेज जारी करने के लिये केंद्र सरकार को निर्देश जारी करे.

फोरम के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक श्री महेंद्र मेहता के नेतृत्व में इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने जम्मू कश्मीर में मानवाधिकारों के हनन के जिन मामलों को प्रस्तुत किया, उनमें पाकिस्तान अधिकृत जम्मू कश्मीर (पीओजेके) से 1947 में विस्थापन के बाद राज्य के भीतर और बाहर बसे शरणार्थी; कश्मीर घाटी में आतंकवादी हिंसा के कारण विस्थापित हुए कश्मीरी हिंदू और सिख शरणार्थी; 1947 में पश्चिमी पाकिस्तान से आकर जम्मू में बसे शरणार्थी और; सीमा पर पाकिस्तानी बमबारी तथा आतंकवादी हिंसा के कारण अपने घर छोड़कर राज्य के दूसरे हिस्सों में बसे शरणार्थी शामिल हैं. इस सभी समाजों की कुल संख्या इस समय लगभग 25 लाख है.

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने मानवाधिकार आयोग के सामने इस बात पर गहरा दुख और चिंता व्यक्त की कि कश्मीर घाटी के बहुमत का दुरूपयोग करते हुए राज्य सरकार के कश्मीरी नेतृत्व ने इन पीडि़त को राहत देने या उनकी समस्यों को हल कराने में सहयोग देने के बजाये पिछले 67 साल में केवल कानूनी अड़ंगे लगाकर इसमें रोड़े अटकाने का काम किया है.

पीड़ितों में पीओजेके से विस्थापित ऐसे लगभग 10 लाख शरणार्थी हैं, जिन्हें 1947 के बाद कश्मीर सरकार की सांप्रदायिक और जनविरोधी नीतियों के कारण राज्य से बाहर भागने पर मजबूर होना पड़ा. तब से इस समाज की तीन पीढि़यां जम्मू कश्मीर में अपने अधिकारों के लिए संघर्ष करती आ रही हैं. लेकिन कश्मीर घाटी के नेतृत्व ने तरह-तरह के कानूनी और राजनीतिक अड़ंगे लगाकर ना तो इन लोगों को वापस आकर अपने राज्य में बसने का अधिकार दिया और ना उन्हें राज्य की चुनाव राजनीति की भागीदारी करने दी. इनके अलावा पश्चिमी पाकिस्तान से आए शरणार्थियों को पिछली तीन पीढि़यों से राज्य की नागरिकता से वंचित रखा जा रहा है. इनमें से लगभग डेढ़ लाख वोटरों को लोकसभा के चुनावों में वोट देने का अधिकार तो है लेकिन उन्हें इस बार भी विधानसभा चुनावों में वोट देने का अधिकार नहीं दिया गया.

जम्मू कश्मीर के इन शरणार्थी समाजों की ओर से जो मांगें आयोग के सामने रखी गयीं उनमें राज्य के पीओजेके शरणार्थियों का एक राष्ट्रीय रजिस्टर बनाने और इन पीड़ित समाजों के अधिकारों और समस्याओं पर ध्यान देने के लिये एक विशेष रिलीफ कमिश्नर नियुक्त करने की मांग भी शामिल है. इसके अलावा फोरम ने मानवाधिकार आयोग से अपील की है कि इन पीड़ित समाजों के सभी सदस्यों को अपने पैतृक जम्मू कश्मीर राज्य में बसने, वहां की नागरिकता पाने, शिक्षा और नौकरी पाने, सम्मान और सुरक्षा के साथ वहां रहने और केंद्र सरकार की सभी कल्याण योजनाओं का लाभ उठाने के साथ-साथ भारतीय संविधान में दिए गये सभी मानवाधिकारों की सुरक्षा पाने का भी अधिकार भी बहाल किया जाना चाहिये.

