A book titled Chalo Delhi, written by Indian National Army Major Dr Hans Raj Sharma, was unveiled by former Vice-Admiral SH Sharma of Indian Navy at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here on Monday.
The book was released at a function marking the Laxmi Panda Memorial Lecture held on the occasion of her 5th death anniversary. The book reflects the battle diaries of Sharma, who was a doctor in Netaji’s Azad Hind Fauz and carries a vivid firsthand account of the battle and its aftermath.
Sharma exalted the role of INA in the Indian freedom struggle and related his experiences of the World War II. Former Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture Dr Bimalendu Mohanty also highlighted the role of INA in the freedom movement and lamented the eroding values of patriotism among the present youths.
Kshatriya Sangathan Sachiv of the Akhila Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana Kamlesh Dash stressed on the need to know the genuine history of the nation. He assured that the Itihas Sankalan would take up the task of documenting the role of the unsung freedom fighters of Odisha.
The Laxmi Panda Memorial Lecture, with the topic of Laxmi Panda:Forgotten Soldier of a Lost Army, was delivered by Anil Dhir. He gave a brief note on how Panda’s struggle lasted for 60 long years.
Dhir, who has done research on the INA, has found that as many as 1,550 Odias had served in Netaji’s Azad Hind Fauz and many of them lost their lives. The survived 900 too had not been given their due recognition and almost all of them died unsung.
Dhir has also been campaigning for setting up a suitable memorial for these bravehearts, who selflessly served for the cause of their motherland. He called upon the State Government to take steps for setting up a proper study group to research on the contribution of Odias in the INA and the Indian freedom struggle.

MP Congress appeals Governor to withdraw cases against minority
In yet another attempt to woo the Muslim vote bank ahead of the November 25 Assembly poll, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee sought Governor Ram Naresh Yadav’s intervention in withdrawing cases registered against members of minority community during recent communal clashes in some cities.
The incident comes days after Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde issued a directive to all Chief Ministers to ensure that no youth from Muslim community is unduly detained.
In a memorandum to Governor, the chairman of minority cell of State Congress, Mohammad Salim said the cases were slapped at the behest of ruling party members.
Communal clashes were reported in recent past in Manasa, Neemuch and Indore cities.
Making accusations, Salim told reporters that a report by the Congress probe panel found that the persons belonging to minority community were framed by police on orders from some BJP members.
He also demanded adequate compensation to those affected in these incidents and release of those booked and arrested by police.

Slaughter laws leave Muslims worried

Slaughter laws leave Muslims worried

Ashwin Shulapaksha 5, Kaliyug Varsha 5115
MARGAO: The the Muslim community in the state is worried about how to fulfill their qurbani (sacrifice of an animal as an offering) obligations as mandated by Islam. Their apprehensions are following the laws in force preventing the slaughter of animals anywhere but at the Goa Meat Complex (GMC) abattoir at Usgao, and the high court imposing several conditions on animal slaughter at the GMC abattoir. Qurbani is performed on the day of Bakri-Id which will be observed on October 14 or 15 this year.
"The ritual of qurbani has been going on in Goa for the last many years and we had never faced any problems from other communities. As qurbani is mandatory in our religion, we urge the state government to make arrangements for qurbani for no more than three days at a designated place in South Goa," Shaikh Saidi, a businessman from Margao, said.

Strict action should be taken against those indulging in cow-slaughter - Cunning, shallow talk by Hussain Dalwai

Strict action should be taken against those indulging in cow-slaughter - Cunning, shallow talk by Hussain Dalwai

