National executive election of Vidya Bharati was held today at Cuttack on the closing occassion of 3days meeting. Dr Sharma was the former vice-president of Vidya Bharati. P.Ramakrushna Rao, Binod Khaitan, B P Khandelwal, and Dr Renu Mathur elected as vice-chairman , Narendra Jeet Singh Rawal as General Secretary ,Sriram Orarkar,Abhinit Bhatnagar, Dilip Betkekar and Anima Sharma as Secretary, Prasad Chandra Gupta as Organising Secretary ,Jatindra Sharma, G.M. Kashipati as Deputy Organising Secretary , Jainapal Jain as Treasurer and Brahmadev Sharma as adviser of Vidya Bharati. An educationist from each state are included in the national executive. The national conference was convened from 3rd April to 5th April 2010 at Keshab Dham, Gatirout Patna , Cuttack

In the closing ceremony Dr Sharma presided over the meeting. International chief of Kriyayoga Ashram Pragyannandaji Maharaj and RSS Saha-Sara Karyabaha Dattatreya Hoswale also spoke on the occasion.

National executive election of Bidya Bharati. was held today ay Cuttack on the closing occassion of 3day national conference. Dr Sharma was the former vice-president of the organisation. P.Ramakrushna Rao, Binod Khaitan, B P Khandelwal, Dr Renu Mathur became the vice-chairman while Narendra Jeet Singh Rawal elected as MahaMantri or General secretary of the organisation. There is an educationist member from each state in the national executive. The national conference was started on 3rd April at Keshab Dham, GatiroutPatna, Cuttack.

Dr Sharma presided in the closing ceremony. International chief of Kriyoga Ashram Pragyannandji Maharaj deliver the speech. RSS Saha-Sara Karyabaha Duttatreya Hoswale was the chief speaker. He told that the students came out from the school of Bidya Bharati joined in the source of patriotism to make their nation prosporous in the world.

BHUBANESWAR(visakeo)-4th APR: Naxals strike police & security personnel again before the green hunt operation started. This time they targeted a bus carrying SOG men in Koraput district today. In this landmine blast more than 10 security personnel were killed and a no of securitymen injured. This incident occured at about 14 km from Baipariguda town when a group of the state's Special Operation Group were going in three vehicles. It is expected that the casuality may go up. Last week naxals striked a patrolling party of policemen in Gajapati district. 3 jawans were killed in firing by naxals & 5 policemen were seriously injured.

शाना बनाए जाने से 10 सुरक्षाकर्मी शहीद हो गए और 3 घायल हो गए।

पुलिस डीआईजी संजीब पांडा ने बताया कि नक्सलियों ने बायपारीगुडा कसबे से 14 किलोमीटर दूर उस समय एक बारूदी सुरंग विस्फोट किया जब बड़ी संख्या में विशेष अभियान समूह (एसओजी) के सुरक्षाकर्मी 3 वाहनों में सवार होकर वहां से गुजर रहे थे।

पांडा ने बताया कि नक्सलियों ने एक बस को विस्फोट से उड़ा दिया। वाहन पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो चुका है। कम से कम 10 सुरक्षाकर्मियों की मृत्यु की पुष्टि हो चुकी है। मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है। इस हमले में कम से कम 3 लोग घायल भी हुए हैं।

राज्य का आधे से अधिक हिस्सा नक्सल प्रभावित है। राजधानी भुवनेश्वर से करीब 500 किलोमीटर दूरी पर स्थित कोरापुट जिले को नक्सलियों का गढ़ माना जाता है।

आज सारे भारत में यूपीए सरकार के प्रति रोष उभर कर सामने आ रहा है जो नीति कभी मुस्लिम बादशाहों नें हिन्दुओं के लिए अपनाई थी वही नीति यूपीए सरकार केवल अपना वोट बैंक पक्का करने के लिए अपने ही निर्धन भाइयों का गला काट कर अपना रही है. हिन्दू कुशाग्र बुद्धि के होते हुए भी अगर निर्धन हैं तो वह शिक्षा के अभाव में चाहे भटके, इससे सरकार को कोई मतलब नहीं, किन्तु अल्पसंख्यक नाम का ठप्प लगे हुए मुसलमान विद्यार्थियों का पूरा-पूरा ध्यान रखते हुए चाहे वह मंद बुद्धि का है उसके लिए छात्रवृत्तियों के भंडार खोल दिए हैं. हाल ही में हिन्दुओं को सुविधाओं से वंचित रख अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए २५ लाख छात्र्वृत्त्यों की घोषणा की गई है. क्या जम्मू-कश्मीर, अरुणाचल जैसे कई स्थानों में हिन्दू अल्पसंखक नहीं हैं. क्या सरकार ने उनके बारे में कभी कुछ सोचा है? भारत में लाखों युवक बेकारी की हालत में रोजी रोटी को तरस रहे हैं और जो अल्पसंख्यक आतंकवादी आकाओं की छत्रछाया में सीमा पर बैठे हैं उनका भारत में आने पर चिदम्बरम द्वारा स्वागत किया जा रहा है.

