Bhubaneswar,9/2-Noted essayist and thinker Umesh Patri’s book Hindutwa was released here on Sunday on the occasion of his third death anniversary.
“The book depicts social, philosophical and political aspects of Hinduism, and hence is the epitome of Indian culture,” opined dignitaries who attended the programme.
Dr Rajendra Narayan Das, an Odia resident of German, gracing as a guest narrated how humane Patri was. He said Patri’s ideology and philosophy would always remain as an inspiration for the society.
Former Minister Bimbadhar Kuanr, ‘Agaami Satabdi’ editor Sheikh Matlub Ali and noted columnist Asit Mohanty discussed about precious creations of Patri on the occasion.
The function organised by the Dr Umesh Patri Smruti Committee was presided over by noted litterateur and educationist Biswaranjan. Patri’s wife Dr Pratibha Devi was present.
