प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी, आदरणीय अ. भा. पदाधिकारी गण, अ. भा. कार्यकारी मंडल के सम्माननीय सदस्य, क्षेत्रों एवम् प्रांतों के मान्यवर संघचालक, कार्यवाह, अ. भा. प्रतिनिधि सभा के सदस्य गण, सामाजिक जीवन के विविध क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत समस्त निमंत्रित बंधुओं तथा बहनों, युगाब्द ५११३ तथा मार्च २०१२ में संपन्न हो रही इस अ. भा .प्रतिनिधि सभा में आप सभी का हार्दिक स्वागत है।
श्रद्धांजलि
आज हम अपने अनेक बंधुओं की, जो वर्षों से हमारे मध्य रहे, उनकी अनुपस्थिति अनुभव कर रहे हैं। जिनका नाम लेते ही गोमाता का स्मरण होता है ऐसे गोरक्षा हेतु समर्पित जोधपुर प्रांत के मा. संघचालक श्री भंवरलाल जी कोठारी अपने परिवार जनों के साथ यात्रा कर लौटे ही थे कि अपने जीवन की अंतिम यात्रा पर निकल गये। दीर्घ समय तक काशी प्रांत के मा. संघचालक रहे श्री राजेंद्र जी अग्रवाल अब हमारे मध्य नहीं रहे। कर्नाटक के श्री व्यंकटेश गुरूनायक ने गुलबर्गा में वि. हि. प. के माध्यम से सेवा का प्रभावी कार्य प्रारम्भ किया, अपने प्रसन्न व्यक्तित्व से अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्तियों को कार्य से जोड़ने में वे सफल रहे, किन्तु कर्क रोग से संघर्ष करते हुए, उन्होंने भी हमसे विदा ले ली। पंजाब के ज्येष्ठ प्रचारक श्री कृष्णचंद्र जी भारद्वाज का वृद्धावस्था (९२ वर्ष) के चलते शरीर शान्त हो गया। दरभंगा विभाग के मा. संघचालक श्री नरेंद्रसिंहजी, अरूणाचल के संभाग कार्यवाह रहे, श्री रूतुम कामगो एक दुर्घटना के चलते असमय ही चल बसे। आगरा के श्री सत्यनारायण जी गोयल जो छायाचित्रों के संकलन के लिए जाने जाते थे, अपने कलाकुंज परिवार को छोड़कर हमारे मध्य से चले गये। जयपुर निवासी विद्याभारती के डा. मधुकर जी भाटवडेकर, एन. एम. ओ. के आजीवन सदस्य डा. पी. एस. माथुर जी, कपूरथला के पत्रकार, पूर्व प्रचारक श्री मदनलाल जी बिरमानी, आज हमारे मध्य में नहीं हैं। संस्कार भारती के अ.भा.कोषाध्यक्ष के रूप में दायित्व निर्वहन करने वाले श्री पूरनचंद जी अग्रवाल अकस्मात् ही हमें छोडकर चले गये।मुंबई के निवासी प्रखर चिंतक और सामाजिक विषयों पर अपने लेखनी से सबको प्रभावित करने वाले डा. अरविंद गोडबोले जी, राष्ट्रधर्म के सह संपादक और अ. भा. साहित्य परिषद के महामंत्री श्री रामनारायण जी त्रिपाठी,‘पर्यटक’, कर्क रोग के कारण असमय ही हमसे विदा हो गये। वनवासी कल्याण आश्रम के कार्य को झारखण्ड प्रांत में स्थायी रूप प्रदान करनेवाले एवं प्रांतीय उपाध्यक्ष रहे श्री नारायण जी भगत और झारखण्ड प्रांत के मंत्री रहे श्री सत्यदेव राम जी स्वर्गस्थ हो गये। नागपूर में सहकारी क्षेत्र में कार्य की नींव रखनेवाले, गुजरात में प्रचारक इस नाते कार्य किया था ऐसे श्री जमनादास जी शाह भी अब हमारे बीच नहीं है।
भारतीय जनता पार्टी में कार्यरत ज्येष्ठ प्रचारक श्री अश्विनी कुमार जी अल्प बीमारी से, चेन्नई के भा. ज. पा. के पदाधिकारी श्री सुकुमारन नंबियार जी, तथा जाने-माने अध्ययनशील व्यक्तित्व के धनी श्री अनिल गुप्ता जी असमय ही अपनी यात्रा समाप्त कर गये। भा. ज. पा. के उत्कल प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष रहे ऐसे श्री असीत बसु जी का भी देहान्त हो गया। कर्नाटक प्रदेश के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री श्री वी. एस. आचार्य जी का तीव्र हृदयाघात से अकस्मात् निधन हुआ।
१९६२ में बांगलादेश से आये हिन्दू शरणार्थियों की सेवाकार्य में जिनकी प्रमुख भूमिका थी ऐसे भारत सेवाश्रम संघ के उपाध्यक्ष स्वामी अभयानन्द जी महाराज, विदर्भ के आध्यात्मिक संत पूज्य पंडीतकाका धनागरे भी नहीं रहे। कर्नाटक के पूर्व मुख्यमन्त्री श्री एस. बंगरप्पा और महाराष्ट्र के राजनैतिक क्षेत्र में प्रदीर्घ समय तक सक्रिय रहे ऐसे संभाजीनगर के श्री बापूसाहेब कालदाते भी अब हमारे मध्य में नहीं हैं। ऐसे ही संगीत एवं गायन के क्षेत्र में जिन्होंने अपनी साधना से केवल असम ही नहीं बल्कि सारे देश को प्रभावित किया ऐसे पद्मविभूषण मा. भूपेन्द्र जी हजारिका और वर्षों तक सिने सृष्टि में छाये रहे ऐसे श्री देवानंद जी अपनी कला साधना के लिए देशवासियों की स्मृति में बने रहेंगे। अणुउर्जा आयोग के अध्यक्ष रहे श्री पी. के. अयंगार, प्रसिद्ध उद्योगपति एवं सामाजिक कार्यों में रूचि रखनेवाले श्री अरविन्द जी मफतलाल, प्रसिद्ध नृत्य निर्देशक सुबल सरकार, प्रख्यात लेखिका, ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित श्रीमती इंदिरा गोस्वामी, रंगकर्मी पद्मभूषण श्री सत्यदेव दुबे, प्रथम महिला फोटो पत्रकार पद्मविभूषण होमाई व्यारावाला, वैष्णव गीतों के लिये गुजराती साहित्य जगत में ‘उशनस’ नाम से प्रख्यात श्री नटवरलाल पंड्या, श्रेष्ठ भारतीय फुटबॉल खिलाडी, कोलकाता के मोहनबागान क्लब के संस्थापक सदस्य श्री शैलेन मन्ना का पार्थिव शरीर भी नहीं रहा, किन्तु वे अपनी विज्ञान, उद्योग,कला-साहित्य एवं खेल के लिए देशवासियों के स्मृति में सदा बने रहेंगे।
प्राकृतिक आपदाओं, आतंकवाद, नक्सलवाद आदि में हिंसात्मक कार्यवाही के चलते परलोक गमन कर गए ऐसे सभी बंधुओं के परिवार के प्रति हम संवेदाना व्यक्त करते हैं और दिवंगत महानुभावों को हम श्रद्धांजलि अर्पण करते हैं।
कार्यस्थिति
प्रतिवर्षानुसार देशभर में गत वर्ष हम सबके प्रयासों से सम्पन्न हुए सभी संघ शिक्षा वर्ग अपने कार्यवृद्धि एवं गुणात्मकता की दृष्टि से उपयोगी सिद्ध हुए।गत वर्ष २०११ में देश में कुल ६९ वर्ग संपन्न हुए।प्रथम वर्ष के वर्ग प्रांत की योजना से एवं द्वितीय वर्ष के वर्ग क्षेत्रशः संपन्न हुए। २०११ के नवम्बर - दिसम्बर में तृतीय वर्ष के विशेष वर्ग का भी आयोजन नागपूर में किया गया था।
प्रथम वर्ष में ७३२२ स्थानों से ११५०७ शिक्षार्थी तथा द्वितीय वर्ष में २१०२ स्थानों से २७८१ शिक्षार्थी उपस्थित रहे। तृतीय वर्ष सामान्य वर्ग में ६७५ स्थानों से ७३२ शिक्षार्थी उपस्थित रहे। तृतीय वर्ष विशेष में संपूर्ण देश से ४७४ शिक्षार्थी उपस्थित थे। विशेष वर्ग में सम्मिलित हुए शिक्षार्थी दायित्व और अनुभव की दृष्टि से समृद्ध थे। अतः वर्ग का वातावरण बहुत ही अच्छा रहा। सभी ने वर्ग को सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण किया।
तृतीय वर्ष सामान्य वर्ग के समापन समारोह में कांची कामकोटी पीठाधीश पूज्यश्री जयेंद्र सरस्वति महाराज का विशेष रूप से आशीर्वचन प्राप्त हुआ। इसी अवसर पर विजयवाडा के आदरणीय श्री गंगराजुजी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। इस प्रकट कार्यक्रम में प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी का उद्बोधन हुआ। जयपुर निवासी क्षत्रिय युवा संघ के अ. भा. प्रमुख आदरणीय भगवानसिंह जी ने भी वर्ग में ३ दिन रहकर वर्ग का अवलोकन किया।
उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार वर्तमान में देश में २७९७८ स्थानों पर ४०८९१ शाखाएं चल रही हैं। ८५०८ स्थानों पर साप्ताहिक मिलन तथा ६४४५ स्थानों पर संघ मंडली के रूप में कार्य चल रहा है।
२०११ के मार्च में पुत्तूर में संपन्न अ. भा. प्रतिनिधी सभा में कुछ बिंदुओं को ध्यान में रखकर गुणात्मक समीक्षा के दृष्टि से निवेदन किया गया था। परिणामतः प्रांत-प्रांत में सभी स्तर पर गुणात्मक वृद्धि एवं समीक्षा की प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ हुई है।
प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी का प्रवास
प. पू. सरसंघचालकजी का प्रवास इस वर्ष १९ प्रांन्तों में हुआ है। प्रवास में मुख्यतः जिला तथा मंडल कार्यकर्ताओं का वर्ग एवं समन्वय बैठक की योजना प्रांत द्वारा हुई थी। अरुणाचल प्रदेश में मा. मोहनराव भागवत जी का प. पू. सरसंघचालक इस नाते प्रथम बार प्रवास सोत्साह संपन्न हुआ। अलवर (राजस्थान) में संपन्न शारीरिक प्रदर्शन कार्यक्रम विशेष उल्लेखनीय है।कार्यक्रम में सहभागी स्वयंसेवकों ने निरंतर २२ मिनिट शारीरिक प्रदर्शन कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत कर अपनी क्षमता का परिचय दिया। प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी का गुवाहाटी, जम्मू, भोपाल, हरीगढ़ (अलीगढ़), बिलासपुर (हिमाचल) और मुंबई शहरों में विशेष निमंत्रित व्यक्तियों के साथ हुए वार्तालाप के कार्यक्रम, कोच्ची में गुरुपूजन उत्सव, भाग्यनगर में MMRI के कार्यक्रम में एवं नागपुर में व्याख्यान उल्लेखनीय रहे।
शारीरिक विभाग
वडोदरा में संपन्न अ. भा. शारीरिक वर्ग में २२७ कार्यकर्ता सम्मिलित हुए।इस प्रकार का वर्ग चार वर्ष के बाद होता है। वर्ग में पू. सरसंघचालक जी, मा. सरकार्यवाह जी, मा. सह सरकार्यवाह श्री सुरेश सोनी का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ।
घोष शिविर
इस वर्ष पूर्व आन्ध्र प्रांत में ‘जयभेरी’, छत्तीसग़ढ़ प्रांत में ‘नादसंगम’, देवगिरी प्रांत में ‘राष्ट्र चेतना’ नाम से घोष शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर की पूर्व तैयारी के नाते स्थान-स्थान पर अच्छे प्रयास हुए।पूर्व आन्ध्र के घोष शिविर में २७ जिलों से ५७० वादक, छत्तीसगढ़ में २५ जिलों के ७० स्थानों से ५५८ वादक और देवगिरी प्रांत में १५ जिलों के ५९ स्थानों से ३५१ वादक उपस्थित रहे। परिणामतः इन प्रान्तों में विभिन्न स्थानों पर अच्छे घोष दल बन गए है।
बौद्धिक विभाग
संघ शिक्षा वर्ग के पश्चात् प्रांत बौद्धिक प्रमुखों की अखिल भारतीय बैठक और प्रशिक्षण के साथ-साथ बौद्धिक वक्ता कार्यशाला भी सम्पन्न हुई। इसी प्रकार सभी प्रान्तों में प्रान्त बैठकें व बौद्धिक प्रशिक्षण वर्ग हुए।
-दिसम्बर मास में भाग्यनगर में तृतीय वर्ष वर्ग (२००९-२०१०) के चयनित कार्यकर्ताओं का विशेष बौद्धिक प्रशिक्षण वर्ग हुआ। जिसमें भोगवादी जीवनशैली के दुष्परिणाम, ग्राम विकास, समाज में महिलाओं का स्थान, पर्यावरण असंतुलन और स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी की दृष्टि में राष्ट्रीय पुनरुत्थान सहित ११ महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर ३८ कार्यकर्ताओं के द्वारा विषयों की प्रस्तुति हुई। नई पीढ़ी के कार्यकर्ताओं के विकास की दृष्टि से यह अच्छी उपलब्धि है।
प्रचार विभाग
प्रचार विभाग द्वारा २०११-१२ में विभिन्न प्रशिक्षण वर्गों का आयोजन किया गया।जिस में समूह चर्चा (Panel Discussion), पत्रकार वार्ता (Press Conference), जैसे विषयों पर प्रायोगिक प्रशिक्षण, तज्ञों की उपस्थिति में किया गया।
जागरण पत्रिका, विश्व संवाद केंद्र, प्रकाशन विभाग, नियतकालिक पत्रिका आदि कार्यों के संचालन करनेवाले प्रमुख बंधुओं की भी अलग-अलग बैठकें हुईं।
सेवा विभाग
सेवा विभाग द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सेवा भारती के सहयोग से १० स्थानों पर ‘सेवा संगम’ का आयोजन किया गया। देशभर में संपन्न इस प्रकार के कार्यक्रमों में १७ प्रांतों से ७०६ संस्थाओं के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहे।जिनमें ४८० महिलाओं सहित ३१५३ प्रतिनिधि सहभागी हुए। इन कार्यक्रमों में पूज्य स्वामी वासुदेवानंद सरस्वती जी, पूज्य स्वामी सत्यमित्रानंद जी, पूज्य स्वामी कैलाशानंद जी आदि संतों का आशिर्वचन एवं अनेक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ। उत्साह, प्रेरणा, आत्मविश्वास की वृद्धि की दृष्टि से यह सभी कार्यक्रम सफल रहे। इस प्रकार के सामूहिक चिंतन, अनुभवों का आदान-प्रदान निरंतर चलता रहे यही भाव ‘सेवा संगम’ के कार्यक्रमों से ध्यान में आया है।
ग्राम विकास
विश्वमंगल गो-ग्राम यात्रा का सुप्रभाव एवं स्वयंसेवकों की ग्राम विकास में सक्रियता के कारण लगभग २०० ग्राम प्रभात ग्राम हुए हैं। कुछ प्रांतों में उपक्रमशील शाखाओं के कारण ग्रामों में सामाजिक परिवर्तन का कार्य हो रहा है।अधिकांश प्रांतों में गोवंश संरक्षण एवं जैविक कृषि का अभियान जैसा चल रहा है। ‘कल्पतरु’ पतरातु (झारखण्ड), मोहद (मध्यप्रदेश), इडकादू (कर्नाटक), कठाडा (गुजरात) जैसे ग्रामों में ग्राम स्वावलंबन के प्रयोग उल्लेखनीय है। नवम्बर २०११ को मोहद में हुई बैठक में देशभर से ७५ कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे ।इस बैठक में ग्रामों में मातृशक्ति, शिशु-बाल-युवा शक्ति एवं सज्जनशक्ति के सामुहिक प्रयत्न से कार्य आगे बढ़े, ऐसा चिंतन हुआ।
प्रान्तों के विशेष वृत्त
दक्षिण तमिलनाडु
दक्षिण तमिलनाडु प्रान्त का विशाल एकत्रीकरण कन्याकुमारी में आयोजित किया गया। स्वामी विवेकानन्द के सार्धशती समारोह के उद्घाटन के रूप में आयोजित इस एकत्रीकरण में पूरे प्रांत से १५९०६ पूर्ण गणवेशधारीं तरूणों की उपस्थिति, प्रान्त में कार्यवृद्धि को दर्शाती है। ५२००० नागरिक इस समारोह में उपस्थित रहे। प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी का उद्बोधन हुआ। यह विशाल एकत्रीकरण निश्चित ही प्रान्त के कार्यकर्ताओं के परिश्रम का तथा संघकार्य की स्वीकार्यता का परिचय देता है।
कर्नाटक उत्तर का हिन्दुशक्ति संगम, महाशिविर
गत दो वर्षो से २७ से २९ जनवरी २०१२ को सम्पन्न इस महाशिविर की व्यापक तैयारियां चल रही थी।इस शिविर में १९८२ स्थानों से २१७६३ संख्या उपस्थित रही।
१९८१ में संयुक्त कर्नाटक प्रान्त का महाशिविर संपन्न हुआ था। उस शिविर में २१००० संख्या रही थी।इतने वर्षों में काफी कार्यवृद्धि हुई है। जनसामान्य का सहयोग अच्छा रहा।लगभग १५% शिविरार्थी पहली बार संघ के किसी कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित हुए। अनुशासन, शारीरिक प्रदर्शन एवं व्यवस्थायें बहुत ही अच्छी रही।समस्त प्रसार माध्यमों का सहयोग भी संतोषजनक रहा। यह शिविर कर्नाटक उत्तर प्रान्त के संघकार्य में वृद्धि लानेवाला सिद्ध होगा।
शिविर में ५५% मंडलों का प्रतिनिधित्व व ६६ केन्द्रों से १६१६ घोष वादकों की उपस्थिति उल्लेखनीय है।शिविर में देश, संस्कृति एवं संघ से संबंधित ‘युगदृष्टि’ नामक प्रदर्शनी लगायी गई। ३ दिनों में १ लाख से अधिक नागरिकों ने शिविर का अवलोकन किया।
अंतिम दिन ३ प्रकार की गोष्ठियों का आयोजन किया गया। इन गोष्ठियों में १७६ पूज्य संत, १५०० गणमान्य नागरिक और ३५०० महिलायें उपस्थित रहीं। समापन कार्यक्रम में ४७००० नागरिक उपस्थित थे।
पश्चिम आन्ध्र
कुछ वर्षों के अन्तराल से इस वर्ष सम्पूर्ण प्रान्त में जिलाशः शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया। प्रांत में संपन्न कुल २१ शिविरों में १६३३ स्थानों से १४८९० स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लिया। एक शिविर में तो ४५५ महाविद्यालयीन छात्र सहभागी हुए, जिसमें ४५ छात्र एक ही महाविद्यालय से आये थे।
गोंड समाज का सम्मेलन
इसी प्रांत में धर्म जागरण समन्वय विभाग द्वारा एक वर्ष पूर्व गोंड जनजाति के २०० प्रमुख व्यक्तियों की बैठक कर गोंड जनजाति की विभिन्न समस्याओं पर चर्चा हुई थी।उसी में विशाल हिन्दू सम्मेलन आयोजित करना निश्चित किया गया। ४० विभिन्न स्थानों पर ५२ सामाजिक बैठकों का आयोजन किया गया।कार्यक्रम की सिद्धता हेतु ७० कार्यकर्ताओं ने ३०० ग्रामों में सम्पर्क किया।
इस सम्मेलन में ८००० पुरूष एवं ३००० महिलाओं की उपस्थिति रही। विशेषतः साधु-सन्तों ने भी भाग लेकर इस कार्यक्रम की गरिमा बढ़ायी। हरिद्वार से स्वामी चिन्मयानन्द जी एवं श्री श्री विद्यारण्य भारती जी के पावन सान्निध्य में यह कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।
देवगिरी प्रान्त
शाखा दृढ़ीकरण की दृष्टि से ‘दृढ़िकरण सप्ताह’ संपन्न हुआ। १५१ स्थानों की २४३ शाखाओं पर विशेष प्रयास हुआ।परिणाम स्वरूप ११४ शाखाएं बढ़ी है। अनुवर्ती प्रयास की दृष्टि से शाखा दर्शन की भी योजना बनायी गयी, परिणाम अच्छे हैं। गत कुछ वर्षों में ‘पुण्यभूमि भारत’, ‘प्रार्थना अभ्यास’, ‘सूर्यनमस्कार’ ऐसे विषयों को लेकर विशेष उपक्रम किये गये थे। इस वर्ष जलसमस्या को ध्यान में रखकर ‘जल साक्षरता सप्ताह’ की योजना बनायी गई।
१ से ८ जनवरी २०१२ के मध्य १७७ ग्रामीण एवं १२० नगरीय स्थानों पर कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न हुए। जलबचत, शुद्ध पेयजल आदि विषयों पर चर्चा, चिपकियां (Sticker) लगाना ऐसे कार्यक्रम हुए। २५६९२ घरों में संपर्क किया गया।क्रियान्वयन में ग्रामीण क्षेत्र की शाखाओं का सहभाग अच्छा रहा।
गुजरात
‘‘सांप्रदायिक एवं लक्षित हिंसा अधिनियम’’ विषय को लेकर प्रांत के ३८ जिलों में ५८ स्थानों पर सामाजिक सद्भाव बैठकों का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें लगभग ४१०० विशेष व्यक्तियों की उपस्थिति प्रेरक रही। युवकों की उपस्थिति भी विशेष उल्लेखनीय है। ४० विभिन्न पंथ-संप्रदायों के पू. संतों की उपस्थिति उत्साहवर्धक थी। प्रान्त में इस विषय को लेकर १,५०,००० गुजराती तथा ५००० अंग्रेजी पुस्तिकाओं का विवरण किया गया। विभिन्न बिरादरियों के दीपावली स्नेहमिलन के अवसर पर इस विषय को सबके सम्मुख रखा गया।
मालवा
हरियाली अमावस्या पर ६५७ स्थानों पर १८१२४ पौधे लगाये गये। ३८२ स्थानों पर ‘अखण्ड भारत संकल्प दिवस’ के कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुए,जिसमें ३३८२८ महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया।प्रांत में चयनित बाल स्वयंसेवकों का शिविर संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें २३८ शाखाओं से ३३८८ बाल स्वयंसेवक सहभागी हुए। धर्मजागरण समन्वय विभाग के तत्वावधान में बडवानी जिले में निकाली गई जागरण यात्रा ने १० दिन में ७५० ग्रामों में सम्पर्क करते हुए, जनसभाओं का आयोजन किया, जिनमें बड़ी संख्या में वनवासी बन्धु-भगिनी सम्मिलित हुए। अंत में बडवानी जिले की ३ तहसीलों में ‘इन्दल राजा की पूजा’ जो वनवासी अंचल में प्रचलित है, उसे सामुहिक रूप से सम्पन्न किया गया। इसमें ३५००० से अधिक वनवासी बन्धु-भगिनी सम्मिलित हुए और सामुहिक रूप से धर्म और संस्कृति रक्षा का संकल्प लिया।
मध्य भारत
मध्य भारत सर्वाधिक शाखाओं के जिला राजगढ़ में पहली बार प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी के आगमन को निमित्त बनाकर जिले के कार्यकर्ताओं का सम्मेलन तथा हिन्दु समागम का आयोजन किया गया।
सम्मेलन में १०२० ग्रामों से १०२१५ कार्यकर्ता निर्धारित वेश में उपस्थित रहे तथा हिन्दु समागम में ९०० माताओं सहित ९६०० नागरिकों ने सहभागिता की।
दूसरी ओर सबसे कम शाखाओं वाले जिलों में से एक शिवपुरी में १५ जनवरी २०१२ को आयोजित पथसंचलन अभूतपूर्व रहा। शक्ति जागरण हेतु क्रमबद्ध कार्यक्रमों की योजना बनायी गई।प्रमुख कार्यकर्ताओं की एक बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें १००० कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे, पश्चात् जिले भर में १६८ बैठकें आयोजित की गई। ८० कार्यकर्ताओं ने विस्तारक के रूप में समय दिया। २० छात्रावासों, १८ महाविद्यालयों तथा अन्य निजी शिक्षा मार्गदर्शक केन्द्रों से संपर्क किया गया। जिले के ७४९ ग्रामों में से ३५० ग्रामों से कुल ५८०० स्वयंसेवकों ने संचलन में भाग लिया। लगभग १०० परिवारों में से ३ पीढियां एक साथ संचलन में सम्मिलित हुई। इसमें सह सरकार्यवाह मा. सुरेश सोनी जी का उद्बोधन हुआ।
महाकोशल
सेवा भारती व सक्षम के सहयोग से प्रान्त के सुदूर वनांचल क्षेत्रों में विशेषतः महिलाओं, बच्चों व विकलांगो हेतु स्वास्थ्य शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया। प्रान्त के डिंडौरी, शहडोल, दमोह तथा मण्डला जिले में ऐसे शिविर आयोजित किये गये।
जबलपुर महानगर की सेवा बस्तियों का भी समावेश इस योजना में रहा ६०४ कार्यकर्ताओं के द्वारा २८३ चिकित्सकों की सेवायें उपलब्ध कराते हुए, २२६२१ नागरिकों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया गया। शिविरार्थियों को भगवान राम का चित्र तथा मॉं नर्मदा जी का लाकेट भेंट स्वरूप प्रदान किया गया।अनुवर्तन की योजना भी बनायी जा रही है। जबलपुर महानगर सेवा विभाग के द्वारा पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दृष्टि से शाखाओं के माध्यम से वृक्षारोपण की योजना बनायी गयी। जिसमें ५५०० वृक्ष लगाये गये।
पंजाब
पंजाब प्रान्त में शाखा दर्शन एवं महाविद्यालयीन छात्रों का शिविर विशेष उल्लेखनीय कार्यक्रम रहे। निर्धारित अवधि में १४२ अनुभवी कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा ४२३ शाखाओं पर प्रवास हुआ। परिणामतः सर्दियों में शाखा बन्द होने का प्रमाण कम रहा।
महाविद्यालयीन छात्रों के कार्य में वृद्धि हो इस दृष्टि से नवम्बर २०११ में शिविर आयोजित किया गया था।शिविर में २०० महाविद्यालयों तथा ३ विश्वविद्यालयों से सहभागिता रही। ३ कुलपति, ८ वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक तथा ३० अध्यापकों की शिविर मे उपस्थिति विशेष उल्लेखनीय हैं। १८० नये छात्र प्रथम बार संघ के कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित हुए। अनुवर्तन की योजना भी बनी है।
मेरठ
मेरठ प्रांत में कार्यवृद्धि की विशेष योजना के अंतर्गत महाविद्यालयीन कार्य की ओर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। गत वर्ष के अनुसार इस वर्ष भी महाविद्यालयीन छात्रों के शिविर विभागशः सम्पन्न हुए। जिसमें ७८६ स्थानों से २९१० छात्र उपस्थित रहे, जिसमें १५८६ छात्र पहली बार संघ के किसी कार्यक्रम में आये। शिविरों में गत वर्ष की तुलना में ७०० छात्र अधिक रहे।
दक्षिण बंग
दक्षिण बंग के समुद्री सीमावर्ती जिले गंगासागर एवं सुंदरवन (द. २४ परगना) प्राकृतिक आपदा तथा सांप्रदायिक तनाव से ग्रस्त रहते हैं। अतः सुंदरवन जिले में कार्यवृद्धि हेतु विशेष प्रयास हुआ।प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी के प्रवास को निमित्त बनाकर किये गये प्रयासों के कारण शाखाओं की संख्या ५६ से बढ़कर १२४ तक पहुंच गयी। प. पू. सरसंघचालक जी के कार्यक्रम में पूर्णगणवेश में १८०० स्वयंसेवक और ८००० नागरिक उपस्थित हुए। ५०० स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा सामुहिक शारीरिक कार्यक्रमों का प्रदर्शन किया गया।
सिक्किम भूकंप राहत कार्य
दिनांक १८ अक्तूबर २०११ को आये विनाशकारी भूकंप ने उत्तर सिक्किम के लोगों का जनजीवन बुरी तरह अस्तव्यस्त कर दिया। स्वयंसेवकों ने तुरंत ही उपलब्ध साधनों से राहत कार्य प्रारंभ कर दिये। भूकंप पीडित सहायता समिति के नाम से पीडितों को लोगों को त्रिपाल, कम्बल, बर्तन, भोजन सामग्री, दवाईयॉं व अन्य जीवनोपयोगी वस्तुओं का वितरण किया गया। स्थायी सेवा कार्य के लिये ‘कांचनजंगा सेवा ट्रस्ट-सिक्किम’ के नाम से छात्रावास और अन्य सेवा प्रकल्पों की योजना बनाई जा रही है।
सांप्रदायिक एवं लक्षित हिंसा विरोधी अधिनियम २०११ को लेकर देशभर में प्रबुद्ध नागरिक तथा विभिन्न सामाजिक, धार्मिक समूहों में जागरण की दृष्टि से कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। विशेषतः संपर्क विभाग, वि. हि. परिषद ने इस अधिनियम के विरोध में अनेक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हुए ‘कॉंग्रेस’ की विभाजनकारी, संविधान विरोधी और विशेषतः हिंदू विरोधी मानसिकता को उजागर किया। उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार देशभर में विभिन्न स्थानोंपर ३११७ कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुए, जिसमें १३६५२ महिलाओं सहित १,५४,३५८ नागरिक सम्मिलित हुए।
राष्ट्रीय परिदृश्य
भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी जन आंदोलन
सुयोग्य लोकपाल की निर्मिती एवं विदेशस्थ बैंकों में जमा कालाधन वापस लाया जाय इन विषयों को लेकर गत वर्ष विभिन्न जन आंदोलन देश में चले।आंदोलनों में जनसामान्य की सहभागिता अभूतपूर्व रही। इसमें संघ के स्वयंसेवक भी अपनी सजग नागरिक भूमिका निभाते हुए व्यापक प्रमाण में सक्रियता से सहभागी रहे। स्वार्थपरक राजनीति के चलते आंदोलनों में ‘संघ’ की सहभागिता को लेकर अनावश्यक चर्चा भी चलायी गईं। समस्या निवारण के संदर्भ में प्रभावी कदम उठाये जाने के बजाय जनसामान्य का ध्यान हटाने का ही यह प्रयास था।
सत्ता की शक्ति का दुरुपयोग करते हुए आंदोलन को निर्ममता से कुचलने का निंदनीय प्रयास किया गया।
वास्तव में सभी राजनैतिक, सामाजिक, धार्मिक नेतृत्व ने व्यवस्था परिवर्तन पर चिंतन करते हुए प्रभावी उपाय-योजना करने की आवश्यकता है। इसीसे समस्या निवारण की दिशा में कुछ परिणाम दिखाई देंगे।
साम्प्रदायिक एवं लक्षित हिंसा विरोध अधिनियम २०११
इस अधिनियम को लेकर पहले दिन से ही सभी स्तरों पर सर्वदूर विवाद खडा हो गया। समानांतर सत्ता जैसी भूमिका निभानेवाली राष्ट्रीय सलाहाकार परिषद न तो समाज का सही प्रतिनिधित्व करती है न तो उसके द्वारा प्रस्तावित अधिनियम का प्रारूप देशहित में है। प्रारूप की शब्दावली, रखे गये सुझाव राजनीति से प्रेरित एवं हिन्दूविरोधी मानसिकता को ही प्रगट करते हैं।
‘समूह (Group)’ की रचना का सुझाव तो देश के संविधान में व्यक्त ‘एकजन’ इस भावना को ही छेद देने वाला है। ‘अल्पसंख्य-बहुसंख्य’ शब्द प्रयोग देशवासियों में विभाजन करता है। किसी भी हिंसात्मक या दुराचार के लिये बहुसंख्यक हिंदू वर्ग को ही दोषी माना जायेगा या अल्पसंख्य और बहुसंख्य के आधारपर समान अपराध के लिये भिन्न प्रकार का दंड सुझानेवाला यह प्रस्ताव सर्वथा अनुचित और गैरकानूनी हैं। अनुसूचित जाति/जनजातियों को ‘समुह’ का हिस्सा मानकर हिन्दू समाज से अलग करने का कुटिल षडयंत्र इस प्रस्तावित प्रारूप में प्रगट होता है। इसके अंतर्गत ‘राष्ट्रीय प्राधिकरण (National Authority)’ का प्रस्तावित प्रावधान तो संघीय व्यवस्था के तहत राज्यसरकारों के संविधान प्रदत्त अधिकारों का हनन करनेवाला ही सिद्ध होगा। सभी स्तरों पर और समाज के सभी वर्गों,विभिन्न राजनैतिक दलों, धार्मिक, सांप्रदायिक तथा सामाजिक नेतृत्व द्वारा से जडमूल से नकारना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।
धर्म-संप्रदाय आधारित आरक्षण का विरोध
सच्चर कमेटी के सुझावों को स्वीकार करते हुए अन्य पिछडी जाति (OBC) के लिये दिया गया २७% आरक्षण में से ही ४.५% आरक्षण मुस्लिम समाज को देने का केन्द्र सरकार का निर्णय आरक्षण व्यवस्था देने की पृष्ठभूमि के विरोधी है। मुस्लिम समाज की पिछडी जातियों को आरक्षण का प्रावधान तो पहले से ही है। अलग से ४.५% आरक्षण मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण और ‘व्होट बैंक’ सुरक्षित करने की दृष्टि से किया गया प्रावधान है। संप्रदाय आधारित आरक्षण न संविधान सम्मत है न ही देशहित का है। यह पिछडी जातियों के लिये प्राप्त होने वाली सुविधाओं को छीनता है। दूसरी ओर अहिन्दू शिक्षा संस्थानों जो शासकीय अनुदान से संचालित होते है, में अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति हेतु किया गया आरक्षण का प्रावधान समाप्त कर दिया गया है, जो सर्वथा अनुचित है। इससे अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से मतांतरण को बढावा मिलेगा। देश से मतांतरण, जनसंख्या असंतुलन जैसे खतरे पहले से ही दिखाई देते है। अतः जनजागरण के द्वारा जनमत संगठित करते हुए ‘सत्ता’ पर दबाव निर्माण करके उठाये जा रहे इस प्रकार के हिन्दू समाज विरोधी कदमों का विरोध करने की आवश्यकता है।
अनावश्यक संभ्रम
प्रतिरक्षा से संबंधित व्यक्तियों की विश्वसनीयता पर प्रश्नचिन्ह लगाने की घटनायें और इस विषय में प्रसार माध्यमों द्वारा चलायी जा रही चर्चा जनसामान्य के मन में असमंजस की स्थिति निर्माण करती है। इससे प्रतिरक्षा तंत्र के प्रति श्रद्धा, विश्वास को नुकसान तो होगा ही तंत्र की नैतिक शक्ति पर भी आघात होगा। प्रतिरक्षा तंत्र और वैज्ञानिक किसी प्रकार की राजनीति के शिकार बनने में देश का अहित ही है। निष्पक्ष रूप से निर्णय अवश्य हो लेकिन अनावश्यक संभ्रम की स्थिति बने यह अनुचित होगा।
स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्धशती समारोह
अगले वर्ष देश स्वामी विवेकानंद की सार्ध शती (१५० वां जन्मवर्ष) मनाने जा रहा है। स्वामीजी का जीवन समस्त देशवासियों को तेजस्वी जीवन का संदेश देता है। प्रखर हिन्दुत्व, अपनी मातृभूमि के प्रति अनन्य श्रद्धा, समाज के प्रति अपना मनोभाव एवं कर्तव्य की प्रबल प्रेरणा प्रदान करता है। गत शताब्दी में उनके द्वारा प्रस्तुत किये विचार आज भी उतने ही प्रासंगिक है।
अपने संघकार्य का स्वरूप तो स्वामी विवेकानंद द्वारा समय-समय पर प्रगट किये गये विचारों का व्यावहारिक प्रगटीकरण है।
वे कहते हैं ‘भारत की राष्ट्रीय एकात्मता याने बिखरी हुई आध्यात्मिक शक्ति का एकत्रीकरण। एकही आध्यात्मिक स्वर जिनके हृदय में झंकृत होते हैं ऐसे लोगों का संघटित समाज याने भारत राष्ट्र है।’ आगे वे कहते हैं कि, ‘स्वयं के प्रति श्रद्धा का पुनर्जागरण होने से ही अपने राष्ट्र के सामने जो प्रश्न है उसका क्रम से निवारण हो सकता है। आज अगर किसी बात की आवश्यकता है तो इस श्रद्धा की’। यह समाज बलसंपन्न बनें, शौर्ययुक्त बनें।सामर्थ्य यही आज की आवश्यकता है। सामर्थ्य यही जीवन है। व्यक्ति को कार्यप्रवण कौन करता है ? सामर्थ्य ही कार्यप्रवण करता है।’’
हिन्दु समाज में सामर्थ्य निर्माण करना यही अपने कार्य का स्वरूप है। प. पू. श्री गुरूजी ने कहा है कि, ‘अपने कोटि-कोटि के समाज को हम एक दिव्य मिश्रण से अनुप्राणित कर, उसके हृदय में एक शुद्ध भावना जगाएं और सबकी शक्ति का सामंजस्य से उपयोग करने वाला अनुशासन उसमें निर्माण करें तो अभेद्य, अजेय, नित्य विजयशाली सामर्थ्य हम खड़ा कर सकेंगे, इसमें कोई संदेह नही। अपनी दिन प्रतिदिन की शाखा कार्यपद्धति में ऐसे सामंजस्ययुक्त प्रचंड सामर्थ्य का अविष्कार करने का अपना संकल्प है।’

