CUTTACK: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday expressed sorrow over the Hyderabad blasts which left 16 people dead and scores injured.
"The incident is very unfortunate. Serial blasts are taking place in the country but the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is not worried about it, instead he is busy making statements on 'Hindu terror' groups," said Bhagwat.
He said Shinde's remark is completely absurd and has no truth in it. His statement is political-motivated to woo a specific section of voters for the 2014 general elections.
Addressing a public meeting at Kala Vikash Kendra here, Bhagwat said the term 'Hindu terror' is being used to appease a section of people. "The statement is part of a well-orchestrated strategy to consolidate votes of a specific section in favour of the Congress. They will keep playing the card till 2014 elections," said Bhagwat. He further said the Sangh Parivar does not believe in violence and if the union government has any concrete information about the Sangh's involvement in terror attacks then instead of making allegations in public it should take legal action against it.