स्वार्थहीन सेवा का होता है सम्मान : भैया जी जोशी

हरिद्वार (विसंके). सेवा के लिये संवेदनशील अन्तःकरण की आवश्यकता होती है. ईसाइयों की सेवा का हम सम्मान करते हैं. लेकिन उनकी सेवा स्वार्थहीन हो तभी उसका सही सम्मान किया जा सकता है. भारत के पूर्वज सर्वे भवंतु सुखिनः के सिद्धान्त पर चलते रहे और इसका पूरी दुनिया में प्रचार किया. आज हमें अपने पूर्वजों के दिखाये मार्ग पर चलकर दुनिया को राह दिखानी है और भारत को विश्वगुरू बनाने के अपने संकल्प को दृढ़ करना है.

यह कहना है राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरकार्यवाह श्री सुरेश (भय्या जी) जोशी का. वे 21 दिसंबर को यहां कुष्ठ रोगियों एवं उनके बच्चों को समर्पित अध्यात्म प्रेरित स्वैच्छिक सेवा संस्थान ‘दिव्य प्रेम सेवा मिशन’ के चिल्ला बैराज स्थित वंदेमातरम् कुंज में आयोजित वार्षिक समारोह को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि संबोधित कर रहे थे.

भय्याजी ने कहा कि अपने आस-पास का परिवेश वेदना निर्माण करने वाला दिखाई देता है, अनाचार के मार्ग पर लोग चलते दिखाई देते हैं, हमें ऐसे भारत का निर्माण करना है जो इन सभी कारणों का निराकरण कर सके. उन्होंने कहा कि हिमालय की इन पहाड़ियों में लोग मोक्ष प्राप्त करने आते हैं, लेकिन आशीष जी ने मोक्ष के मार्ग को छोड़कर अपने बन्धुओं की पीड़ा को समझा और इस सेवा कार्य में लगे. भारत का वैभव गौरव कैसे रहेगा इसकी चिन्ता करने की जरूरत है. हमारे पूर्वजों ने सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः का उद्घोष किया और अतिथि को भगवान के स्वरूप में देखा उन्होंने कहा कि इसाईइ की सेवा का हम सम्मान करते हैं लेकिन वे स्वार्थहीन सेवा करें. सेवा के लिये संवेदनशील, अन्तःकरण की आवश्यकता होती है.

समारोह की अध्यक्षता करते हुए एमडीएच मसाले के प्रबन्ध निदेशक महाशय धर्मपाल ने बताया कि पैसा मैं अपने लिये नहीं कमाता बल्कि समाज के अच्छे कार्यो को सफल बनाने के लिये कमाता हूं. उन्होंने कहा कि  मेरे जैसा बनना चाहते हो तो मेरी बातों पर अमल करो. हमें यहां आकर बहुत खुशी होती है तथा इन बच्चों को देखकर मन प्रसन्न होता है. योगगुरू स्वामी रामदेव ने कहा कि सृष्टि ने हमारा निर्माण कर दिया, अब हमें सोचना है कि देश के लिये हम क्या कर सकते हैं ? हमारे अन्दर विवेकानन्द दिखाई दे, गौतम और पतंजलि दिखाई दें -ऐसे जीवन का निर्माण करना चाहिये. यहां जो भी आये हैं सभी कामनाओं से मुक्त होकर जायें और एक बच्चे के पालन पोषण का संकल्प लेकर अपने कर्तव्य का निर्वाह करें. उन्होंने कहा कि सेवा, साधना ही स्थायी संपत्ति है जो अनेक जन्मों तक आपके साथ रहेगी .

इस अवसर पर पतंजलि योगपीठ के महामंत्री आचार्य बालकृष्ण ने कहा कि दिव्य प्रेम सेवा मिशन के सेवा कार्य का शब्दों में वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता. उन्होंने कहा कि वे आजीवन मिशन के सेवा कार्यों के लिये समर्पित रहेंगे. उन्होंने कहा की राज्याश्रय में रहने वाली संस्थाओं का अस्तित्व शीघ्र समाप्त हो जाता है, लेकिन समाज के सहयोग से संचालित संस्थायें निरन्तर चलती रहती हैं. कार्यक्रम को केन्द्रीय कैबिनेट मंत्री श्री संतोष गंगवार, पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री सतपाल महाराज, प्रभात प्रकाशन के प्रभात कुमार, पूर्व मंत्री शिवप्रताप शुक्ल, उद्योगपति चन्द्रकुमार सोमानी ने भी सम्बोधित किया.

कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ हुआ. सम्मेलन में संस्था की विभिन्न कार्ययोजनाओं पर विचार किया गया. संचालन समिति की बैठक में स्वच्छ भारत, विदेश पर्यटन, पर्यावरण, मिशन का आर्थिक प्रबन्धन, एवं अर्ध कुम्भ हरिद्वार सहित आठ प्रस्ताव पारित किये गये.

सेवा मिशन द्वारा चलाये जा रहे हरित भारत अभियान के अन्तर्गत संस्था सदस्यों एवं सहयोगियों द्वारा 11 हजार पौधों का रोपण किया गया. इस अवसर पर कुम्भ 2010 में मिशन द्वारा 12 दिन तक अलग-अलग विषय पर व्याख्यान माला ‘कुम्भ मंथन’ में व्यक्त विचारों का संग्रह संजय चतुर्वेदी द्वारा संपादित ‘कुम्भ आस्था का प्रतीक’ नामक पुस्तक का विमोचन किया गया.

दिव्य प्रेम सेवा मिशन के अध्यक्ष आशीष गौतम एवं संयोजक संजय चतुर्वेदी ने समारोह में आये अतिथियों को मिशन का प्रतीक चिन्ह एवं गंगाजली देकर सम्मानित किया.

परम पूज्य सरसंघचालक तीन दिन के दिल्ली प्रवास पर

नई दिल्ली. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के परम पूज्य सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन राव भागवत आगामी 25 से 27 दिसंबर तक दिल्ली में प्रवास करेंगे. छतरपुर स्थित आध्यात्म साधना केन्द्र में तीनों दिन वे संघ की सांगठनिक गतिविधियों को दिशा व गति देने के लिये वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कई बैठक लेंगे और उन्हें मार्गदर्शन देंगे.

राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ, दिल्ली के प्रांत प्रचार प्रमुख श्री राजीव तुली ने 23 दिसंबर को यहां जारी एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में यह जानकारी दी. विज्ञप्ति में बताया गया है कि संघ के सरसंघचालक क्षेत्र के अनुसार प्रवास करते हैं. उनके इस प्रवास के दौरान उत्तर क्षेत्र के वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ताओं को मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त होगा, जिसमें दिल्ली के अलावा पंजाब, जम्मू-कश्मीर, हरियाणा और हिमाचल प्रदेश शामिल हैं.

25 दिसंबर को वे संघ के विविध क्षेत्रों के संगठनों का कार्य देख रहे प्रांत और क्षेत्र स्तर के प्रचारकों की बैठक को संबोधित करेंगे. इन संगठनों में विश्व हिन्दू परिषद, अ. भा. विद्यार्थी परिषद, सेवा भारती और भारतीय जनता पार्टी जैसे संगठन सम्मिलित हैं.

अगले दो दिन परम पूज्य सरसंघचालक शाखा क्षेत्र में कार्य करने वाले वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ बैठक करेंगे.

करनाल में सेवा भारती के प्रांत कार्यालय का उद्घाटन

श्री कोठारी जी रविवार, 21 दिसंबर को करनाल में अर्जुन गेट स्थित अभिमन्यु व्यायामशाला में सेवा भारती के नवनिर्मित प्रांत कार्यालय के उद्घाटन अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित कर रहे थे.