A BRIEF REPORT ABOUT THE MURDER OF SRI MURTHY, A HINDU MUNNANI ACTIVIST ON 27.02.2010.

On the morning of 27th Feburary 2010 around 1000 a.m., Sri Murthy, an Hindu Munnai activist was brutally murdered by some Muslim fundamentalists. It was a planned murder carried out in order to create terror among the residents of Pudur locality of Gnayaru Village of Sholavaram area and thereby forcibly take possession of 64 cents of land belonging to a Hindu trust. The genesis of this is as detailed below:
A Baba by name Sarveswar came to this village long time back, lived and attained samadhi. He propogated the Sarveswar mantra to the people. One of his close disciples was Smt.Gajalakshmi, wife of one Sri Govindaswamy Naidu. She was instrumental in building a Samadhi for the Baba and also gave away all her wealth for the worship of the Baba by creating a Trust in his name. Her son Sri Semadri is the present trustee.
Everybody in this locality knew that this Baba was a Hindu and he propogated the Sarveswar mantra. However, 10 years back, a group of muslims in order to take control of the property of the trust spread the rumour that the Baba's real name was Shahkinsha Baba and that he was a Muslim. They forcibly occupied the Samadhi and started threatening the local Hindus.
The dispute went to the police and local court and it was clearly ruled that the Baba was a Hindu and the disciple who built a samadhi in his name was a Hindu and Hindus only offered worship there. In spite of this, the High Court gave a verdict that both Hindus and Muslims have an equal say in the worship in the said place.
It is pertinent to point out that for some years there has been an influx of Muslim fundamentalists to this area and forcible conversion of many women to Muslims by abducting them from various places. This has been brought to the notice of the local police now and then. The people of this locality also came to know that some fundamentalists Muslims belonging to Melapalayam of Madurai and Tirunelveli have frequently visited this place, stayed here and carried out various crimes.
Amidst this background, on 27.02.2010, when Sri Murthy (39 years), who was a member of the Sarveswar Baba Committee and a Hindu Munnani activist, came out of the Temple of Sarveswar Baba after worship and lighting a lamp, was burtally murdered by Muslim fundamentalists in broad daylight. The sister of Sri Murthy told that Sri Murthy had informed her a few days before the murder that he has been receiving death threats from Muslims and that they are hatching plans to kill him.
The local people strongly suspect that such fundamentalist activities are encouraged and supported by Yasim Ali, an Adocate of Madras High Court, Sri J.M.Haroon, an M.P., of Tenkasi and Sri H.Haroon.

New Delhi, Mar 4 (ANI): The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday charged the Naveen Patnaik-led government in Orissa of plundering the state's mineral wealth to the tune of over Rupees three-lakh crores.


Buzz up!Naba Kishore Das, the General Secretary of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, said, "The Naveen Patnaik Government has misused the funds and we demand a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the alleged scam.


Das, who is also an MLA from Jharsuguda also wrote a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and later met her in this regard.

"We briefed her on the entire issue. Sonia Gandhi has said that she would look into the matter with some seriousness," he added.

Further lashing out at the Patnaik Government, Das said mine owners have been using Fake Transit Passes on a large scale and transporting minerals worth thousands of crores from Orissa.

"The State Government has permitted traders to print their own Transit Passes, resulting a massive losses to the Government by unethical use of such Transit Passes," he added.

"Despite powers under Section 23C of amended Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation (MMDR) Act 1957, the State Government has not taken steps to check illegal mining, illegal transportation and storage of minerals, claimed Das adding that government inaction has led to mineral extraction way beyond permitted quantities.

Das said despite the State Government signing Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with big private firms, Orissa is still poor and locals experience huge difficulties due to the export of iron ore fines from Keonjhar and Sundargarh Districts.

"Out of the total 621 mines in Orissa, the lease for around 200 mines are over, but still they are run," he claimed.

Durjyodhan Gerdia, who is an MLA from Rengali, said, "We demand strict action against all ministers in the Naveen Patnaik Government and ask for stringent steps to be taken against all perpetrators involved in the scam."

Orissa holds a prominent place in mineral resources with large deposits of major and miner minerals and the receipts from it constitute the largest source of non-tax revenue of the state. By mit Shankar (ANI)

BHUBANESWAR: While the steel project of Posco is hanging fire due to stiff resistance from the public over land acquisition, the BJP today announced its support to the farmers of Angul and Dhenkanal districts opposing acquisition of agricultural land in the Rengali right canal command area for independent power projects (IPPs).