Strict action should be taken against those indulging in cow-slaughter on the occasion of Eid, and Hindus should cooperate ! – Cunning, shallow talk by Hussain Dalwai
Mumbai – Few fanatic elements are purposely indulging in cow-slaughter on the occasion of Eid despite ban on cow-slaughter in Maharashtra, in order to create enmity between Hindus and Fanatics. Congress M.P. Hussain Dalwai demanded that strict action should be taken against such fanatics. This demand is made by him with the Chief Minister Pruthviraj Chavan and Home Minister R.R. Patil. (If Dalwai really thinks on these lines, why no effective efforts were made by him to enforce strict ban on the cow-slaughter, despite his knowledge that thousands of cows are slaughtered not only on the day of Eid but also on other days ? What is the need now for merely making such hypocritical appeals ? – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat) He also further said that Hindus should cooperate in this regard. (Thief calling police ! Since Hindus are tolerant, they always extend their cooperation to Fanatics for celebrating Fanatic festivals. However, during Hindu festivals, Fanatics incite riots by turning aggressive. When this is apparent, Dalwai has only insulted Hindus by giving them such an advice. Alternatively, Dalwai’s statement may mean that Hindus should remain peaceful in the event of arrest of Fanatics while indulging in illegal cow-slaughter or transport of cows, bullock etc. ! O Hindus ! Realise the cunningness of the Fanatic leader and unite to establish Hindu Rashtra. - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat)
On this occasion, He also said that few fanatic organisations were trying to spoil friendly relations between Hindu and Fanatics by offering sacrifice of cows during Eid.

Allahabad HC bans immersion of idols in Ganga, Yamuna

Allahabad HC bans immersion of idols in Ganga, Yamuna

October 9, 2013

Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court on Monday imposed a ban on the immersion of idols of Gods and Goddesses in Ganga and Yamuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh. The court also dismissed the plea of the state government that the idols would be immersed and then fished out.
The HC bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice Arun Tandon asked the state government to ensure a blanket ban on immersion of idols. The court gave these directives while hearing a petition on Ganga pollution. During the hearing, the counsel of the petitioner Sudhanshu Srivastava informed the court that the district administration, despite several reminders, had failed to make adequate alternative arrangements for the immersion of idols in Ganga. The counsel of the state government while admitting this requested the bench to allow the immersion of idols this season and that they would be taken out immediately. The court, however, refused to yield and asked the state government to also ensure that within a year, the rivers of the state are free from any immersion activity. The court had earlier asked the UP State Pollution Control Board to monitor the water quality before and after the immersion of idols. The report submitted before the court had revealed that the water quality had suffered immensely after the immersion of idols. Rivers in the state are used thrice for immersion – first at the end of the Ganpati festival and then twice after Navratra’s.

Hindu Munnani strongly condemns the acts of district administration

Hindu Munnani strongly condemns the acts of district administration

Hindu Munnani under the leadership of Sri Rama Gopalan Ji called for a protest demo against the Ramanathapuram district administration’s anti-Hindu activities.  The protest demo has been banned by the Government. Sri Rama Gopalan, Sri Kuppuramu Ji were arrested along with Hindu Munnani volunteers.

Ramanthapuram: Hindu Munnani Founder Secretary Shri Ramagopalanji’s letter to the Press
The Anti-Hindu Ways of the Ramanathapuram District Administration Machinery and the Growth of Islamic Jihadic Terrorism

1.      The Jihadic Terrorists who killed Salem Auditor Sri Ramesh and Sri Vellaiappan of Hindu Munnani were captured by the police after gun battle. Hindu Munnani appreciates the daring efforts of the Tamilnadu Police and congratulates them.
2.       Police officer Sri Lakshmanan has been severely injured in this operation and is recuperating. HM prays for his speedy recovery and wishes him to join back for duty at the earliest.
3.       The AIADMK government when it captured the Islamic terrorists Police Fakruddin, Panna Ismail and Bilal Malik all Islamic organisations have condemned the activities of the government. Inspite of the Islamic organisations raising their voices against the government why is it that the AIADMK secretary of the Minority Wing Sri Anwar Raja from Ramanathapuram not condemned the Islamic Organisations.
4.       When the district secretary of Ramanathapuram BJP Murugan was killed, even though it was well known that Islamic terrorists killed him, the government machinery out of fear stopped with saying that it was due to enmity in real estate. Now with the arrest of the 3 terrorists who have acknowledged their role in the killing of Murugan, it has become clear of the cover up that the police in Ramanathapuram has done. Hindu Munnani strongly condemns the attitude of the local police and urges the government to punish the police officers.
5.       In the last 4 assembly elections only Muslims have been elected as MLAs. It is well known that the present MLA Jawaharullah was part of the now disbanded Al-Ummah and SIMI. With this situation, the government machinery is in total collusion with these Jihadist elements. The police force in fact is afraid of Jawaharullah who has terrorist antecedents.
6.       DSP Muralidharan and Inspector Ganesan have been hand maidens of the terrorist MLA and the Jihadist elements.
7.       Even in just concluded Vinayakar Chathurthi celebrations, the 2 police officers have blatantly taken over the vinayagar celebrations at several places and have immersed the idols in the thick of night. Even the traditional Processions taken in traditional paths in the month of Aadi have been changed by these police officers to pander to the Jihadi elements.
8.       It is felt by all the Hindus that DSP Muralidharan and Inspector Ganesan have links with the Islamic Jihadi Terrorists and have been currying favours with them.