Nagpur March 16: The 3-day RSS top annual meet, Akhil Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha(ABPS), highest body for policy formulation and decision making inaugurated this morning by RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat. The ABPS to be held till Sunday March 18 of 2012 at Dr Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan, Reshambhag, Nagpur in which major issues of national interest will be discussed.
A resolution on Growing parochialism, likely to be adopted in this apex body meet.
Representatives elected from RSS-Shakhas of all regions of the country, state level office bearers of RSS, National office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivar) organizations are attending all the three days of the meeting.
From Karnataka, senior RSS functionaries K Suryanarayana Rao, Mai Cha Jayadev, N Krishnappa, S Ramanna, Mangesh Bhende, DM Ravindra, Gopal, Mukunda, Dr Prabhakar BhatTippeswamy, Kajampady Subramanya Bhat, Prof BV Sridhar Swamy and several others are participating this 3 day conclave.
Prominent leaders from Bharateeya Kisan Sangh, working for the farmers; Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, a tribal welfare organization; Akhil Bharateeya Vidyarthi Parishad, one of the biggest student organization of the contry; Bharateeya Mazdoor Sangh, a leading trade union; Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a forum of Sadhus, Sants and Pontiffs; Bharatiya Janata Party, one of the two most important political parties of India; are attending the meeting.

