Bhubaneswar,18/2-Expressing deep resentment over the observance of Afzal Guru’s death anniversary as martyr’s day by some students of the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi recently, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) here has demanded stringent action against the anti-national students.
Staging a mass demonstration in front of the Utkal University main gate here on Wednesday, activists of the ABVP city branch said such Left wing student unions carrying out anti-national activities should be banned and the students should be punished like Afzal Guru.
ABVP city coordinator Prabhudatta Samal said such incident can be dangerous for the nation in coming days. He called upon the student community to be united to root out such Left wing student force challenging the unity and integrity of the nation.