Hindu Munnani strongly requests the State Government to take action against these people.

The Forgotten Promise of 1949″

The Forgotten Promise of 1949
 by Vidya Subrahmaniam.
Please find below a rejoinder to the same. While there are too many issues that the author has raised, we would stick to her attempts to malign the RSS since that his her core contention. At the face of it, it seems that she has taken Jairam Ramesh’s recent statement that the 2014 elections will be fought between the Congress and RSS seriously.
The article begins with the attempt to force a commitment on RSS that it ‘made’ – “The RSS wrote a non-political role for itself as part of an undertaking it gave Sardar Patel. The overt political role it has assumed in 2013 is a breach of that agreement and its own constitution”
The facts :
1. Firstly, it must be remembered that Mahatma Gandhi himself wanted the Congress to be disbanded. In the The Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi — Volume 90, Gandhi says “Though split into two, India having attained political independence through means devised by the Indian National Congress, the Congress in its present shape and form, i.e., as a propaganda vehicle and parliamentary machine had outlived its use.” What must be first questioned is the breach of trust of Mahatma Gandhi by Nehru. Nehru and company conveniently brushed Gandhi aside and continued with the propaganda vehicle,i.e. Congress into Independent India trying to crush all opposition that came their way.
2. Patel was one of the first persons to ask RSS to merge into the Congress and join politics. This was immediately after Independence. It was Guruji Golwalkar who politely refused saying that there are many ways of serviing the country and RSS has no intention to join politics. This is much before the “so-called 1949 promise” Vidya refers to.
3. Nehru was indeed a politically insecure person. Refer his many attempts to sideline strong leaders and movements. If the Congress indeed coerced RSS into such a commitment, does it not reveal their political insecurity? Which law justifies the ban and coercion of RSS other than Nehru’s insecurity with growing influence of RSS?
4. Nehru’s audacity in 1949 stood corrected when he invited RSS for Republic Day parade and having convinced himself that RSS is not a political rival – that alone remained his insecurity after all. And that alone remains the insecurity of anti-Hindu establishment in India today.
The Hindu writes : “The governments of 1977-1979 and 1998-2004 became possible only because the RSS agreed to keep out of sight.”
The Fact : The possibility of the 1977 government was owing to the Lok Sangarsha Samiti and the RSS backing it. Over 80,000 swayamsevaks went to jail against the Indira Gandhi imposed emergency. The fall of it had everything to do with the party in power distancing itself from RSS.
It must be remembered that the Jan Sangh members left the Janata Party because they were informed that they cannot be a member of the Janata Party if they are also members of RSS. The then leaders of Jana Sangh refused to give such a commitment and decided to give up political office and later formed the BJP. To assume that the leadership of BJP can be maneuvered shows the lack of understanding of the author regarding the relationship of RSS and BJP. Whenever the BJP leadership has asked the RSS leaders to offer some suggestions , they are willing to do so. In fact, even if any other political party asks suggestions , the RSS is willing to offer it.
The author then goes back to 1948-49 when RSS was banned without legal validity. While having to concede the fact that RSS had nothing to do with Gandhi murder, Nehru-Patel’s antagonism to RSS coming down in the form of a ban is legitimized with vague allegations: “Then Sarsanghchalak Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar pleaded not guilty and Patel himself was clear that the RSS was not involved in the assassination. He said this in his February 27, 1948 letter to Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and reiterated it later too. However, Patel was strong in the belief that the Sangh’s “violent” ways contributed to the climate in which Gandhiji was killed.”
Does this author think the country does not know the “violent” situation of 1945-50 in the subcontinent and that RSS rose in *defense* of Hindus during what can be easily the most violent period of India in the last century? Does this author think that India is still in 1949 when you can hoodwink people by appealing to peace in wake of unprecedented frauds on Hindus such as the partition? Does the author not think the country today, at least with the benefit of information coming out in spite of congress propaganda, knows that violence was not created but limited and fought by RSS & HMS?
Does this author think the country can still be fooled by saying RSS contributed to violence and that justifies a ban on RSS instead of those who actually partitioned the country and were responsible for half a million deaths during riots?
And look at the audacity: “On November 14, 1948, the Home Ministry held by Patel issued a press note which said Golwalkar wanted the ban lifted without agreeing to the government’s demand that the RSS reform itself.”
‘reform’ to what? To stop being a potential threat to Nehru’s power? Could anyone, including Nehru, establish any of the serious charges such as quoted:
that the activities carried on in various forms and ways by the people associated with the RSS tend to be anti-national and often subversive and violent and that persistent attempts are being made by the RSS to revive an atmosphere in the country which was productive of such disastrous consequences in the past”.
The dishonesty of the author is more than visible, because the author hides the fact that Nehru actually made a U-turn and praised RSS in his later days. Gandhi praised RSS in his life time and Nehru’s realization was around his own 1962 debacle. During the Prime Ministership in 1963, RSS participated in the 1963 Republic Day parade. I do not see any articles that The Hindu brings out, to this effect. Reason? Obvious, isn’t it?
Leaving all this, the author slights the intelligence of readers assuming they do not know the fact that ‘political role’ and politics in India is legitimized after India became a republic in 1950, and that congress itself gets its legitimacy as a political entity after that.
The bottom-line of course, can be guessed –
“The RSS has gone back on the promise to keep off politics.”
And as mentioned, this is a crib that rises from the insecurity of cong-commie-media losing their fiefdom. There is no locus-standi to demand that RSS should keep off politics. It is a lie that RSS turned political – its activity remains socio-cultural, and the extent to which these are directly affected by politics it cannot remain aloof.