Obituary
Today we all miss some of our brethren who had been with us for many years. Ma. Bhavarlalji Kothari, Prant Sanghachalak of Jodhpur, a dedicated servant of the Go Vamsha (cattle wealth), had just returned from a pilgrimage with family only to set off again on his final journey; Ma. Rajendraji Agrawal, who had been the Prant Sanghachalak of Kashi Prant for a long time, is no more; Sri Venkatesh Gurunayak of Karnataka, who started effective sewa activity in Gulbarga through the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and succeeded in mobilizing the support of many eminent citizens through his effable personality left us for heavenly abodes after a prolonged fight with cancer; Sri Krishnachandraji Bharadwaj, a senior Pracharak in Punjab too passed away due to old age (92 years); Shri Narendra Singhji Ma. vibhag sanghchalak of Darbhanga, Sri Rutum Kamgo, our Sambhag Karyavah in Arunachal Pradesh met with untimely demise in an accident; Sri Satyanarayanji Goyel, who was well-known for his artistic skills, too departed away permanently leaving behind his Kalakunj family; Dr. Madhukarji Bhatwadekar of Vidya Bharati from Jaipur, life-member of NMO Dr. P.S. Mathur and journalist and former Pracharak Sri Madanlalji Veermani from Kapurthala passed away. National Treasurer of Samskar Bharati Sri Puranchandji Agrawal passed away suddenly; eminent thinker who left profound impact on all of us through his perspicacious writings on social issues Sri Arvind Godbole of Mumbai and former Editor of Rashtra Dharma and former President of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad Sri Ramnarayanji Tripathi alias ‘Paryatak’ succumbed to cancer and left us; Sri Narayanji Bhagat who was instrumental in establishing Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Jharkhand and served as its Vice President for long years and Sri Satyadeoji Ram, state secretary of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Shri Jamanadasji Shah worked as a pracharak in Gujrat and started work in cooperative sector in Nagpur, too left for heavenly abodes.
Senior Pracharak Sri Ashwini Kumarji, who was working in the BJP passed away after a brief illness while Sri Sukumaran Nambiar, a BJP leader from Chennai and Sri Anil Gupta, a dedicated and committed activist too met with untimely death; former President of Utkal Pradesh BJP Sri Aseem Bose too passed away; Minister for Higher Education in Karnataka Dr.
V.S. Acharya passed away suddenly due to massive heart attack.
Vice-president of Bharat Sevashram Sangh Swami Abhayanand Maharaj who served Hindu refugees from Bangladesh, Pujya Panditkaka Dhanagare from Vidarbha also passed away. Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri
S. Bangarappa and veteran politician of Karnataka Sri Bapusaheb Kaldate of Sambhaji Nagar, too are no more. Padma Vibhushan Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, who left an indelible impression on not only Assam but the entire Bharat through his music and veteran film actor Sri Dev Anand will now remain as cherished memories in the minds of the people of the country. Former Chairman of IAEA Dr. P. K. Aiyengar and; renowned industrialist and philanthropist Sri Arvindji Mafatlal, famous choreographer Sri Subodh Sarkar, Smt. Indira Goswami well-known writer who was recepient of Jnanpeeth Award and theatre artist Sri Satyadev Debey, Padmavibhushan hounoured first women photo journalist Homai Vyarawala, Shri Natwarlal Pandya alias ‘Ushanas’, famous for his vaishnav songs in Gujrati, founder member of Mohanbagan club and well-known indian football player shri Shailen Manna will now remain only as eternal memories of the science, industry, literary, arts and sports fields for the countrymen.
We express our deep condolences for our brethren who departed from this world due to natural disasters, or died due to violence perpetrated by terrorists and Naxalites, and we pay our homage to nobel departed souls.
Status of our activity
Sangh Siksha Vargas (SSV) take place every year; they prove useful for qualitative and quantitative improvement of our activity. In 2011 a total of 69 SSVs were held in the country. Pratham Varsha Vargas were held at Prant level while Dwitiya Varsha were held at Kshetra level. A Vishesh Tritiya Varsha Varga was also held in Nov.-Dec. 2011 at Nagpur.
In Pratham Varsha Vargas a total of 11507 trainees participated from 7322 places; 2781 trainees came from 2102 Places for Dwitiya Varsha. A total of 732 trainees from 675 places attended regular Tritiya Varsha and 474 trainees from all over country attended Vishesh Tritiya Varsha. Trainees attending Vishesh Tritiya Varsha Varga were mature in experience and responsibility. Hence the atmosphere in the Varga was very impressive. All trainees completed the training successfully.
At the concluding program of the Samanya Tritiya Varsha Varga Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswati Maharaj, Peethadheesh of Kanchi Kamakoti Math, delivered his benediction. Sri Gana Raju of Vijayawada was the Chief Guest . P. P. Sarsanghchalak Man. Mohanji Bhagwat also addressed on this occasion. Akhil Bharatiya President of Kshatriya Yuva Sangh, Man. Sri. Bhagwan Singh from Jaipur, also spent 3 days in the Varga and appreciated the programs.
As per the available information, currently there are 40891 Shakhas in 27978 Places. Saptahik Milans are being held in 8508 places and Sangh Mandali in 6445 places.
It was decided at the ABPS of Puttur in March 2011 to concentrate and review our work more on qualitative improvement of certain aspects of our work. Consequently at all levels in all Prants, initiatives have been taken in that direction.
Special report on P. P. Sarsanghachalakji’s Tour
P.P. Sarsanghchalakji toured 19 Prants in his itinerary this year. During this tour vargas of district and mandal karyakartas and Samanvay baithaks were organized in various prants. Mananiya Mohanrao visited Arunachal Pradesh for the first time this year in the capacity of Sarsanghchalak . He was received there with great enthusiasm. Physical demonstrations at Alwar in Rajasthan need special mention here. The swayamsevaks continuously presented non-stop physical programs for 22 minutes exhibiting their prowess. Also the meetings with special invitees and prominent personalities of the society at Guwahati, Jammu, Bhopal, Harigarh (Aligarh), Bilaspur (Himachal), Mumbai were remarkable. Besides Gurupujan utsav of Kochi and bouddhik programmes at Bhagyanagar and Nagpur deserve special mention.
Shareerik Vibhag
In the Akhil Bharatiya Shareerik Varga held at Vadodara 227 karyakartas participated. Such vargas held once in four years.
P.P. Sarsanghachalakji, Mananiya Sarkaryavahji and Saha Sarkaryavah Ma. Sureshji Soni were present in the varga and guided the participants.