Three senior leaders of the party - KV Singhdeo, Bijay Mohapatra and Dharmendra Pradhan - questioned the rationale of acquiring over 3,000 acres of agricultural land in the command area of Rengali Irrigation Project after an investment of about Rs 1,700 crore in the project. While the Government had taken loan from the World Bank to complete 79 km of the right bank canal, it is negotiating with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for additional loan to complete the right canal.

Of the four IPPs coming up in the Rengali right bank canal command area, the private land requirement of GMR Energy is 1,030 acres. Substantial portion of the private land has been handed over to the company which proposed to set up a 1,000 MW power plant at Kamalanga in Dhenkanal district.

However, 40 civil suits pertaining to village Kamalanga have been pending in the court of Dhenkanal civil judge court, Singhdeo said.

The Government has issued notification for acquisition of 1,104 acres of private land for the 1,320 MW Lanco Power Project at Badabandha, 1,002 acres for the 1,040 MW power plant of Navbharat Power at Khadaprasad and 882 acres for CESE Ltd at Neulapoi all in Dhenkanal district.

The acquisition of agricultural land in the command area of the Rengali right canal will defeat the purpose of the irrigation project which was conceptualised in the seventies to irrigate over 84,000 hectares of land in Angul, Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts, the BJP leaders said.

Resentment is brewing in the villages to be affected by the power projects and the situation may turn explosive, they cautioned.

Responding to a query, Singhdeo said his party was not opposed to industrialisation but will not support the Government so far as acquisition of fertile agriculture land is concerned.

“BJP stand committed to protect the interests of the farmers,’’ he said and added that his party will oppose tooth and nail the anti-farmer policy.

The party will take up the issue in the ensuing session of the Assembly, they added.

HASSAN: Minister for Wakf and Minorities Welfare Mumtaz Ali Khan has called upon Muslims in the State not to oppose the Bill banning cow slaughter.
The Minister said he too would not oppose the Bill as only 30 per cent of Muslims consumed beef. Moreover, the Bharatiya Janata Party Government was committed to improve the lot of the minorities, even though they had been used as vote-bank by the Opposition, he said.
Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday, Dr. Khan said the State Government was committed to providing financial assistance to all those who stood to lose their livelihood following the Government’s decision on the ban. The Minister said that Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa would increase the allocation for minorities welfare from Rs. 186 crore to Rs. 300 crore. The funds would be used for the overall development of minorities in the State, he said. The literacy rate among Muslims would also be increased to help them secure employment, he said.(THE HINDU)

I am not Khan. My name bears a different set of four letters: K A U L. Kaul. As those who know Indian names would understand I happened to be born in a family which was called Hindu by others. Hence, we were sure, we would never get a friend like KJ to make a movie on our humiliations, and the contemptuous and forced exile from our homeland. It's not fashionable. It's fashionable to get a Khan as a friend and portray his agony and pains and sufferings when he is asked by a US private to take off his shoes and show his socks. Natural and quite justifiable that Khan must feel insulted and enraged. Enough Masala to make a movie.
But unfortunately I am a Kaul. I am not a Khan.
Hence when my sisters and mothers were raped and killed, when six-year-old Seema was witness to the brutal slaughtering of her brother, mother and father with a butcher's knife by a Khan, nobody ever came to make a movie on my agony, pain and anguish, and tears.

we look at our own selves as Kauls, we also see a macabre dance of leaders who people Parliament. Some of them were really concerned about us. They got the bungalows and acres of greenery and had their portraits were worshipped by the gullible devotees of patriotism But unfortunately I am a Kaul. I am not a Khan.

I saw the trailer to this fabulous movie, which must do good business at the box office.There was not even a hint that terror is bad and it is worse if it is perpetuated in the name of a religion that means Peace. Peace be upon all its followers and all other the creatures too.So you make a movie on the humiliation of taking off shoes to a foreign police force which has decided not to allow another 9/11.
The humiliation of taking off the shoes and the urge to show that you are innocent is really too deep. But what about the humiliation of leaving your home and hearth and the world and the relatives and wife and mother and father? And being forced to live in shabby tents, at the mercy of nincompoop leaders encashing your misery and bribe-seeking babus? And seeing your daughters growing up too sudden and finding no place to hide your shame?
No KJ would ever come forward to make a movie, a telling, spine-chilling narration on the celluloid, of five-year-old Seema, who saw her parents and brother being slaughtered by a butcher's knife in Doda. Because her dad was not Mr Khan. He was one Mr Kaul.
Sorry, Mr Kaul and your entire ilk. I can't help you.
It's not fashionable to side with those who are Kauls. And Rainas. And Bhatts. Dismissively called KPs. KPs means Kashmiri Pandits. They are a bunch of communalists. They were the agents of one Mr Jagmohan who planned their exodus so that Khans can be blamed falsely. In fact, a movie can be made on how these KPs conspired their own exile to give a bad name to the loving and affectionate Khan brothers of the valley.
To voice the woes of Kauls is sinful. The right course to get counted in the lists of the Prime Minister's banquets and the President's parties is to announce from the roof top: hey, men and ladies, I am Mr Khan.