उन्होंने कहा कि आज देश में विकास तो है परन्तु दूसरी तरफ देश में झुग्गी-झोपड़ी विकास के नाम पर प्रश्न चिन्ह भी लगा रही है. हमारे देश में सामाजिक सद्भावना की कमी है. स्पर्श व अस्पर्श की भावनायें गलत है. उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों की सामाजिक मानवता मजबूत होनी चाहिये, तभी गरीब व्यक्ति को समाज की मूलधारा में लाया जा सकेगा. इस अवसर पर सेवा भारती के अखिल भारतीय कोषाध्यक्ष लक्षमण जी माल्या ने सेवा भारती के बारे में जानकारी दी और कहा कि सेवाभारती देश में जरूरतमंद परिवार के लोगों को किसी न किसी रूप में सेवा करने तथा उन्हें संस्कारों से जोड़ने का काम कर रही है.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने कहा कि हमारा दायित्व समाज के अंत में खड़े हुए व्यक्ति को आगे बढ़ाना है. यह कार्य समाज में सामाजिक समरसता व समानता लाकर ही पूरा किया जा सकता है. समाज के हर वर्ग को चाहिये कि समुचित विकास में सरकार का सहयोग दें. उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सेवा का उद्देश्य वहां पर दीप जलाना है, जहां पर अभी भी अन्धेरा है. इसके लिये समाज के सभी वर्गों को बिना किसी भेदभाव के आगे आने की जरूरत है. हमारा समाज कई वर्गो में बंटा है,यह सभी वर्ग अपनी व्यवस्था अपने आप चलाते हैं. कुछ वर्ग ऐसे शब्दों का प्रयोग करते हैं, जिनसे हृदय को ठेस पहुंचती है. समाज में किसी व्यक्ति को पिछड़ा, दलित, अति दलित ,कमजोर व गरीब कहें तो काफी रूढ़ लगता है. जबकि ऐसा शब्द व्यक्ति के सम्मान को भी ठेस पहुंचाता है. हमारा मकसद केवल इतना होना चाहिये कि समाज का कोई व्यक्ति शिक्षा, विकास, स्वास्थ्य, संस्कार आदि से यदि पिछड़ जाता है तो हमें सेवाभाव से उस व्यक्ति को समाज की मूलधारा में जोडऩा चाहिये,ना कि ऐसे व्यक्ति को वर्गों में बांटना चाहिये.

उन्होंने कहा कि मनुष्य को पूरे विश्व को अपना परिवार मानना चाहिये और जहां वह रह रहा है, उसका दायित्व है कि वह अपने आस-पास रह रहे परिवारों की सेवा करे. यह एक साइफन का रूप है. सरकार की समाज से अलग भूमिका होती है. व्यक्ति की छ: आवश्यकतायें हैं जिनमें रोटी, कपड़ा, मकान, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, जिन्हें सरकार दे सकती है,परन्तु छठी चीज सम्मान को शायद सरकार न दे सके, उसे सामाजिक संगठन बखूबी दे सकते है. जब तक मनुष्य स्वयं अपने पैरों पर खड़ा नहीं होगा तब तक उसे सम्मान नहीं मिल सकता. जरूरत की सभी चीजें आपसी सहयोग व सरकार से मिल सकती है, इन्हें प्राप्त करने के लिये हाथ फैलाने की जरूरत है, परन्तु कभी भी समाज में हाथ फैलाकर सुविधा लेने से सम्मान नहीं मिलता. मुख्यमंत्री ने सेवा भारती संगठन को करनाल विकास निधि फंड से 5 लाख रुपये की राशि देने की घोषणा की.

सांसद अश्विनी चौपड़ा ने कहा कि समाज में अभिन्नता व जातिवाद समाज में बिखराव पादा करता है. ऐसे लोग जो अपनी रोजी-रोटी का इंतजाम नहीं कर सकते, सेवा भारती उनके लिये पूरे देश में सहयोग कर रही है ताकि समाज के वंचितों को सेवाभाव से उपर उठाया जाये. उन्होंने कहा कि स्वयं उनके द्वारा भी चौपाल व वरिष्ठ नागरिक केसरी कल्ब एनजीओ के माध्यम से समाज के जरूरतमंद लोगों की सेवा की जा रही है. उन्होंने भी सांसद निधि कोष से 5 लाख रुपये की राशि सेवाभारती संगठन को देने की घोषणा की.