This year in Purva Andhra ‘Jaibheri‘, in Chhattisgarh ‘Nadsangam’, in Deogiri ‘Rashtra Chetana’ special camps of Ghosh Vadaks (Bands) were organized. Good programs with planned efforts were organized at various places as precursors to these camps. This resulted in impressive performance of swayamsevaks in all these events. In Ghosh camp of Purva Andhra 570 Vadaks from 27 districts participated while in Chhattisgarh 526 Vadaks from 70 places of 25 districts and 351 Vadaks from 59 places of 15 districts in Deogiri prant took part in these camps. Ghosh units are set up in these places as a result of these camps.
Bouddhik Vibhag
An All India baithak and orientation of Prant Bouddhik Pramukhs and workshop for speakers were organized after the Sangh Shiksha Varg. Similarly such meetings were held in almost all the Prants. In December, a special Baudhik Prashikshan Varg of selected swayamsevaks, who completed Third Year in recent years, was held at Bhagyanagar in which 38 karyakartas present an overview of eleven important subjects which included ill effects of consumerist life style, place and role of women in society, rural development, environmental imbalance and the concept of national reawakening as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda. This proved to be beneficial for development of next generation karyakartas.
Prachar Vibhag
Various training programme were held by Prachar Vibhag in 2011-12 on subjects like panel discussion, press conference etc under the guidance of some media experts. Baithaks for in-charges Jagaran Patrika, Vishwa Samvad Kendra, publications, periodicals etc were also held.
Sewa Vibhag
In collaboration with Rashtriya Sewa Bharati ‘Sewa Sangam‘ programs were organized in 10 places by Sewa Vibhag. Representatives of 706 organizations from 17 prants participated in these programme. This included 3153 representatives including 480 women members. Benedictions of revered Pujya Swami Vasudevananda Saraswatiji, revered Swami Satyamitranandji, Swami Kailashananaji and other saints were received in these programs. Besides, guidance from various social activists was also provided.
These programs were successful in creating necessary enthusiasm, inspiration and impetus to the work. The experience of these programs was that such collective thinking and exchange of notes should take place on a regular basis.
Gram Vikas
With the positive effects of Vishwa Mangal Go-gram Yatra and active participation of our swayamsevaks in village development, nearly 200 villages have been converted as ‘Prabhat Gram’. In some Prants, due to project-oriented shakhas, the pace of social transformation in villages has accelerated. In most of the prants campaigns for protection of cow progeny and bio-farming are being undertaken. Experiements in Kalpataru Patratu (Jharkhand), Mohad (Madhya Pradesh), Idakadu (Karnataka), Kathada (Gujarat) are worth mentioning here. A meeting at Mohad in November 2011 was attended by 75 karyakartas from all over the country. This meeting deliberated on expanding the scope of activities with the help and cooperation of Matrishakti (women), shishu-bal-yuva shakti (children and youth) and sajjan shakti (Virtuous people).
Vishesh Vritta
Dakshin Tamil Nadu
Massive congregation of Dakshin Tamil Nadu prant was orgnized at Kanyakumari in view of the 150th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The congregation was attended by 15906 swayamsevaks in full uniform reflecting the growth of Sangh work in that prant. 52000 citizens too attended the program and listened to the speech of PP Sarsanghchalakji. This massive congregation indeed reflected the acceptability of Sangh ideology and activities in Tamil Nadu which was achieved by the hard toil and untiring zeal of our karyakartas.
Hindu Shakti Sangam Maha Shibir in Uttar Karnataka
Extensive preparations were going on for this Maha Shibir for the last two years. A total of 21,763 Swayamsevaks from 1982 places attended this Maha Shibir. The Maha Shibir of entire Karnataka held in 1981 was attended by 21,000 Swayamsevaks. Our activity has grown leaps and bounds in the last several decades. Support of the local people was also impressive. 15% Swayamsevaks were first timers for such a Shibir; yet discipline, physical demonstrations and arrangements had been very impressive. Support of the media too was satisfying. This Shibir will certainly prove a landmark in the growth of Sangh activity in Uttar Karnataka. Participation from 55% Mandals in the Shibir and a total of 1616 Ghosh players from 66 places in the Shibir need special mention. An exhibition by name Yuga Drishti’ depicting various aspects of our country, culture and Sangh has also been held in the Shibir which was visited by more than 1 lakh citizens. Three symposia were organized on the last day of the Shibir; 176 saints were present in one while 1500 eminent citizens attended the other. Over 3500 women attended the third. About 47000 citizens attended the concluding ceremony of the Shibir.
Paschim Andhra
After a gap of several years camps were organized for swayamsevaks at district level. 14,890 swayamsevaks participated from 1633 places. 455 graduate students attended one camp among whom were 45 from one college.
Gond Samaj Sammelan
In Andhra, Dharma Jagaran Samanvay Vibhag had organized a Baithak of 200 prominent people of Gond community. Various problems of the community were discussed there. It was decided there to organize a massive Hindu Sammelan. 52 community meetings were organized at 40 places. 70 karyakartas travelled to 300 villages in preparation to the event. 8000 men and 3000 women attended the Sammelan. Participation of saints enhanced the prestige of the event. Program was held in the auspicious presence of Swami Chinmayanandaji and Sri Sri Vidyaranya Bharatiji from Haridwar.
Devgiri Prant
A week-long focused campaign was undertaken to strengthen Shakhas. Special efforts were made on 243 Shakhas in 151 places. It resulted in the increase of 114 Shakhas. As a follow up, Shakha Darshan program was undertaken. It had good results. A special program was organized this year. There were campaigns in the past years on issues like ‘Punyabhumi Bharat’, Prarthana Abhyas’ and ‘Surya Namaskar’ etc. Keeping the water problem in view a ‘water literacy week’ had been planned this year. Programs were held during 1-8 January in 177 villages and 120 towns. Water conservation, clean drinking water etc issues were highlighted through discussions, stickers etc. 25,692 families have been contacted. Shakhas in rural areas contributed to a great extent in implementation of this program.
Gujarat Prant
‘Social Goodwill Meetings’ (Samajik Sadbhav Baithak) were organized at 58 places in all the 38 districts for a discussion on “Communal and Targeted Violence Bill” in which 4100 special invitees were present. The presence of youth in these meetings was worth mentioning. Participation of Revered saints representing 40 different sects was also encouraging. 150,000 Gujarati and 5000 English booklets were distributed in the Prant on this topic. This issue was discussed among various biradaris during the Dipawali Milan programs.
Malwa Prant
On the occasion of Hariyali Amavasya a total of 18124 saplings were planted in 657 places. Akhand Bharat Samkalp Diwas programs were held on 14-15 Aug. in 382 places in which 33,828 students participated. A camp for selected Bal Swayamsevaks was held in the Prant which was attended by 3388 Bal Swayamsevaks from 238 Shakhas. 750 villages were contacted and public meetings held during the 10-day Jagaran Yatra of Dharma Jagaran Vibhag in Badvani district. Tribal brethren participated in it in large numbers. ‘Indal Raja Worship’, which is popular in that tribal region, was celebrated as a public festival on large scale. More than 35,000 tribals attended the festival and collectively vowed to protect and preserve our dharma and culture.
Madhya Bharat Prant
In view of PP Sarsanghchalakji’s first ever tour of Rajgarh district which boasts of having maximum number of shakhas in the Prant, a karyakarta sammelan and Hindu Samagam was organized. In this program 10215 karyakartas from 1020 villages were present. Besides, 9600 citizens including 900 Mahila participated in the program.
On the other hand, the route March organized in Shivpuri, one of the districts with least number of Shakhas, was unprecedented. It was decided to organize a route march as a morale booster with 10,000 swayamsevaks. To achieve this goal a schedule of programs was also drawn up. Over 1000 karyakartas attended the Baithak for preparation followed by 168 baithaks all over the district. 80 karyakartas gave full time as Vistaraks. 20 hostels, 18 graduate colleges and many other private institutions were contacted. 5,800 swayamsevaks from 350 out of the total 750 villages of the district participated in the route march. From around 100 families swayamsevaks of 3 generations participated in the march. Ma. Suresh Soniji addressed the program.
Mahakoshal Prant
Health camps were organized by Seva Vibhag for women, children and handicapped in the remote tribal regions of the Prant with the help of Sewa Bharati and Saksham. These camps were held in districts like Dindori, Shahadol, Damoh and Mandla. Sewav Basts in Jabalpur too were included. 22,621 citizens were provided with medical check up with the help of the services of 283 doctors. 604 karyakartas were engaged in this campaign. All attendees at these health camps were presented with a photo of Bhagwan Ram and a locket of Ma Narmadaji. Follow up has been chalked out.
In Jabalpur Mahanagar, environment protection scheme was chalked out by Sewa Vibhag in collaboration with shakhas and under this 5500 trees were planted.
Punjab Prant
Events that call for special mention in Punjab Prant include the Shakha Darshan program and the camp for graduate students. 142 senior functionaries have visited 423 Shakhas in a stipulated period. As a result reduction in number of Shakhas during winters could be arrested.
A camp for university students was organized in November 2011 in order to increase our activity among them. There was participation from 142 graduate colleges and 9 universities in the camp. 3 vice chancellors, 8 senior professors and 30 lecturers too participated in the camp. This camp was the first experience of Sangh for over 180 students. Follow up plans have also been drawn.
Meerut Prant
Special attention was given to expanding the work among the college students in Meerut Prant. This year too, vibhag-wise camps for college students were organized in which 2910 students from 786 places participated. Out of these, 1586 students attended the camps for the first time. The participation registered a growth of 700 swayamsevaks over the last year’s number.
Dakshin Bang
Costal districts of Gangasagar and Sunderban (South 24 Parganas) of Dakshin Bang are sensitive the districts which are sensitive and prone to natural disasters and communal tensions. Special efforts were undertaken for expansion of our work in Sunderban district. In view of PP Sarsanghchalakji’s visit special attempts were made due to which the number of shakhas have gone up from 56 to 124. 1800 swayamsevak in full uniform participated in the program of PP Sarsanghchalakji. Besides 8000 citizens were also present. 500 swayamsevaks performed physical programs.
Earth Quake Relief Work in Sikkim
The October 18, 2011 massive earthquake has devastated badly shattered the life of people in North Sikkim. But the help from our swayamsevaks was instantaneous and quick. With whatever available material they plunged into relief activities. ‘Bhukamp pidit sahayata samiti‘ was formed to provide succor to the affected people. They were given tarpaulin, blankets, utensils, ration, medicines and other necessary items. For permanent relief schemes are underway under the auspices of ‘Kanchanjangha Sewa Trust-Sikkim’. Plans are being chalked out to set up hostels and other service projects.
Programs held against Communal and Targeted Violence Bill -2011
Programs were held all over the country in the context of the Communal and Targeted Violence Bill – 2011 to awaken eminent citizens, social and religious leaders. Sampark Vibhag, VHP, Adhivakta Parishad were in the forefront in organizing these programs and exposing the divisive, unconstitutional and anti-Hindu mindset of the Congress. As per information available 3117 programs were held in various places in the country in which 1,54,358 eminent citizens includes 13,652 Mahila, participated.
National scenario
Mass campaign against corruption
Massive popular campaigns were launched last year for bringing in Jan Lokpal Bill and bringing back Indian black money from banks abroad. Sangh swayamsevaks also as consciouos citizens participated in this movement in a big way. These campaigns received huge popular support. Unwarranted controversy was sought to be created for narrow political ends over the involvement of Sangh in these campaigns. Instead of addressing the concerns of these campaigns efforts were made to divert the public attention.
Reprehensible attempts were made to crush the campaigns using brute force of power.
Need of the hour is for all political, social and religious leaders to come together and brain storm over systemic reforms and inch towards that. That only can ensure solution to this problem.
Communal and Targeted Violence Bill 2011
Controversy arose from the first day itself over this proposed bill at all levels everywhere. The National Advisory Council, which is akin to parallel power centre, neither truly represents the society nor is the bill proposed by it is in national interest. Wording in the draft and recommendations made smack of political and anti-Hindu mindset. Definition of ‘Group’ in this draft totally negates the spirit of ‘One People’ in our Constitution. It divides countrymen into minority and majority. It holds majority Hindu community responsible for all kinds of communal violence. It recommends different punishments for same crime on the basis of minority and majority. This draft also conspires to divide Hindu society by including SCs and STs in the definition of ‘Group’.
Proposal to constitute a ‘National Authority’ will undermine the Constitutional powers of the State Governments given under federal system. This draft needs to be rejected lock, stock and barrel by all sections of the society including all political parties, religious and social leaders.
Opposition to Religion-based Reservations
The decision of the Union Govt. to extend 4.5% reservations to Muslims out of the OBC quota of 27% following the recommendations of the Sachar Committee is against the spirit of our Constitution and affirmative action. There is already provision for reservations to the backward section among Muslims. 4.5% provision is only for the sake of vote bank and Muslim appeasement politics. Religion-based reservations are neither in tune with the spirit of the Constitution nor in the national interest. It adversely affects the benefits being extended to the OBCs. On the other hand the reservations for SCs/STs in non-Hindu institutions, which receive grants from the government, have been terminated. This will only result in more conversions.
Country is witnessing dangers of conversion and demographic imbalance. It is necessary to mobilise public opinion through public awakening campaigns and ensure that such anti-Hindu measures are prevented.
Unwarranted Misapprehensions
Incidents that cast aspersions on the credibility of the personnel of the defense establishment and sensational media campaigns on such matters lead to unwarranted misapprehensions in the minds of the people. It will not only damage the trust in the security establishment but also destroy the morale of the establishment. It is not in national interest to target defense establishment and the scientists. Let there be impartial investigations but it is imprudent to create atmosphere of doubt and apprehension.
150 birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda
Country is going to celebrate 150 Birth Anniversary of Swamiji next year. Life of Swamiji inspires the whole country for a vibrant life. It inspires in the countrymen intense Hindutva, passionate commitment for the motherland, sensitivity towards the society and profound motivation for performing our duty. His message, delivered more than 100 years ago, remains relevant to this day.
Our Sangh work is in reality the manifestation of the ideals enunciated by Swami Vivekananda on several occasions. He said “National integration of Bharat is consolidation of its scattered spiritual strength; an organized society whose hearts reverberate with the same spiritual music. Such an organized society is Bharat Rashtra”. He further says: “By rekindling the faith in self various problems confronting the country can be gradually solved. What is required today is this faith. This society must become strong, powerful. Strength is must today. Strength is life. What makes an indivdual work? Strength only inspires one to work.”
The nature of our work is to create strength in the Hindu society. P.P. Sri Guruji had said that once we inspire our society of crores with a divine mixture, kindle pure emotions in their hearts and, inculcate discipline to use that collective strength with judiciousness, we can undoubtedly create an impenetrable, invincible and ever victorious prowess. Our resolve is to manifest such massive judicious strength in our working system of day-to-day shakha.