The biggest apartheid the state observes is to exclude those who cry for Kauls, wear the colours of Ayodhya, love the wisdom of the civilisational heritage, dare to assert as Hindus in a land which is known as Hindustan too and struggle to live with dignity as Kauls. They are out and exiled. You can see any list of honours and invites to summits and late-evening gala parties to toast a new brand. All that the Kauls are allowed is a space at Jantar Mantar: shout, weep and go back to your tents after a tiring demonstration. Mr Kaul, you have got a wrong name
A dozen KJs would fly to take you atop the glory - posts and gardens of sympathies if you accept to wear a Khan name and love a Sunita, Pranita, Komal or a Kamini. Well, here you have a sweetheart in Mandira. That goes well with the story.
And you pegged the movie plot on autism.
I wept. It was too much. I wept as a father of a son who needed a story as an Indian. Who cares for his autistic son, his relationship with the western world, his love affair with a young sweet something as a human, as someone whose heart goes beyond being a Hindu, a Muslim or a proselytizing Vatican-centric aggressive soul. Not the one who would declare in newspaper interviews: "I think I am an ambassador for Islam". Shah Rukh is Shah Rukh, not because he is an ambassador for Islam. If that was true, he could have found a room in Deoband. Fine enough. But he became a heartthrob and a famousl star because he is a great actor. He owes everything he has to Indians and not just to Muslims. We love him not because he is some Mr Khan. We love him because he has portrayed the dreams, aspirations, pains, anguish and ups and downs of our daily life. As an Indian. As one of us.
If he wants to use our goodwill and love for strengthening his image as an ambassador for Islam, will we have to think to put up an ambassador for Hindus? That, at least to me, would be unacceptable because I trust everyone: a Khan or a Kaul or a Singh or a Victor. Who represents India represents us all too, including Hindus. My best ambassadorship would be an ambassadorship for the tricolour and not for anything else because I see my Ram and Dharma in that. I don't think even an Amitabh or a Hritik would ever think in terms Shah Rukh has chosen for himself. But shouldn't these big, tall, successful Indians who wear Hindu names make a movie on why Kauls were ousted? Why Godhra occurred in the first place? Why nobody, yes, not a single Muslim, comes forward to take up the cause of the exiled and killed and contemptuously marginalized Kauls whereas every Muslim complainant would have essentially a Hindu advocate to take on Hindus as fiercely as he can
If you are Mr Khan and found dead on the railway tracks, the entire nation would be shaken. And he was also a Rizwan. May be just a coincidence that our Mr Khan in the movie is also a Rizwan
Rizwan's death saw the police commissioner punished and cover stories written by missionary writers. But if you are a Sharma or a Kaul and happened to love an Ameena Yusuf in Srinagar, you would soon find your corpse inside the police thana and NONE, not even a small-time local paper would find it worthwhile to waste a column on you. No police constable would be asked to explain how a wrongly detained person was found dead in police custody?
I am not Khan. My name bears a different set of four letters: K A U L. Kaul. As those who know Indian names would understand I happened to be born in a family which was called Hindu by others. Hence, we were sure, we would never get a friend like KJ to make a movie on our humiliations, and the contemptuous and forced exile from our homeland. It's not fashionable. It's fashionable to get a Khan as a friend and portray his agony and pains and sufferings when he is asked by a US private to take off his shoes and show his socks. Natural and quite justifiable that Khan must feel insulted and enraged. Enough Masala to make a movie.
Because the lover found dead inside a police thana was not Mr Khan. No KJ would ever come forward to make a movie on 'My name is Kaul. And I am terror-struck by Khans'.
Give me back my identity as an Indian, Mr. Khan and I would have no problem even wearing your name and appreciating the tender love of an autistic son.

Over 500 children are studying in a Roman Catholic School in Kallakurichi, Villupuram District. Construction work for the school expansion is going on. The school management made the students of 7th and 8th standards carry loads of bricks and sand. Moreover, the Paadri made the students bathe his pet dogs. When parents came to know about such ill treatment, they protested in front of the school.