But a reader with humor cannot miss being pleased at the level of insecurity of those who had been anything but truthful and had been active causes behind today’s plight of the country.  “The Hindu”, keep them coming!

Unanimous decision to work jointly for establishment of Hindu Rashtra taken in a meeting of pro-Hindus held at Zajjar (Haryana) : Participation by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Zajjar (Haryana) : In a meeting of pro-Hindus held at Jassor Khedi town through the medium of local devout Hindu Shri. Kishan Arya, a resolve was made to work jointly for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. In this meeting, activists of Arya Samaj, Patanjali Yogapith, Bharat Svabhiman Sanghatana, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other staunch pro-Hindu young activists from Zajjar district numbering 70 were present. Shri Arya said, ‘Harm caused to Hindus during last hundreds of years was minimal as compared to that caused by Congress party in last 67 years. Now, the time has come for us to forget our post, party and organisation, and fight by coming together and work for Dharma on the basis of a common programme.’
Shri Chandrabhan from Rajasthan said, ‘Rani of Zansi created history at the tender age of 23; however, today’s youth only drink Bournvita and go to sleep. Nothing will be achieved by taking out candle marches. Today, the society needs ideological revolution ! Swami Vivekanand had said that whenever politics errs, Dharma corrects it. Today, only Modi publicly declares himself as nationalist Hindu. In past, Bharat used to guide the entire world, but today, the time has come for Bharat to seek guidance for itself. The solution to overcome this situation is to have one to one bonding.
Later, Shri. Daivash Redkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti appealed participant Hindus to unite.

Flex explaining importance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Flex explaining importance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Do Hindus find anything objectionable in the above banner ?