Obituary
Today we all miss some of our brethren who had been with us for many years. Ma. Bhavarlalji Kothari, Prant Sanghachalak of Jodhpur, a dedicated servant of the Go Vamsha (cattle wealth), had just returned from a pilgrimage with family only to set off again on his final journey; Ma. Rajendraji Agrawal, who had been the Prant Sanghachalak of Kashi Prant for a long time, is no more; Sri Venkatesh Gurunayak of Karnataka, who started effective sewa activity in Gulbarga through the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and succeeded in mobilizing the support of many eminent citizens through his effable personality left us for heavenly abodes after a prolonged fight with cancer; Sri Krishnachandraji Bharadwaj, a senior Pracharak in Punjab too passed away due to old age (92 years); Shri Narendra Singhji Ma. vibhag sanghchalak of Darbhanga, Sri Rutum Kamgo, our Sambhag Karyavah in Arunachal Pradesh met with untimely demise in an accident; Sri Satyanarayanji Goyel, who was well-known for his artistic skills, too departed away permanently leaving behind his Kalakunj family; Dr. Madhukarji Bhatwadekar of Vidya Bharati from Jaipur, life-member of NMO Dr. P.S. Mathur and journalist and former Pracharak Sri Madanlalji Veermani from Kapurthala passed away. National Treasurer of Samskar Bharati Sri Puranchandji Agrawal passed away suddenly; eminent thinker who left profound impact on all of us through his perspicacious writings on social issues Sri Arvind Godbole of Mumbai and former Editor of Rashtra Dharma and former President of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad Sri Ramnarayanji Tripathi alias ‘Paryatak’ succumbed to cancer and left us; Sri Narayanji Bhagat who was instrumental in establishing Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Jharkhand and served as its Vice President for long years and Sri Satyadeoji Ram, state secretary of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Shri Jamanadasji Shah worked as a pracharak in Gujrat and started work in cooperative sector in Nagpur, too left for heavenly abodes.
Senior Pracharak Sri Ashwini Kumarji, who was working in the BJP passed away after a brief illness while Sri Sukumaran Nambiar, a BJP leader from Chennai and Sri Anil Gupta, a dedicated and committed activist too met with untimely death; former President of Utkal Pradesh BJP Sri Aseem Bose too passed away; Minister for Higher Education in Karnataka Dr.
V.S. Acharya passed away suddenly due to massive heart attack.
Vice-president of Bharat Sevashram Sangh Swami Abhayanand Maharaj who served Hindu refugees from Bangladesh, Pujya Panditkaka Dhanagare from Vidarbha also passed away. Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri
S. Bangarappa and veteran politician of Karnataka Sri Bapusaheb Kaldate of Sambhaji Nagar, too are no more. Padma Vibhushan Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, who left an indelible impression on not only Assam but the entire Bharat through his music and veteran film actor Sri Dev Anand will now remain as cherished memories in the minds of the people of the country. Former Chairman of IAEA Dr. P. K. Aiyengar and; renowned industrialist and philanthropist Sri Arvindji Mafatlal, famous choreographer Sri Subodh Sarkar, Smt. Indira Goswami well-known writer who was recepient of Jnanpeeth Award and theatre artist Sri Satyadev Debey, Padmavibhushan hounoured first women photo journalist Homai Vyarawala, Shri Natwarlal Pandya alias ‘Ushanas’, famous for his vaishnav songs in Gujrati, founder member of Mohanbagan club and well-known indian football player shri Shailen Manna will now remain only as eternal memories of the science, industry, literary, arts and sports fields for the countrymen.
We express our deep condolences for our brethren who departed from this world due to natural disasters, or died due to violence perpetrated by terrorists and Naxalites, and we pay our homage to nobel departed souls.
Status of our activity
Sangh Siksha Vargas (SSV) take place every year; they prove useful for qualitative and quantitative improvement of our activity. In 2011 a total of 69 SSVs were held in the country. Pratham Varsha Vargas were held at Prant level while Dwitiya Varsha were held at Kshetra level. A Vishesh Tritiya Varsha Varga was also held in Nov.-Dec. 2011 at Nagpur.
In Pratham Varsha Vargas a total of 11507 trainees participated from 7322 places; 2781 trainees came from 2102 Places for Dwitiya Varsha. A total of 732 trainees from 675 places attended regular Tritiya Varsha and 474 trainees from all over country attended Vishesh Tritiya Varsha. Trainees attending Vishesh Tritiya Varsha Varga were mature in experience and responsibility. Hence the atmosphere in the Varga was very impressive. All trainees completed the training successfully.
At the concluding program of the Samanya Tritiya Varsha Varga Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswati Maharaj, Peethadheesh of Kanchi Kamakoti Math, delivered his benediction. Sri Gana Raju of Vijayawada was the Chief Guest . P. P. Sarsanghchalak Man. Mohanji Bhagwat also addressed on this occasion. Akhil Bharatiya President of Kshatriya Yuva Sangh, Man. Sri. Bhagwan Singh from Jaipur, also spent 3 days in the Varga and appreciated the programs.
As per the available information, currently there are 40891 Shakhas in 27978 Places. Saptahik Milans are being held in 8508 places and Sangh Mandali in 6445 places.
It was decided at the ABPS of Puttur in March 2011 to concentrate and review our work more on qualitative improvement of certain aspects of our work. Consequently at all levels in all Prants, initiatives have been taken in that direction.
Special report on P. P. Sarsanghachalakji’s Tour
P.P. Sarsanghchalakji toured 19 Prants in his itinerary this year. During this tour vargas of district and mandal karyakartas and Samanvay baithaks were organized in various prants. Mananiya Mohanrao visited Arunachal Pradesh for the first time this year in the capacity of Sarsanghchalak . He was received there with great enthusiasm. Physical demonstrations at Alwar in Rajasthan need special mention here. The swayamsevaks continuously presented non-stop physical programs for 22 minutes exhibiting their prowess. Also the meetings with special invitees and prominent personalities of the society at Guwahati, Jammu, Bhopal, Harigarh (Aligarh), Bilaspur (Himachal), Mumbai were remarkable. Besides Gurupujan utsav of Kochi and bouddhik programmes at Bhagyanagar and Nagpur deserve special mention.
Shareerik Vibhag
In the Akhil Bharatiya Shareerik Varga held at Vadodara 227 karyakartas participated. Such vargas held once in four years.
P.P. Sarsanghachalakji, Mananiya Sarkaryavahji and Saha Sarkaryavah Ma. Sureshji Soni were present in the varga and guided the participants.

This meeting deliberated on expanding the scope of activities with the help and cooperation of Matrishakti (women), shishu-bal-yuva shakti (children and youth) and sajjan shakti (Virtuous people).

Dakshin Tamil Nadu
Massive congregation of Dakshin Tamil Nadu prant was orgnized at Kanyakumari in view of the 150th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The congregation was attended by 15906 swayamsevaks in full uniform reflecting the growth of Sangh work in that prant. 52000 citizens too attended the program and listened to the speech of PP Sarsanghchalakji. This massive congregation indeed reflected the acceptability of Sangh ideology and activities in Tamil Nadu which was achieved by the hard toil and untiring zeal of our karyakartas.
Hindu Shakti Sangam Maha Shibir in Uttar Karnataka
Extensive preparations were going on for this Maha Shibir for the last two years. A total of 21,763 Swayamsevaks from 1982 places attended this Maha Shibir. The Maha Shibir of entire Karnataka held in 1981 was attended by 21,000 Swayamsevaks. Our activity has grown leaps and bounds in the last several decades. Support of the local people was also impressive. 15% Swayamsevaks were first timers for such a Shibir; yet discipline, physical demonstrations and arrangements had been very impressive. Support of the media too was satisfying. This Shibir will certainly prove a landmark in the growth of Sangh activity in Uttar Karnataka. Participation from 55% Mandals in the Shibir and a total of 1616 Ghosh players from 66 places in the Shibir need special mention. An exhibition by name Yuga Drishti’ depicting various aspects of our country, culture and Sangh has also been held in the Shibir which was visited by more than 1 lakh citizens. Three symposia were organized on the last day of the Shibir; 176 saints were present in one while 1500 eminent citizens attended the other. Over 3500 women attended the third. About 47000 citizens attended the concluding ceremony of the Shibir.
Paschim Andhra
After a gap of several years camps were organized for swayamsevaks at district level. 14,890 swayamsevaks participated from 1633 places. 455 graduate students attended one camp among whom were 45 from one college.
Gond Samaj Sammelan
In Andhra, Dharma Jagaran Samanvay Vibhag had organized a Baithak of 200 prominent people of Gond community. Various problems of the community were discussed there. It was decided there to organize a massive Hindu Sammelan. 52 community meetings were organized at 40 places. 70 karyakartas travelled to 300 villages in preparation to the event. 8000 men and 3000 women attended the Sammelan. Participation of saints enhanced the prestige of the event. Program was held in the auspicious presence of Swami Chinmayanandaji and Sri Sri Vidyaranya Bharatiji from Haridwar.
Devgiri Prant
A week-long focused campaign was undertaken to strengthen Shakhas. Special efforts were made on 243 Shakhas in 151 places. It resulted in the increase of 114 Shakhas. As a follow up, Shakha Darshan program was undertaken. It had good results. A special program was organized this year. There were campaigns in the past years on issues like ‘Punyabhumi Bharat’, Prarthana Abhyas’ and ‘Surya Namaskar’ etc. Keeping the water problem in view a ‘water literacy week’ had been planned this year. Programs were held during 1-8 January in 177 villages and 120 towns. Water conservation, clean drinking water etc issues were highlighted through discussions, stickers etc. 25,692 families have been contacted. Shakhas in rural areas contributed to a great extent in implementation of this program.
Gujarat Prant
‘Social Goodwill Meetings’ (Samajik Sadbhav Baithak) were organized at 58 places in all the 38 districts for a discussion on “Communal and Targeted Violence Bill” in which 4100 special invitees were present. The presence of youth in these meetings was worth mentioning. Participation of Revered saints representing 40 different sects was also encouraging. 150,000 Gujarati and 5000 English booklets were distributed in the Prant on this topic. This issue was discussed among various biradaris during the Dipawali Milan programs.
Malwa Prant
On the occasion of Hariyali Amavasya a total of 18124 saplings were planted in 657 places. Akhand Bharat Samkalp Diwas programs were held on 14-15 Aug. in 382 places in which 33,828 students participated. A camp for selected Bal Swayamsevaks was held in the Prant which was attended by 3388 Bal Swayamsevaks from 238 Shakhas. 750 villages were contacted and public meetings held during the 10-day Jagaran Yatra of Dharma Jagaran Vibhag in Badvani district. Tribal brethren participated in it in large numbers. ‘Indal Raja Worship’, which is popular in that tribal region, was celebrated as a public festival on large scale. More than 35,000 tribals attended the festival and collectively vowed to protect and preserve our dharma and culture.
Madhya Bharat Prant
In view of PP Sarsanghchalakji’s first ever tour of Rajgarh district which boasts of having maximum number of shakhas in the Prant, a karyakarta sammelan and Hindu Samagam was organized. In this program 10215 karyakartas from 1020 villages were present. Besides, 9600 citizens including 900 Mahila participated in the program.
On the other hand, the route March organized in Shivpuri, one of the districts with least number of Shakhas, was unprecedented. It was decided to organize a route march as a morale booster with 10,000 swayamsevaks. To achieve this goal a schedule of programs was also drawn up. Over 1000 karyakartas attended the Baithak for preparation followed by 168 baithaks all over the district. 80 karyakartas gave full time as Vistaraks. 20 hostels, 18 graduate colleges and many other private institutions were contacted. 5,800 swayamsevaks from 350 out of the total 750 villages of the district participated in the route march. From around 100 families swayamsevaks of 3 generations participated in the march. Ma. Suresh Soniji addressed the program.
Mahakoshal Prant
Health camps were organized by Seva Vibhag for women, children and handicapped in the remote tribal regions of the Prant with the help of Sewa Bharati and Saksham. These camps were held in districts like Dindori, Shahadol, Damoh and Mandla. Sewav Basts in Jabalpur too were included. 22,621 citizens were provided with medical check up with the help of the services of 283 doctors. 604 karyakartas were engaged in this campaign. All attendees at these health camps were presented with a photo of Bhagwan Ram and a locket of Ma Narmadaji. Follow up has been chalked out.
In Jabalpur Mahanagar, environment protection scheme was chalked out by Sewa Vibhag in collaboration with shakhas and under this 5500 trees were planted.
Punjab Prant
Events that call for special mention in Punjab Prant include the Shakha Darshan program and the camp for graduate students. 142 senior functionaries have visited 423 Shakhas in a stipulated period. As a result reduction in number of Shakhas during winters could be arrested.
A camp for university students was organized in November 2011 in order to increase our activity among them. There was participation from 142 graduate colleges and 9 universities in the camp. 3 vice chancellors, 8 senior professors and 30 lecturers too participated in the camp. This camp was the first experience of Sangh for over 180 students. Follow up plans have also been drawn.
Meerut Prant
Special attention was given to expanding the work among the college students in Meerut Prant. This year too, vibhag-wise camps for college students were organized in which 2910 students from 786 places participated. Out of these, 1586 students attended the camps for the first time. The participation registered a growth of 700 swayamsevaks over the last year’s number.
Dakshin Bang
Costal districts of Gangasagar and Sunderban (South 24 Parganas) of Dakshin Bang are sensitive the districts which are sensitive and prone to natural disasters and communal tensions. Special efforts were undertaken for expansion of our work in Sunderban district. In view of PP Sarsanghchalakji’s visit special attempts were made due to which the number of shakhas have gone up from 56 to 124. 1800 swayamsevak in full uniform participated in the program of PP Sarsanghchalakji. Besides 8000 citizens were also present. 500 swayamsevaks performed physical programs.
Earth Quake Relief Work in Sikkim
The October 18, 2011 massive earthquake has devastated badly shattered the life of people in North Sikkim. But the help from our swayamsevaks was instantaneous and quick. With whatever available material they plunged into relief activities. ‘Bhukamp pidit sahayata samiti‘ was formed to provide succor to the affected people. They were given tarpaulin, blankets, utensils, ration, medicines and other necessary items. For permanent relief schemes are underway under the auspices of ‘Kanchanjangha Sewa Trust-Sikkim’. Plans are being chalked out to set up hostels and other service projects.
Programs held against Communal and Targeted Violence Bill -2011
Programs were held all over the country in the context of the Communal and Targeted Violence Bill – 2011 to awaken eminent citizens, social and religious leaders. Sampark Vibhag, VHP, Adhivakta Parishad were in the forefront in organizing these programs and exposing the divisive, unconstitutional and anti-Hindu mindset of the Congress. As per information available 3117 programs were held in various places in the country in which 1,54,358 eminent citizens includes 13,652 Mahila, participated.

