BMS SLAMS CENTRE, STATE FOR ANTI-LABOUR POLICIES

Bhubaneswar,25/2-The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Jagatsinghpur district unit staged a demonstration in front of the Collector Office here on Wednesday pressing for fulfilment of a series of demands.

The body criticized both Union and State Governments for their several anti-labour policies and laws. “We demand minimum wage `15,000 per month for all workers, contractual employees, including scheme workers as Anganwadi workers, Mid-Day Meal cook, ASHA workers and para-teachers getting meager remuneration since years,” said Sangha secretary Akshay Kumar Das.

The members also demanded implementation of universal social security benefits and pension for all unorganized sectors, minimum wage of `500 for non-skill labourers, withdrawal of the Labour Law reforms, end to disinvestment in PSU and 100 per cent FDI in country and implementation of PF, ESI and other social security benefits for working classes.

Earlier, the Sangha members took out a rally from College Square to the Collector Office Parade Ground, where they held the protest meeting. Later, a memorandum was submitted to the district Collector addressing to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister.

Odisha SIMI arrests: ‘Accused planned blasts to avenge Muzaffarnagar riots

Police officials of different States and National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths have arrived in Odisha to grill the five operatives of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) while the Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch is grilling the arrested operatives at undisclosed locations here.

The STF has formed different teams to carry out the investigation process smoothly.

While a special team is engaged for quizzing the terror suspects, another one is looking after their security aspects.

A woman officer was also engaged to quiz the female terror suspect while all the suspects would be quizzed in three shifts, revealed a top police source.

On Thursday, the suspects had been interrogated in the presence of Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma and Crime Branch IG and STF chief Arun Bothra.

The STF has got the five SIMI operatives on a 13-day remand for interrogation which will end on March 1.

Besides, an NIA team has reached Rourkela and begun its investigations, sources revealed.

Meanwhile, a three-member team of the Madhya Pradesh police arrived at Nangamahal in Bhadrak, where the five operatives had taken a house on rent, and started investigation.

On Thursday too, CB Special DG Sharma along with his deputy Arun Bothra rushed to the rented house along with two of the arrested SIMI operatives

During raid, police seized SIMI magazine, a dongle, two mobile phones, a pen drive, and wires from the rented house.

Posing as carpenters, the suspects had stayed in the house. In November last year, they suddenly left the place after locking the room.

These activists of the banned outfit had escaped from the district jail in MP’s Khandwa in 2013 by scaling the jail’s 14-feet-high wall and police teams of multiple States were looking for them since them.

An eight-member STF team with the five suspects in its custody amid tight security had left Rourkela for Bhubaneswar and reached Bhubaneswar on Friday morning after getting them on a 13-day remand from the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court, Rourkela.

The SIMI activists Mehboob Khan, Mohd Salik, Amjad Khan, Zakir Hussain and Mehboob’s mother Najma Biwi were arrested from the Quereshi Mohalla of the Nala Road locality of Rourkela in the wee hours Wednesday after an exchange of fire with a joint team of Telangana and Odisha police.

SIMI operatives taken to Bhadrak, rented house searched

BALASORE: The Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) operatives spent eight months in Nangamahala area in  Bhadrak district, posing as small traders, before shifting to Rourkela. They had introduced the 60-year-old woman Nazma Biwi, mother of one of the four operatives, as a cook. The operatives were always reluctant to develop closeness with locals.

A three-member team of anti-terror squad from Madhya Pradesh and Special Task Force (STF) team of Odisha Police came across these facts after they raided the Bhadrak hideout and interrogated the house owner, Tajmul Hussain Khan alias Munu Khan and his neighbours.Along with two arrested SIMI operatives, Zakir Hussain and Md Saleq, the STF team, led by Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma and IG Arun Bothra, arrived at Nangamahala on Friday.After escaping from Khandwa District Jail in Madhya Pradesh in 2013 by scaling a 14-ft high wall, the four - Sk Mehboob, Amzad Khan, Zakir Hussain and Md Saleq - had come to Odisha. Nazma accompanied them after Mehboob, her son, was injured in an accidental explosion at Bijnaur while making bombs. Before landing in Bhadrak, they had stayed at Sunapalli in Sambalpur for some months.Sources said they had come here in June last year and took the house of Munu, a cattle trader, on rent for `1,400 per month. While the house was locked for the last one month, they returned a week ago to leave again with some valuables.“They posed as timber and fertiliser traders and the woman as cook. They used to leave the house in the morning and return home in the night while the woman remained alone in the house. They never interacted with anyone and never moved in groups. The four used to come to the market place one after another,” said a local, requesting anonymity.Bhadrak police detained Munu for questioning. Sources said he often visited West Bengal. The stay of SIMI operatives in Bhadrak assumes significance as the district houses a test facility of DRDO and the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur is just 85 km away.