Owing to anti-Hindu rulers, anti-Dharma police are prohibiting Hindus from putting up banners on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Today, those who are against the banners, may tomorrow prohibit Hindus even from talking about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Establishment of Hindu Rashtra, is therefore, necessary to bring about change in such situation !
Mumbai : ‘Flex’ banners explaining importance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were displayed in one city outside Sanatan Sanstha’s ashram. Police, however, forced to remove those banners giving excuse that who would take its responsibility if the banners were damaged in the night and permission was not taken for displaying them. (Is it Hindustan or Pakistan ? If police start opposing display of banners on importance of Shiva Chhatrapati because of whom, today we are able to live as Hindus, then it is a sign of Mughal regime in Bharat rather than democracy ! It is the responsibility of police to protect the banners. Instead of doing their duty, police who force to remove such banners, will be asked to undertake rigorous spiritual practice by way of punishment in Hindu Rashtra! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
1. A pro-Hindu organisation was to take out an ‘awareness march’ in one city in early morning during Navaratri festival. Banners explaining importance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were put up outside Sanatan’s ashram in private place on the previous night to welcome the march.
2. A policeman saw and raised objection to the banners and informed the concerned police station by calling up his seniors.
3. Immediately a senior police officer and two policemen reached there. The senior police officer asked seekers that who would be responsible if the banners were damaged in the night. He asked seekers to take responsibility of the banners by keeping one seeker on guard whole night. The seekers told him that banners would be removed as soon as the march passes by the ashram on the following day. Even then police took objection. Finally, they told seekers to remove the banners in the night and put them back in the morning. As such, the banners were removed at 1.30 a.m. and placed outside on the next day early morning. (Have police ever opposed fanatic Muslims in this manner ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
4.  On the following day, police visited early in the morning. As the march taken out by pro-Hindu organisation reached near ashram, seekers welcomed the march. Police took pictures of the march along with banners.

China slowly intensified aggression along LAC

China slowly intensified aggression along LAC

October 8, 2013
Ashwin Shuklapaksha Chaturthi, Kaliyug Varsha 5115
The People Liberation Army of China has been following a consistent policy of transgressing into Indian territory — more particularly in the western and eastern sector since 2008-09 to serve their strategic interest of protecting its Xinjiang and Tibet from external aggression.
Disclosing this, the former special director of the Intelligence Bureau R.N. Ravi told this newspaper that internal assessment of the government agencies have estimated a lose of nearly 2,000 sq km area of Indian territory to China.
Asserting that India has been following the policy of “living in denial” since the Nehru days, Mr Ravi said that China has also succeeded in its objective of keeping its border with India undefined for strategic reason of capturing more Indian territory of its geopolitical interests.
Pointing out that China has transgressed over 10 km within Indian territory in the North sub-sector of the western sector of the Indo-China border, Mr Ravi said: “It has also escalated aggression in the eastern subsector along the tri-junction with Burma in Tatu Bowl-Dichu area in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh.”
Claiming that Chinese aggression is visible more since 2008-09, Mr Ravi, who was dealing with the affairs of Indo-China border for 20 years said: “India was losing its land constantly to China but government was not sharing the truth.”
Though, Shyam Saran committee visited to assess the situation, Mr Ravi said: “Indian citizens of Ladakh are also losing their economy due to aggression of China. This is what I have seen for myself in a recent visit this year to border villages of Ladakh. All these ground realities are kept under the carpet deliberately.”
Narrating the developments along Indo-China border, Mr Ravi said: “Since 2009 Chinese Army intruded into our territory in the eastern sector over 100 times. In 2011 alone, they breached the LAC over 125 times.”
The China has escalated its aggression in the eastern sector tri-junction which falls along the flow of Lohit river as it enters from Tibet and joined by two tributaries — Dichu and Wach Chu. The Lohit river flows into India at this point through a gap in a mountain which is known as Madan Ridge. At this point Madan Ridge forks into two spur.
Pointing out that the McMahon Line is along the northern spur but the Chinese have built a road, in 2009-2010, up to the base of the southern spur, way within the Indian territory, Mr Ravi said: “India has also stopped sending its patrol up to Dichu river since 2009 silently.”
Regretting that China built a 20 km motorable road along Jeevan Nallah in 2010 and 15 km long motorable road along Raki Nallah from JAK II to GR 626516 in 2011 — both on the Indian side in the Depsang Plain — Mr Ravi said that even smaller nation like Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei have been challenging China’s territorial hegemony but not India.
Admitting that Chinese became more aggressive to fortify its volatile Uighurs population of Xinjiang province from any external aggression, Mr Ravi said that China was also not comfortable with the activities of Tibetans in exile. Apart from aggression along the border, China has also started taking interest in the insurgency of northeastern states flourishing from Burma, he said adding that the obvious objective is to mount pressure on India.