Mass campaign against corruption
Massive popular campaigns were launched last year for bringing in Jan Lokpal Bill and bringing back Indian black money from banks abroad. Sangh swayamsevaks also as consciouos citizens participated in this movement in a big way. These campaigns received huge popular support. Unwarranted controversy was sought to be created for narrow political ends over the involvement of Sangh in these campaigns. Instead of addressing the concerns of these campaigns efforts were made to divert the public attention.
Reprehensible attempts were made to crush the campaigns using brute force of power.
Need of the hour is for all political, social and religious leaders to come together and brain storm over systemic reforms and inch towards that. That only can ensure solution to this problem.
Communal and Targeted Violence Bill 2011
Controversy arose from the first day itself over this proposed bill at all levels everywhere. The National Advisory Council, which is akin to parallel power centre, neither truly represents the society nor is the bill proposed by it is in national interest. Wording in the draft and recommendations made smack of political and anti-Hindu mindset. Definition of ‘Group’ in this draft totally negates the spirit of ‘One People’ in our Constitution. It divides countrymen into minority and majority. It holds majority Hindu community responsible for all kinds of communal violence. It recommends different punishments for same crime on the basis of minority and majority. This draft also conspires to divide Hindu society by including SCs and STs in the definition of ‘Group’.
Proposal to constitute a ‘National Authority’ will undermine the Constitutional powers of the State Governments given under federal system. This draft needs to be rejected lock, stock and barrel by all sections of the society including all political parties, religious and social leaders.
Opposition to Religion-based Reservations
The decision of the Union Govt. to extend 4.5% reservations to Muslims out of the OBC quota of 27% following the recommendations of the Sachar Committee is against the spirit of our Constitution and affirmative action. There is already provision for reservations to the backward section among Muslims. 4.5% provision is only for the sake of vote bank and Muslim appeasement politics. Religion-based reservations are neither in tune with the spirit of the Constitution nor in the national interest. It adversely affects the benefits being extended to the OBCs. On the other hand the reservations for SCs/STs in non-Hindu institutions, which receive grants from the government, have been terminated. This will only result in more conversions.
Country is witnessing dangers of conversion and demographic imbalance. It is necessary to mobilise public opinion through public awakening campaigns and ensure that such anti-Hindu measures are prevented.
Unwarranted Misapprehensions
Incidents that cast aspersions on the credibility of the personnel of the defense establishment and sensational media campaigns on such matters lead to unwarranted misapprehensions in the minds of the people. It will not only damage the trust in the security establishment but also destroy the morale of the establishment. It is not in national interest to target defense establishment and the scientists. Let there be impartial investigations but it is imprudent to create atmosphere of doubt and apprehension.
150 birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda
Country is going to celebrate 150 Birth Anniversary of Swamiji next year. Life of Swamiji inspires the whole country for a vibrant life. It inspires in the countrymen intense Hindutva, passionate commitment for the motherland, sensitivity towards the society and profound motivation for performing our duty. His message, delivered more than 100 years ago, remains relevant to this day.
Our Sangh work is in reality the manifestation of the ideals enunciated by Swami Vivekananda on several occasions. He said “National integration of Bharat is consolidation of its scattered spiritual strength; an organized society whose hearts reverberate with the same spiritual music. Such an organized society is Bharat Rashtra”. He further says: “By rekindling the faith in self various problems confronting the country can be gradually solved. What is required today is this faith. This society must become strong, powerful. Strength is must today. Strength is life. What makes an indivdual work? Strength only inspires one to work.”
The nature of our work is to create strength in the Hindu society. P.P. Sri Guruji had said that once we inspire our society of crores with a divine mixture, kindle pure emotions in their hearts and, inculcate discipline to use that collective strength with judiciousness, we can undoubtedly create an impenetrable, invincible and ever victorious prowess. Our resolve is to manifest such massive judicious strength in our working system of day-to-day shakha.

Nagpur: March 16: Citizens of India enjoy the prime authority over the natural resources in the country and care must be taken to protect this right before utilizing these resources for other purposes. Draft regarding this issue will be tabled in the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Saha Sarakaryawah Shri Dattatreya Hosbale while addressing a press conference in Nagpur on March 16 regarding the proposed issues to be discussed in the ABPS.
Citing the example of water while commenting on the natural resources, he said that, the countrymen must get clean and pure drinking water which is the right of every citizen. Today, most of the water obtained from the natural resources has become polluted. Purification work of this water must be undertaken on priority but while letting out this water for industrial purposes, it must be accepted that the public has the primary authority over this water, he said.
People can have some grievances regarding certain issues. Nobody will deny this fact. But while accepting these demands, vested political interest should not creep in. RSS feels that such demands should be accepted with the spirit of ‘Ek Rashtra, Ek Jan.’ The intentions of disintegrating the society under the camouflage of such agitations must be nipped in the bud. Resolution regarding the same will be passed in the Pratinidhi Sabha with a view to ensure the national integrity, he informed.
RSS is strongly opposed to the concept of ‘live-in relationship’ that is raising hood nowadays. Husband and wife living together are certainly justified. However, ‘anybody living with anybody’ is totally unjustifiable. This concept is not only against Indian civilization but it is dangerous for the entire human race. Acceptance of this system will end the feeling of mutual trust among the society. Hence this anti-social system must not be accepted on any ground. RSS advocates the policy of three generations living together happily in a single family, he said.
While replying to a question in this regard, Hosbale said that the senior citizens live in alienation because of some unavoidable circumstances. Such people should associate themselves with various seva activities that are going around them rather than adopting the path of live-in relationship. He also cited the examples of late Nanaji Deshmukh’s Chitrakoot and Sadhvi Ritambhara’s Vatsalyagram Ashram at Vrindavan while elaborating the issue. Senior citizens living at these ashrams look after the underprivileged children and give them parental affection, he said.
Informing that RSS is working on the issues of cattle conservation and family motivation with due concern, he said that family is the smallest constituent of the society. Hence it must be ensured that the children should get all types of sanskars in the family itself. The seeds of nationalism must be sowed in their hearts. From this point of view, RSS organizes the programmes for motivating the family heads from time to time. A workshop was conducted recently for addressing the newly-married and the importance of marriage and family was inculcated in their minds. Television has narrowed the gaps among the hearts of individuals. Hence ‘No TV Day’ should be observed at least once a month in every house. On this day, all the family members must dine together, visit the places of historical importance or a seva project and visit the temples.
RSS plans to celebrate the year 2013-14 as the 150th birth anniversary year of Swami Vivekananda on a wide scale. Accordingly, the preparations will be made during this year for the upcoming celebration. The details will be discussed in the meeting and the resolution will also be passed regarding the same, he said.
People will be made acquainted with the noble views of Swami Vivekananda that are also valuable in today’s date. Programme schedule is being framed in accordance with Swami Vivekananda’s views regarding issues such as women empowerment, nation building and nation-centered policies. Thrust will be given on the propagation of the idea that the re-construction of nation is not possible unless the economically backward, dalit and underprivileged sections of the society are uplifted, he elaborated.

आज प्रात: 8.30 बजे मा. सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहनजी भागवत एवं सरकार्यवाह भैय्याजी जोशी इन्होंने भारतमाता पूजन कर दीप प्रज्वलन किया। उस के बाद मा. सरकार्यवाहजीने अपना वार्षिकअहवाल प्रस्तुत किया। इस प्रतिनिधि सभा में आनेवाले प्रस्तावों के बारे में बताते हुए आपने कहा की आज राज्यों के बीच जल, जमीन और भाषाविवाद को लेकर कटुता उत्पन्न होती है। आज देश में आपसी सामंजस्य और सौहार्द का वातावरण निर्माण करने की जरूरी है। आज अनेक बातों को लेकर देश को तोडने का प्रयास हो रहा है। वह नही होना चाहिए। क्षुद्र राजनीतिक लाभ हेतु राजकारण भी नही होना चाहिए। हो सकता है, की मॉंगे सही भी रहें, पर उससे नफरत पैदा कर उसका लाभ उठाने का कुत्सित प्रयास न किया जाय।
प्राय: ऐसे बोला जाता है की यदि तिसरा विश्वयुद्ध होता है (जो न हो), तो वह जल के लिये होगा। पानी संकट काफी गहरा है। उसमें पर्यावरण का प्रश्न भी है। सब को शुद्ध जल पीने के लिए मिलना चाहिए तथा कृषि एवं कारखानेके लिए भी जल की उपलब्धता जरूरी है। ऐसे मे प्राकृतिक संसाधनों पर जनता का अधिकार बना रहना चाहिए। ऐसी जानकारी इस प्रस्ताव के संदर्भ मे देते हुए दत्तात्रयजी ने आगे बताया की इस वर्ष नये प्रतिनिधि, नये वातावरण में नागपुर में प्रतिनिधि सभा के लिये आये हैं। वैसे तो सभी स्वयंसेवकों को नागपुर और रेशीमबाग में आना बहुतही अच्छा लगता है। पर इस वर्ष महर्षि व्यास सभागृह का निर्माण हुवा है, तथा नये भवन भी बने हैं। इसलिये सब नया वातावरण है। संघ के संविधाननुसार हर तीसरे वर्ष सरकार्यवाहजी का चुनाव होता है। यह चुनाव इस वर्ष होनेवाला है।
आपने आगे कहा की, अगले वर्ष 12 जनवरी 2013 से लेकर 11 जनवरी 2014 तक स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्ध शताब्दी होनेवाली है। उसके लिये तयारीयां प्रारंभ हुई है। कन्याकुमारी के विवेकानंद केंद्र के साथ इसका आयोजन हो रहा है। संघ के स्वयंसेवक समाज को जोडते हुए इस कार्यक्रम में रहेंगे। इस हेतु अ. भा. स्तरपर स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्ध शताब्दी समारोह समिति गठित होनेवाली है। उसके अंतर्गत विविध कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जायेगा, जिसमें साहित्यनिर्मिति और अन्यान्य कार्यक्रमों का समावेश है। स्वामीजीने हिंदुत्व के बारे में जो विचार कहा है, वह कैसा सार्वकालिक है, इसका विश्लेषण करते हुए सर्वसमावेशक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। स्वामीजी ने समाज के जागरण के बारे में विशेष कर युवकों के बारे में जो कहा है, वह सर्वकालिक है। उसमे समाज के दलित, पिछडे वर्गों के युवकों को साथ लेकर कार्यक्रम किये जायेंगे। स्वामीजी ने प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों की भारतीयता एवं महिलाओं के सहभाग के बारेमें भी कहा था। उसको लेकर इस कार्यक्रम में विचार होगा। इसलिये 1000 युवकों को प्रशिक्षित करने का कार्य भी हाथ में लिया है। इस सार्ध शती महोत्सव में समाज के विविध लोग भी कार्यक्रम ले सकते है। उनको साहित्य, कार्यकर्ता एवं किसी अन्य मदद की आवश्यकता पडी तो समिति उनको मदद करेगी।
प्राकृतिक आपदा में संघ स्वयंसेवक सेवाकार्य करते हैं। अभी सिक्कीम में बाढ आई, तब स्वयंसेवकोंने मददकार्य किया। प्राकृतिक आपदा को छोडकर विविध सेवाकार्य- देशभर में करीब डेढ लाख कार्य चलते हैं, उसकी भी चर्चा यहां होगी। ऐसे बताते हुए दत्तात्रयजी ने आगे बताया की गोसंवर्धन एवं कुटुंबप्रबोधन का जो कार्य चलता है, असके बारे में भी यहां चर्चा होगी। पुना में सेवासहयोग नाम की संस्था चलती है, बेंगलोर में भी एक संस्था कार्यरत है। कुटुंबप्रबोधन यह बहुतही महत्वपूर्ण कार्य है। आज समाज में प्राय: ऐसा देखा जाता है, की हमारे पूर्वजोंने जो दादा-दादी, मां-बाप एवं पोता-पोती यह जो तीन पीढीयां एकसाथ रखने का प्रयास किया था, वह आजकल दिखाई नही पडता।