SIMI Group's Bhadrak Safe House Traced

BHUBANESWAR: The four Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) operatives, who were arrested from Rourkela late on Tuesday night, have confessed to their role in the 2014 train blast at Chennai even as Odisha Police located a second safe house of the group at Bhadrak.

During their interrogation on Wednesday night, the Khandwa Module members of SIMI admitted that their fellow members Zakir Hussain and Md Aijazuddin had carried out the low-intensity explosions in Bengaluru-Guwahati Kaziranga Express at Chennai in which a lady IT professional was killed on May 1, 2014. On April 4, 2015, Aijazuddin along with another SIMI member Md Aslam was gunned down in a police encounter at Janakipuram in Nalgonda district of Telangana. The arrested operatives have, however, denied their role in the Patna blast.

In the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, a joint operation by multiple security agencies had led to arrest of four SIMI members - Sk Mehboob, Amzad Khan, Zakir Hussain and Md Saleq. Mehboob’s 60-year-old mother Nazma Biwi was also held from the hideout.

Even as anti-terror squads of Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra are set to quiz the terror operatives, State Police has found a second safe house. Though police had inputs about the hideout, it was finding it difficult to locate the exact place, sources said.

However, after their arrest on Tuesday, police traced the house in Nangamahala area of Bhadrak. The landlord was quizzed and shown pictures of the five whom he recognised, Special Director, Intelligence, Arun Kumar Sarangi said. The house is under lock and key and armed guards have been placed. Sarangi said, investigation revealed that the SIMI operatives maintained their hideouts at four places - Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Bhadark and Rourkela. After the Nalgonda encounter, they are believed to have fled to Kolkata and from there, to Ranchi.

“In Bhadrak, they would stay for seven to eight days and then move. About a month back, they told the landlord that they are were going for Nazma’s treatment. They did not go to Rourkela directly from Bhadrak. We believe they went through Ranchi,” Sarangi said.

The group was apparently looking for an opportunity to carry out a loot at neighbouring Chhattisgarh and move either to Bhadrak or Ranchi. Some documents and mobile phones have been found from the Bhadrak house. Meanwhile, the Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch of Odisha Police has taken over probe of the case. Since STF is mandated with all terror and jihadi related investigation, an eight-member team landed in Rourkela on Wednesday night.

Staging a mass demonstration in front of the Utkal University main gate here on Wednesday, activists of the ABVP city branch said such Left wing student unions carrying out anti-national activities should be banned and the students should be punished like Afzal Guru.

ABVP city coordinator Prabhudatta Samal said such incident can be dangerous for the nation in coming days. He called upon the student community to be united to root out such Left wing student force challenging the unity and integrity of the nation.

SIMI Agents in STF Custody, More Agencies to Join Probe

The Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch, which took over the investigation about the five suspected SIMI operatives arrested on Wednesday from Nala Road area here, took them on a 13-day remand on Thursday.

Though CB DSP and Investigating Officer (IO) of the case Tapan Kumar Mohanty moved the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court pleading for a 30-day remand, the court granted 13 days to the probe agency.

“As per the court order, the five accused will be produced again at the SDJM court March 1,” said Assistant Public Prosecutor Satya Sharma.

An eight-member team of STF led by STF chief and IG Arun Bothra has already started quizzing the five suspects at an unknown place.

DGP KB Singh said along with the STF, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and police from other states would interrogate the five arrested persons to unearth information about their terrorist activities across the country.

Prior to taking over of the STF, the Rourkela police had presented all five suspected SIMI operatives at the Panposh SDJM court and had got a seven-day remand.

Sources said, during this remand period, besides STF the police officials of other states like Madhya Pradesh, Telangena, Maharashtra, etc., would also interrogate these accused persons, since they are allegedly involved in series of crimes in these states.