CDLBF: Bandh to demarcate the border fencing in Manipur

CDLBF: Bandh to demarcate the border fencing in Manipur

The Committee on Protection of Land in Border Fencing, Manipur (CDBF) called for a 12-hour statewide Bandh on 7th October.  The bandh has been called by the Committee after the State Government of Manipur had turned down the former's ultimatum served to it.
The Committee had urged the Government to give a positive answer to the boundary issue by September 27 last however it has turned a blind eye to it. CDLBF has been demanding the Government for a re-survey of the Indo-Myanmar boundary so that a clear demarcation can be carried out for erection of fencing. India shares a 349 km long border with Myanmar. On the Manipur section of the border, the Pillar Numbers 32-48 falls under Churachandpur district, Pilllar Numbers 49-89 are in Chandel district and Pillar Numbers 90-130 in Ukhrul district.
CDLBF has maintained that a total of 43 villages inhabited by about 2,969 households numbering about 18,000 people on the Manipur side will be affected by the Indo-Myanmar Border Fencing.

The Public Innocence and the Media mischief on sleeper cells of terrorists

The Public Innocence and the Media mischief on sleeper cells of terrorists
The innocent villagers of Puttur Andhra Pradesh were shocked when they came to know that Al-Ummah terrorists wanted by police had lived in hiding in their midst for the last six months.  It may be pointed that two suspected murderers of Tamilnadu BJP Auditor Ramesh and Hindu Munnani State Secretary Vellaiyappan were arrested by Tamilnadu police last week from Puttur.  This experience of Puttur village residents is the same in every other village in every state.  That is, people are dangerously innocent.  A few weeks back, published a news item in a five column heading lamenting that house owners in Coimbatore (a den of terrorists’ hideouts) refused to rent out their houses to Muslims. While the general public is innocent such a jarring note from Media only goes to misguide and confuse the public.

Politics divides, culture unites

Politics divides, culture unites
A tone per day of very fragrant, fresh flowers including Tulsi and Lotus is supplied to Lord Balaji of Tirupathi for all the ten days of Brahmotsavam during the second week of October. This is the offering by a voluntary organization in Tamilnadu namely Pushpa Kainkarya Sabha of Palani in Dindugal District.  If one remembers that politics was setting fire to peaceful life in Andhra over Telungana issue this balming effort on the cultural front will stand out as something wonderful. While politics divides, culture unites. Another instance in the same pattern is the several tones of flowers of various colors that Tamilnadu’s Kanyakumari District offered to Onam celebrations during September in Kerala.  Flower arrangement in public places is an integral part of Onam and the Tamilnadu flower market was only too happy to meet the demand from the Kerala devotees. Again, across the artificial borders of States it is the culture acts as a bond uniting people in a very auspicious mission.

Hindus of Naduvakuruchi village in Thoothukudi District descended on the police station and demanded a case to be filed against one Thaayappan a Christian preacher.  The preacher had vilified idol worship of the Hindus in a very bad language during his lecture in the CSI Church in the village precisely when a deepa puja was in progress in a nearby Ganesh temple.  Earlier, a prominent Hindu person had asked the police Inspector to get an apology from Thaayappan; the police officer promised to do but failed to do so.  Thaayappan escaped to Chennai.  So the Hindus of the village led by activists forced the police department to file a case against the Christian preacher.  In the meantime, a petition was filed in the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court seeking not to grant bail to the offender in this case by leading Hindu advocates.