परिवार प्रबोधन संबंधी जानकारी देते हुए सहसरकार्यवाह दत्तात्रयजी ने बताया की हम सोशल नेटवर्किंग का काम कर सकते हैं। जैसा कुछ दिन पहले “नो पेट्रोल डे’ सम्पन्न हुवा वैसेही सप्ताह में एक दिन “नो टी. वी. डे’ मना सकते हैं। 28 जनवरी यह ऐसा दिन है, जिस दिन सव्वा लाख लोगोंने टी. वी. नही देखा। टी. वी. न देखने से जो समय बचता है, उसमें हम क्या कर सकते है, ऐसा विषय हिंदुस्थान टाईम्स जैसे पेपर ने लिया। यह समय हम परिवार में आपसी गपशप मार सकते है। पढना, समाज के अन्याय लोगों से मिलना, समाजसेवा के काम करना, इस में बिता सकते हैं। मित्र एवं परिवार जनों को इसमें सुखद आनंद आयेगा। वृद्धत्व के अकेलेपन से उभरने के लिये चित्रकूट में स्व. नानाजी देशमुख ने जो गुरुकुल योजना चलाई या वृंदावन में दीदी मां ऋतंभराने जो वात्सल्य ग्राम योजना चलाई उसका भी उल्लेख किया।
संघ शिक्षा वर्ग का समय धूपकाल में शुरू होता है। तृतीय वर्ष नागपुर में 13 मई से 12 जून तक हो रहा है। उसके अलावा संपूर्ण देश में 71 जगह संघशिक्षा वर्ग होंगे। उसमें करीबन 15 से 16 हजार तक संघ स्वयंसेवक सहभाग लेते है।
संघकार्य के विस्तार संबंधी चर्चा करते हुए आपने कहा की अरुणाचलमें जो कार्यक्रम हुआ असमें 500 स्वयंसेवक गणवेष में थे। और सरसंघचालकजी वहॉं पर उपस्थित थे। दक्षिण तमिलनाडु के कन्याकुमारी कार्यक्रम में 17 हजार स्वयंसेवक थे और करीबन 50 हजार लोगों ने इस कार्यक्रम का आनंद लिया। संघ कार्य का विस्तार हो रहा है। इस विस्तार और गुणवत्ता के बारे में प्रतिनिधि सभा में चर्चा होती है।
भाजपा मेंं संघटन सचिव जो प्राय: संघप्रचारक रहते हैं, उनकी भूमिका के बारे में एक प्रश्न में दत्तात्रयजी ने कहा, उनको संघटन का काम दिया जाता है। वह पार्टी के सरकार संबंधित कार्य में हस्तक्षेप नही करते। हिंदुत्व और राजकारण के बारे में आपने कहा- आज कोई भी एक धर्म की सत्ता आये ऐसा नही कह सकता। हम सब भारतीय जो अन्य धर्म में और जाती के है, उनको पोलिटिकल पार्टीज में सम्मीलित करनाही पडता है। भाजपा ने इसके पूर्व भी देशहित में ऐसे निर्णय लिये है, जैसा आज गोवा बीजेपी में कॅथॉलिक्स को प्रवेश दिया गया या नागपुर महापालिका में मुस्लिम लीग के साथ समझौता किया गया।
इस संदर्भ में आये एक प्रश्न के जबाब में आपने कहा की, हम “लिव्हिंग इन रिलेशनशिप’ में विश्वास नही रखते। वह विचार पाश्चिमात्य भी नही है, वह भोगवादी विचार है। वह विकृति है। हम उसका समर्थन नही कर सकते। जब केवल एकही व्यक्ति रहती है, तो उसे सुरक्षा देने हेतु नानाजी देशमुख ने गुरुकुल का एक प्रयोग किया था। उस व्यक्ति के साथ चार विद्यार्थि रहते है। उनकी मदद उस व्यक्ति को मिलती है। यदि अकेला व्यक्ति है, तो उसे समाजकार्य में अधिक रूप में सहभागी होना चाहिये। इसके बारे में भी हमने प्रयास किया है। कुटुंब प्रबोधन यह आज के युग में महत्व का विषय है, ऐसा प्रतिपादन आपने किया। इस पत्रपरिषद में आपके साथ अ. भा. प्रचारप्रमुख मा. डॉ. मनमोहनजी वैद्य उपस्थित थे।

नागपुर, दि. 16 मार्च : प्राकृतिक संसाधनों पर जनता का अधिकार बरकरार रहें ऐसे कथन करनेवाला तथा राष्ट्रीय एकात्मता संबंधित ऐसे दो प्रस्ताव आज से प्रारंभ हुए अ. भा. प्रतिनिधि सभा में आनेवाले है। इस दोनों प्रस्तावों को प्रस्ताव समिति ने विचार कर प्रस्ताव निश्चित किये हैं। उस पर प्रतिनिधि अपने विचार रखेंगे ऐसा प्रतिपादन रा. स्व. संघ के सहसरकार्यवाह श्री. दत्तात्रयजी होसबले इन्होंने पत्रकारों से बातचित करते हुए किया।

The ABPS to be held till Sunday March 18 of 2012 at Dr Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan, Reshambhag, Nagpur in which major issues of national interest will be discussed.

Representatives elected from RSS-Shakhas of all regions of the country, state level office bearers of RSS, National office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivar) organizations are attending all the three days of the meeting.
From Karnataka, senior RSS functionaries K Suryanarayana Rao, Mai Cha Jayadev, N Krishnappa, S Ramanna, Mangesh Bhende, DM Ravindra, Gopal, Mukunda, Dr Prabhakar BhatTippeswamy, Kajampady Subramanya Bhat, Prof BV Sridhar Swamy and several others are participating this 3 day conclave.

प्राकृतिक स्रोतों पर जनता कानागपुर : १६ मार्च २०१२ :देश के प्राकृतिक स्रोतों पर सर्वप्रथम जनता का अधिकार है और इन स्रोतों का दूसरे कारणों के लिए प्रयोग करने के पूर्व यह अधिकार कायम रहेगा इसका ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिए, इस दृष्टि से अखिल भारतीय प्रतिनिधि सभा प्रस्ताव लाएगी, ऐसी जानकारी रा. स्व. संघ के सहसरकार्यवाह श्री दत्तात्रय होसबळे ने, प्रतिनिधि सभा में चर्चा में आने वाले संभाव्य प्रस्तावों के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए दी।
पत्रपरिषद में उन्होंने नैसर्गिक स्रोतों में से पानी का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि, देश की जनता को पीने के लिए स्वच्छ और शुद्ध पानी मिलना चाहिए। यह जनता का अधिकार है। आज अधिकांश नैसर्गिक पानी अशुद्ध और प्रदूषित हुआ है। उसे शुद्ध और प्रदूषणमुक्त बनाना यह तो प्राथमिक आवश्यकता है ही; लेकिन यह पानी विकास के लिए औद्यौगिक या अन्य व्यावसायिक कामों के लिए देने के पूर्व, इस पानी पर जनता का अधिकार है, यह बात मान्य होनी चाहिए और उसके अनुसार निर्णय होने चाहिए। पानी संकट काफी गहरा है। उसमें पर्यावरण का प्रश्न भी है। सब को शुद्ध जल पीने के लिए मिलना चाहिए तथा कृषि एवं कारखानेके लिए भी जल की उपलब्धता जरूरी है। ऐसे मे प्राकृतिक संसाधनों पर जनता का अधिकार बना रहना चाहिए। इस विषय पर अ.भा. कार्यकारी मंडल की बैठक में चर्चा हुई, ऐसी जानकारी देते हुए उन्होंनेब ताया कि, उसी के अनुसार एक प्रस्ताव प्रतिनिधि सभा में आने की संभावना है।
विविध समस्याओं के संदर्भ में जनता की कुछ मांगे हो सकती है। वह मांगे अयोग्य है, ऐसा कोई नहीं कहेगा। लेकिन, उन्हें मान्य करते समय उसमें क्षुद्रराजनीति नहीं होनी चाहिए। ‘एक राष्ट्र, एक जन’ इस भावना से उन मांगों काविचार होना चाहिए, ऐसा संघ का मत है। इन मांगों के बहाने समाज को तोडने का प्रयास होता होगा तो इसे चलने नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए। इस दृष्टि से प्रतिनिधि सभा, राष्ट्रीय एकात्मता मजबूत रखने का आवाहन करनेवाला एक प्रस्ताव भी पारित करेगी, ऐसी जानकारी उन्होंने दी।
स्वामी विवेकानंद का १५० वा जयंती वर्ष २०१३-२०१४ में बड़े पैमाने मे और गंभीरता से मनाने की संघ की योजना है। इस दृष्टि से इस वर्ष में आगामी वर्ष के कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा निश्चित की जाएगी। इस संदर्भ में प्रतिनिधि सभा में विस्तृत चर्चा होगी, उस संबंध में प्रस्ताव भी पारित होगा, ऐसा उन्होंने कहा। इस हेतु अ. भा. स्तर पर स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्ध शताब्दी समारोह समिति गठित होनेवाली है। उसके अंतर्गत विविध कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जायेगा।
स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचार आज भी कैसे प्रासंगिक है, इसकी जानकारी जनता को दी जाएगी। उसी प्रकार भारत का नवनिर्माण, महिला सक्षमीकरण, प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों के विचार एवं चिंतन भारतकेंद्रित करना इत्यादी के बारे में स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचारों के अनुरूप कार्यक्रमों की योजना की जाएगी। देश के गरीब, दलित, उपेक्षित लोगों के उद्धार के बिना भारत का नवनिर्माण होना संभव नहीं, यह विवेकानंद के विचार लोगों में, प्रमुखता से युवकों में प्रसारित करने पर अधिक जोर दिया जाएगा, ऐसा उन्होंने बताया। इस सार्ध शती महोत्सव में समाज के विविध लोग भी कार्यक्रम ले सकते है। उनको साहित्य, कार्यकर्ता एवं किसी अन्य मदद की आवश्यकता पडी तो समिति उनको मदद करेगी।
संघकार्य के विस्तार संबंधी चर्चा करते हुए आपने कहा की अरुणाचल में जो कार्यक्रम हुआ उसमें 500 स्वयंसेवक गणवेष में थे। और सरसंघचालकजी वहॉं पर उपस्थित थे। दक्षिण तमिलनाडु के कन्याकुमारी में 17 हजार स्वयंसेवक थे और करीबन 50 हजार लोगों ने इस कार्यक्रम का आनंद लिया। संघ कार्य का विस्तार हो रहा है। इस विस्तार और गुणवत्ता के बारे में प्रतिनिधि सभा में चर्चा होती है।

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) favored a properly balanced utilization of natural resources in the wake of new wave of privatization and liberal economic policies. The ongoing Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of RSS is likely to adopt a resolution on this aspect, informed Sah-Sarkaryawah Sri Dattatreya Hosabale here on Friday.
Hosabale was interacting with the mediapersons at Reshambag premises today morning after the formal inauguration of the ABPS by Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat and Sarkaryawah Sri Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi by lighting the traditional lamp in presence of 1400-odd representatives gathered from across the country.
In response to a question Hosabale said that the Sangh was in favor of holistic, integral model of economy for the country. Economy based on such a model would consume less energy, create more job opportunities, and would not propagate the establishment of SEZs. He reminded the journalists that the RSS had adopted a resolution to this effect five years ago. However, time has come to have a rethinking on this policy in the changed scenario, the RSS functionary said. The resolution expressed the view of balanced growth and opposed the totalitarian approach. The RSS believed that the government has to play a limited role in regulating the economic activities and protect the rights of the people, he explained.
Replying to a question on live-in relationship Hosabale clarified that the RSS believed that this concept which originated from consumerist ideology was against human civilization and harmful to society as it would affect the family unit which formed the bedrock of our social structure. "The Sangh prefers and wants living together and not live-in relationship", he clarified.
To overcome the loneliness in old days one should devote one's time to social service activities, he said citing examples of Gurukul in Chitrakoot started by the late Nanaji Deshmukh and Vatsalya Gram of Didi Ma Ritambhara at Vrindavan. Engaging in service activities would take away the feeling of lonliness he added.
On role of organizing secretaries in the BJP, who are generally RSS pracharaks, Hosabale said that they are entrusted the task of building the organization of the party. They seldom interfere in the functioning of the government, he clarified. In reply to another query the RSS functionary said that Hindutva and politics were two different things. No party in India today could claim to be the party of the followers of only one religion. All Indians, irrespective of their religions and castes can be accommodated in the political party. The BJP had taken decisions in the interest of the country in the past and the tradition still continues, he added while explaining the entry of Catholics in Goa BJP or pact with Muslim League corporators in Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
Stating that the ABPS would adopt two resolutions during the three-day deliberations, he said that one resolution would come in form of an appeal to right-thinking people to come forward to thwart any attempts of dividing the society in the name of language, boundary dispute or water sharing disputes and taking advantage of the situation for political power. The other resolution would concentrate on judicious use of natural resources like water and appeal to the government to frame policies keeping in mind the rights of the people over these resources.
Explaining the scope of Swami Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary to be celebrated during 2013-14 under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra of Kanyakumari, Hosabale said that the programs would stress the relevance of Swamiji's thoughts in present times in respect to youth, dalits and rural populace, women's education and empowerment, and injecting nationalism in the society. For this massive training program of activists would be organized and literature would be published for distribution, he added. Plans are afoot to involve social organizations in this year-long program, he added.
Referring to service projects run by RSS swayamsevaks he said that there are 150,000 service projects being run in the fields of education, healthcare, economic self-dependence etc. throughout the country. The RSS activists were always at the forefront in case of natural calamities like the recent earth quake in Sikkim, and permanent service activities through Youth for Sewa or Cow-protection, or family counselling etc. The ABPS would take a stock of these service projects and deliberate on expanding the dimensions of these projects for creating a network.
Giving an example of Parivar Prabodhan program, he said that on one single day of January 28 1.25 lakh families participated in "No TV Day" program conducted once in a week. They devote their time in reading, social service or interacting with each other and other friends and family members, thus injecting them the social outlook.
Besides, the ABPS would also discuss the summer training camps of RSS. This year 71 such camps would be held in entire country in which 15-16000 swayamsevaks are expected to participate.
Massive programs were held in the recent past showing the strength and expanse of the RSS work in the country. One such remarkable program was held in Arunachal Pradesh in which over 500 swayamsevaks in full uniform participated. RSS chief Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat attended that program. Another such big program was held at Kanyakumari in which 17000 swayamsevaks from Soutuh Tamil Nadu participated and 50,000 general public attended the function. The ABPS would take stock of the situation in the country vis-a-vis Sangh work and its expansion, Hosabale added.