Meanwhile, the Rourkela police on Thursday arrested one insurance agent, who was in question for extending support to these five suspected SIMI operatives by preparing fake documents like PAN cards and Voter Identity card, etc., for them.

“During interrogation, it was established that insurance agent Nabin Sahoo, who runs a Xerox shop had helped these accused persons in developing fake identity cards, with help of some forged documents. He was arrested on charges of cheating,” said western range IG RP Sharma.

Police also cordoned off a house rented by Zakhir in Nangamahal area of Bhadrak district to the five arrested persons a few months back.

A joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG), Telangana, Odisha police and Intelligence Bureau had on Wednesday arrested Mehboob Khan alias Guddu, Zakhir Khan alias Sadiq, Amjad Khan alias Dawood, Saliq alias Sallu and Najma (Mehboob’s mother) from a rented house in Rourkela. 

Odisha police start interrogation of five SIMI operatives

Rourkela,17/2-Five terror suspects, including a woman, with links to the banned Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were arrested on Wednesday from a rented house in Odisha’s Rourkela city area.

The suspects were arrested after an exchange of fire that lasted three hours between 1 am and 4 am in a thickly populated locality of the steel city, police said. A search of the house yielded three pistols, five guns and 11 rounds of live bullets. The operation was conducted by Odisha police in collaboration with Telangana police and the Intelligence Bureau.

The five arrested people were identified as Zaakir Khan, 32; Amjad Khan, 27; Md Salik, 32; Mehboob Khan, 27; and Mehboob’s mother Nazma Bibi, 55; all from Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.

The four men, who had allegedly fled from Khandwa jail in 2013, were on the National Investigation Agency’s most wanted list and had a reward of `10 lakh each on their heads.

The terror suspects rented the house claiming to be flower traders, and unsuspecting neighbours said they rarely saw the residents because the house seemed locked all the time. “After we heard sounds of firing, we came to know that some dreaded criminals were in our midst,” said a neighbour.

Odisha director general of police KB Singh said the alleged SIMI operatives were involved in terror activities in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. “They had taken shelter in Rourkela under fictitious names — with bank accounts, PAN cards and other papers under fake names. They were involved in at least 17 criminal cases including terror attacks, murder of policemen and bank robberies across the country,” Singh said.

The police linked the alleged SIMI members with several bank robberies, including one in Sundargarh district of Odisha in September last year, and were investigating their role in several train robberies.

According to reports, the arrested group looted `48 lakh from a State Bank of India branch in Karimnagar district of Telangana last year and killed two policemen while trying to escape. They also killed a policeman in Khandwa.

Salik was involved in a bomb blast in Badaun in Uttar Pradesh last year, according to the police, while several blasts in Chennai, Pune and Roorkee between 2014 and 2015 were also linked to the four arrested people.

The house in Rourkela was one of the many shelters across the country used by the group. “They hardly stayed together and were always on the move. Only Mehboob’s mother was staying constantly in the house. Her role in their terror plans is being investigated,” said a police officer.

Police arrests over the last one year have shed light on Odisha’s growing vulnerability to terrorism.

In January last year, a contractual photographer of the Integrated Test Range of the Defence Research Development Organisation in Balasore district was arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. Later, in November last year, Odisha police arrested Subash Ramchandran, a Tamil Nadu resident, for allegedly setting five train compartments on fire at the Puri railway station, and al-Qaeda operative Abdur Rehman was arrested from Cuttack district the next month.

Bhubaneswar,9/2The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has strongly condemned the State Government’s slipshod attitude towards the ongoing turmoil at the MKCG Medical College at Brahmapur.

ABVP activists have alleged that due to inadequate number of doctors, the existing doctors are working under much pressure. “We have been demanding opening of new medical colleges and increase in seat numbers. But the Government’s lackadaisical approach is responsible for not meeting the healthcare needs. This is also a reason behind the recent disorder at the MKCG College, where nine students have been arrested in an assault case,” the ABVP said.

Alleging that the medical students are deprived of their fundamental rights, the ABVP demanded an impartial probe into the MKCG incident.

The ABVP also threatened to launch a State-wide agitation if the students would not be given their fundamental rights, said ABVP State vice-president Dr Jyotirmay Nayak and secretary Abhilas Panda.