इस अवसर पर सेवाभारती के प्रदेश महामंत्री श्री नरेश कुमार ने बताया कि देश में सेवा भारती नर सेवा, नारायण सेवा का ध्येय लेकर काम कर रही है. देश में सेवाभारती के माध्यम से बाल संस्कार केन्द्र,बाल विद्यालय, टयूशन सेन्टर, सिलाई कढ़ाई, रूप सज्जा केन्द्र, कम्प्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र व भजन मंडलियों के माध्यम से जन-जागरण किया जाता है. उन्होंने बताया कि इस समय हरियाणा में 362 सेवा प्रकल्प

हैं, जिनमें शिक्षा के 144, स्वास्थ्य के 38, रोजगार परक 119 तथा सामाजिक समरसता के 61 प्रकल्प चल रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि सेवाभारती का उद्देश्य गरीब, वंचित परिवारों को सहयोग करके समाज की मूलधारा में जोडऩा है.

श्री गुणवंत जी कोठारी, मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल जी एवं अन्य ने कार्यक्रम से पहले सेवाभारती के नवनिर्मित भवन का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया. इसके उपरांत मुख्यमंत्री ने दीप प्रज्जवलित करके कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया. कार्यक्रम में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, देशभक्ति के गीत, नाटक भी प्रस्तुत किये गये. सेवाभारती के अध्यक्ष डॉ. बुद्ध सिंह ने आगत सभी अतिथियों का धन्यवाद किया. मंच का संचालन सेवाभारती के प्रदेश के प्रचार प्रमुख ओम प्रकाश अत्रेजा ने किया.

इस अवसर पर सेवा भारती के अखिल भारतीय संगठन मंत्री सुंदर लक्ष्मण जी, अ. भा. महामंत्री श्री ऋषिपाल डडवाल जी, सह सचिव रेनू पाठक, पूर्व केन्द्रीय राज्य मंत्री आई डी स्वामी, विधायक हरविन्द्र कल्याण, विधायक भगवान दास कबीरपंथी, मेयर रेनू बाला गुप्ता,बृज गुप्ता,पूर्व विधायक रमेश कश्यप, शशिपाल मेहता, डिप्टी मेयर कृष्ण गर्ग, जगदेव पाढा, जगमोहन आनंद, चंद्रप्रकाश कथूरिया, आदि व प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के अलावा काफी संख्या में समाज सेवी उपस्थित थे.

विजय दिवस की स्मृति में संघ द्वारा ‘दण्ड प्रहार यज्ञ’ का आयोजन

लोनी (गाजियाबाद). राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ प्रत्येक वरष 16 दिसम्बर विजय दिवस की स्मृति में देशभर में शाखाओ पर दण्ड प्रहार यज्ञ का आयोजन करता है. इस वर्ष मेरठ प्रान्त के 15014 स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लेकर 43,57,647 दण्ड प्रहार लगाये. इस प्रतियोगिता में बाल, तरुण तथा प्रौढ़ सभी आयु के स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लिया.

मेरठ प्रान्त के शारीरिक प्रमुख श्री शिवकुमार ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मेरठ प्रान्त के 24 जिलों में 1026 शाखाओं पर एक ही दिन में यह कार्यक्रम किया गया जिसमें 765 स्वयंसेवक ऐसे भी थे जिन्होंने 1000 से अधिक दण्ड प्रहार लगाये. सबसे अधिक प्रहार लगाने वाली शाखाओं में 1,61,000 प्रहार लगाकर माधव कुंज शाखा (मेरठ) प्रथम स्थान पर रही. 10,18,121 दण्ड प्रहार लगाकर मेरठ महानगर ने प्रान्त के सभी जिलों में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया.