असल में पैसे का यह गणित रुपये में बदलते ही 10 से 25 फीसदी बढ़ोतरी में तबदील हो जाता है, जिसका बोझ उठाना आम मुसाफिरों के लिए आसान नहीं। रेल मंत्री के सामने आर्थिक बोझ तले दबी रेल को उबारने की चुनौती थी, जिसका परिचालन और आय का अनुपात 95 फीसदी तक जा पहुंचा है। इस साल उसे 84.9 फीसदी लाए जाने की बात उन्होंने की है, मगर इसके लिए ठोस उपाय नजर नहीं आए। उन्होंने सुरक्षा और आधुनिकीरण पर खासा जोर दिया है, जिसके लिए पहले ही दो उच्च स्तरीय कमेटियां गठित की जा चुकी हैं। लेकिन यदि सुरक्षा की बात करें, तो निराशा होती है।
रेल यात्रियों को ट्रेन के भीतर भी खतरा है और बाहर भी, ऐसे में सिर्फ चंद स्टेशनों को हवाई अड्डे जैसा चमकदार करने से बात नहीं बनेगी। रेल मंत्री ने मानवरहित लेवल क्रांसिंग खत्म करने का वायदा किया है, लेकिन अनिल काकोदकर समिति की मानें, तो इन्हें खत्म करने पर 50 हजार करोड़ रुपये खर्च करने होंगे। रेल मंत्री ने किराया बढ़ाने का जो कदम उठाया है, उससे तो सिर्फ 4,000 करोड़ रुपये की अतिरिक्त आय होगी! दूसरी ओर माल भाड़ा जब चाहे, तब बढ़ा दिया जाता है।

समस्याओं पर हल ढूंढते समय लोगों में दूरियां निर्माण ना हो : मनमोहन जी वैद्य
नागपुर, १५ मार्च २०१२: देश के विविध प्रांतों में जल, राज्यों की सीमाएँ, भाषा आदि विषयों पर से कई विवाद हैं। इनसे स्थानीय लोगों में नाराजी भी हो सकती है, परंतु इन समस्याओं पर हल ढूंढते समय इन लोगों में मनमुटाव और दूरियां निर्माण ना हो, इस बात को ध्यान रखना जरूरी है, और इसी संदर्भ में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ की अखिल भारतीय प्रतिनिधी सभा एक प्रस्ताव लाएगी, यह जानकारी संघ के अखिल भारतीय प्रचार प्रमुख डॉ. मनमोहन जी वैद्य ने आज यहाँ दी।
राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ की सर्वोच्च निर्णय संस्था मानी जाने वाली अखिल भारतीय प्रतिनिधी सभा की बैठक कल, शुक्रवार १६ मार्च से नागपुर में शुरू हो रही है। यह बैठक तीन दिन चलेगी। इस बारे में जानकारी देने के लिए आज, इस बैठक के पूर्वसंध्या पर शाम ५ बजे डॉ. मनमोहन जी वैद्य ने एक पत्रकार परिषद को संबोधित किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि, हर तीन साल में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरकार्यवाह का चुनाव होता है, और यह इस बैठक का एक विषय यह भी है। संघ के सरकार्यवाह पद के चुनाव के बारे में पूछे जाने पर उन्होंने बताया कि, यह चुनाव १७ मार्च को होने की संभावना है। अगले साल भर में किए जाने वाले संघ के कार्यक्रमों के बारे में भी इस बैठक में चर्चा होगी और उचित निर्णय लिए जाएँगे। वर्ष २०१३-१४ यह स्वामी विवेकानंद जी का सार्ध जन्मशताब्दी (१५० वी जयंती) वर्ष है। इस पूरे साल में कई कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जानेवाला है, जिसके लिए एक समिती का गठन भी किया जा चुका है। इन कार्यक्रमों की सिद्धता के बारे में भी इस बैठक में विस्तार रूप से चर्चा की जाएगी। कन्याकुमारी स्थित विवेकानंद केंद्र के नेतृत्व में ही सार्ध जन्मशताब्दी वर्ष के सारे कार्यक्रम किए जाएँगे, यह भी उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया।
देश की नदियाँ आपस में जोडने के संदर्भ में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हाल ही में केंद्रीय सरकार को निर्देश दिए है, इस ओर ध्यानाकर्षण करते ही डॉ. वैद्य ने बताया कि, उस विषय पर भी इस बैठक में विचार विमर्श होकर उपरोल्लेखित प्रस्ताव में उसका समावेश किया जा सकता है। अखिल भारतीय प्रतिनिधी सभा के पूर्व, रा. स्व. संघ के अखिल भारतीय कार्यकारी मंडल की बैठक होती है, जो आज हुई, यह भी जानकरी उन्होंने दी।
इस प्रतिनिधी सभा के लिए पूरे देश से १४०० प्रतिनिधि नागपुर में आना अपेक्षित है, ऐसी भी जानकारी डॉ. मनमोहन वैद्य जी ने दी।

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s apex body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) is going to commence from March 16 in Nagpur. The press conference was organized on the eve to brief about the details of the proposed meeting.
The election for the post of Sarkaryawah is held after every three years. Accordingly it is going to be held this year, informed Dr. Manmohan Vaidya.
Informing that the discussion will also center on the programmes for the coming year, he said that the year 2013-14 is the 150th birth anniversary year of Swami Vivekananda. A number of programmes will be organized round-the-year to mark the occasion for which a committee has also been constituted. The preparations for all these activities will be made this year itself and the line of action for the same will be decided in this meeting. All these programmes will be conducted under the auspices of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
Supreme Court has recently directed the Central Government to take initiative regarding the river joining project. When asked whether the issue will be discussed in the meeting, Manmohan Vaidya replied that the discussion may take place.

Press Briefing by Dr. Manmohanji Vaidya
NAGPUR, MAR 15:
The three-day Rashtriya Swsayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) which begins here from March 16, is likely to adopt a resolution urging the good, sensible people to come forward to thwart a ny attempt to divide the society in the name of water sharing, language, boundary disputes etc.
This was disclosed by RSS All India Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya here at Reshambag today. Dr Vaidya was interacting with journalists on the eve of the three-day mega event of RSS in which over 1400 representatives drawn from all over the country, and senior functionaries of the organization are expected to participate.
Dr Vaidya said that it has been observed during the recent past that attempts were being made to divide the society and people in the name of water sharing or boundaryh disputes or languages. This would prove detrimental to the unitiy and integrity of the country. The RSS believes that we are one country-one people and as such would appeal to the sensible sections of the society to become pro-active and come forward and initiate steps to frustrate such attempts. He cited the attempts made by RSS activists in case of dispute over Mullaperiyar dam between Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the recent past.
Another issue that would be deliberated at length would be celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda during 2013-14 under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra. 2012 will be devoted for the preparations of this 150th birth anniversary programs on a national scale, he said. The umbrella body called Swami Vivekananda Sardhashati Samaroh Samiti would be formed to conduct the year-long celebrations, he added.
The ABPS will be electing a new Sarkaryawah of RSS for the next three year term, Dr Vaidya said adding that the election might take place on March 17 or 18th.
The meeting is being attended by senior functionaries of various organizations of the Sangh Parivar also.

आपने केरल और तमिलनाडु में मुल्लापेरियर डॅम के संघर्ष का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया की हमने दोनों पक्षों को एकत्र लाने का प्रयास किया है।
प्रतिनिधि सभा की बैठक प्रति वर्ष होती है। किन्तु जिस वर्ष सरकार्यवाहजी का चुनाव होता है, उस वर्ष नागपुर में बैठक होती है। यह चुनाव इस वर्ष 17 या 18 मार्च को होने जा रहा है।
2013 में स्वामी विवेकानंद की सार्ध शताब्दी है। उस संदर्भ में भी प्रतिनिधि सभा में चर्चा होगी। संपूर्ण वर्ष चलनेवाले इस कार्यक्रम हेतु स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्ध शताब्दी समिति का राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर गठन हो रहा है।

Nagpur: March 15: Some sort of grievances might be there among local people regarding issues such as water distribution, state borders, language, etc but due care must be taken so that the feeling of hatred and disintegration will not creep in among the masses. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is going to pass a resolution in order to avoid such extreme situation, informed RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya in a press conference on March 15.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s apex body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) is going to commence from March 16 in Nagpur. The press conference was organized on the eve to brief about the details of the proposed meeting.
The election for the post of Sarkaryawah is held after every three years. This election is also a major issue of this meeting, said Dr Vaidya.
Informing that the discussion will also center around the programmes for the coming year, he said that the year 2013-14 is the 150th birth anniversary year of Swami Vivekananda. A number of programmes will be organized round-the-year to mark the occasion for which a committee has also been constituted. The preparations for all these activities will be made this year itself and the line of action for the same will be decided in this meeting. All these programmes will be conducted under the guidance of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
Supreme Court has recently directed the Central Government to take initiative regarding the river joining project. When asked whether the issue will be discussed in the meeting, Manmohan Vaidya replied that the discussion may take place.
Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal’s meeting is held prior to the commencement of ABPS. This meeting was held on March 15, he elaborated.
Replying to a question about the election of Sarkaryawah, he said that the election may take place on March 17. Sarkaryawah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi will present the annual report after the inauguration of the meet on March 16 and will leave the charge. Election officer will then be appointed and the election process will begin. The newly-elected Sarkaryawah will take charge on March 18.
1400 representatives from all over the country are expected to attend the meet, he informed.
Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Nagpur chief Sudhir Pathak and Vidarbha Prant Prachar Pramukh Atul Pingale were present at the press conference organized at Reshimbagh Sanghsthan.

A comprehensive list provided by ‘Business Insider’ cites Sonia Gandhi, President of Indian National Congress as the 4th richest politician in the world. The article titled ‘Meet The 23 Richest Politicians In The World’ has taken reference from World’s Luxury Guide section of Die Welt, a German newspaper, which lists Sonia Gandhi fourth in the list, with assets of $2-19 billion.
“No one goes into politics to get rich, but politicians happen to be some of the wealthiest figures around the globe,” begins the article and proceeds to declare that Sonia Gandhi has assets worth $2-19 billion. “Gandhi is originally from Italy. She is the widow of Rajiv Gandhi, the assassinated former prime minister. As leader of the Congress party, Gandhi played a key role in reviving the party’s fortune and power.”
The article gives a list of the richest politicians in the world, whose names are derived from local officials and US Congress members to royal heirs and foreign ministers. King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz with an asset of $21 billion finds himself numero uno in the list. The last in the list is US Senator John Kerry, with a networth of $181-$281 million.
Savitri Jindal, another Indian figures at number 7, with networth of $13.2 billion. She is the Member of Legislative Assembly in Haryana. Residing in India, she is one of the richest Indian women and serves as a non-executive board member of OP Jindal, the steel and power conglomerate and family heirloom run by her sons.
Others in the list include Michael Bloomberg, Asif Ali Zardari, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Wu Yajun, Silvio Berlusconi, Vladimir Putin, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Darrell Issa, Sebastian Pinera etc.

Annual meeting of Akhil Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha(ABPS), highest body for policy formulation and decision making of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be held on March 16, 17 and 18 of 2012 at Dr Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan, Reshambhag, Nagpur

Prominent leaders from Bharateeya Kisan Sangh, working for the farmers; Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, a tribal welfare organization; Akhil Bharateeya Vidyarthi Parishad, one of the biggest student organization of the contry; Bharateeya Mazdoor Sangh, a leading trade union; Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a forum of Sadhus, Sants and Pontiffs; Bharatiya Janata Party, one of the two most important political parties of India; are attending the meeting.

Reports of activities of all these organizations will be submitted in the meeting. State wise activities of the RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting.
More than 1200 Social workers of different walks of life from nook and corners of the country will be participating in the meeting.
Last summer in 2011, the ABPS was held at Puttur of Southern Karnataka.

Bhubaneswar, March 05,2012.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, the national convenenor of J&K Study Centre, a Jammu based workgroup on Jammu and Kashmir affairs, Arun Kumar has emphasized the need of deeper understanding and change of perception on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
Contrary to popular perception in the country that J&K is a separatist state, he said, out of a total geographical area of 1lakh 1 thousand lakh sq. kilometers of area 86 thousand sq. km area comprising of Ladakh and Jammu have never ever seen an anti-Bharat protest or demonstration so far.
Whatever anti-Bharat protest that we are seeing on the media are confined to only Kashmir valley comprising of 15thousand sq. km area. Which bears the testimony to the fact that a false perception has been created that the whole of J&K is seeking separation and the people are against Bharat.
Adding further to his tantalizing facts, he further said that even the leaders of separatist voice in the state are all confined to Kashmir Valley, and represent only the Kashmiri speaking Sunni Muslims, a small sect of the population in the valley. The Shia and Gujjar Muslims who comprise 12% and 18% have never vented anti-Bharat views, neither any separatist leader have come up from these two sections.
It is a Irony that whenever any public discussion takes place in any of the platforms, these separatist leaders, representing a minority view, project themselves as the sole representatives of the people’s voice in Kashmir.
He, in his address, said that the general perception on Kashmir today is dominated by myths i.e. plebiscite, special status in Art. 370 and dispute over its accession, perpetuated by vested interests and international conspiracies.
He called for a deeper study of the issue through the milestone documents which are all in the public domain with objective and proper interpretation.
Elaborating further on the issue, Kumar said that PoK, legally, historically and constitutionally belongs to Bharat and from strategic considerations, both security and economic, Bharat should make all out efforts to get back this territory from Pakistan’s occupation and there is a favourable opinion among the people of this region to come back to India as they have been badly exploited by Pakistan from all angles.
On Art -370, a much discussed issue in the academic and intellectual circle, he made it clear that the article originally was purported to be in effect for a temporary period of time and the constitution still is clear about it. But, massive frauds have been committed behind the cover of this article and there is a need to abrogate this provision, which is possible through a simple presidential order.