हिन्दू समाज ने हमेशा सभी को संरक्षण ही दिया है – सुरेश भय्या जी जोशी

कर्णावती (विसंकें). राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरकार्यवाह सुरेश भय्याजी जोशी ने कर्णावती (गुजरात) में आयोजित सामाजिक सदभाव बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हिन्दू समाज कभी भी विनाशकारी नहीं रहा है, इस समाज ने हमेशा सभी को संरक्षण ही दिया है. कालान्तर में हिन्दू समाज में कुछ दोष आ गए, क्योंकि उसे अपनी ही रक्षा में लगना पड़ा. इन दोषों में एक दोष जाति आधारित भेदभाव का आ गया. भेदभाव मिटाने का काम सामूहिक रूप से सभी के प्रयासों से संभव है. अगर समाज से जाति हट नहीं सकती तो भूलने की कोशिश करें और अगर भूलना भी संभव नहीं हो तो जाति के आधार पर भेदभाव बंद करना चाहिए.

उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक, राजस्थान से मणिपुर तक देश में रहने वालों में कुछेक बातें एक समान हैं. जैसे हिन्दू समाज के व्यक्तियों के नाम, बोली जाने वाली भाषा, धार्मिक ग्रन्थ, हमारे देवी देवता, तीर्थ यात्रा के स्थल, प्रेरणास्त्रोत महापुरुष आदि कोई भी जाति आधारित नहीं है. हम प्राणी मात्र में ईश्वर है, यह मानने वाले है. इसलिए समाज में गौ माता, नाग देवता, तुलसी, पीपल भूमि आदि सबकी पूजा बिना जातिगत भेदभाव के होती है. क्रांतिकारियों की जाति कोई पूछता है क्या ? तो फिर जाति आधारित भेदभाव क्यों ?

उन्होंने कहा कि समाज के सामने दूसरी बड़ी चुनौती सामाजिक न्याय की है. सामाजिक प्रश्न व सामाजिक समस्याओं का हल समाज के अग्रणियों को ही निकालना पड़ता है. सामाजिक समस्याओं के हल सरकार नहीं निकाल सकती. उदाहरण के तौर पर सरकार ने शराब बंदी का कानून तो बना दिया, परन्तु शराब का सेवन नहीं रुका. जब तक समाज में जागृति नहीं आएगी, तब तक यह कानून प्रभावी नहीं हो सकता. सरकार का काम सामाजिक समस्याओं को सुलझाने का नहीं है, वह नागरिक सुविधाएं प्रदान करना है.

सरकार्यवाह जी ने कहा कि तीसरी बड़ी चुनौती हमारे जीवन मूल्यों की रक्षा करना है. इसके लिए अपने यहां परिवार की व्यवस्था है. अपने यहां पहला गुरु मां को माना गया है. परिवार में ही बच्चे को संस्कार मिलते हैं. परिवार, कानून के हिसाब से नहीं चलता. माता पिता के कर्तव्यों में संतान को अच्छे संस्कार देना भी है, केवल सुविधाएं देना नहीं. अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन ही धर्म है. धर्म का मतलब पूजा पाठ करना आदि नहीं है. पिछले कुछ समय से अपने यहां कर्तव्यों की बजाय अधिकारों का स्मरण ज्यादा होने लगा है, जिससे अनेक समस्याएं खड़ी हो गयी.

परिवार प्रबोधन के लिए भय्याजी ने चाणक्य के सूत्रों की विवेचना करते हुए बताया कि पहला सूत्र महिलाओं को मां के समान मानना, दूसरा सूत्र पराये धन को मिट्टी समान मानना, तीसरा सूत्र यह मानना कि ‘जैसा मै हूँ वैसा तू है’ और इन सभी सूत्रों को देखने वाला, मानने वाला ‘हिन्दू’ है.

उन्होंने देश के सामने खड़े संकटों का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि  हिंसाचार, भ्रष्टाचार, दुराचार व मिथ्याचार से समाज को सुरक्षित करना है तो समाज में परिवर्तन लाकर ही किया जा सकता है, आधुनिक कालखंड में अधिकारों की चर्चा होती है, कर्तव्य की नहीं. समाज में परिवर्तन लाने के लिए अधिकार नहीं कर्तव्य का स्मरण कराना आवश्यक है और इसके लिए सरकार पर  निर्भर नहीं रहा जा सकता.

उन्होंने कहा कि अगर भारत में धर्म, संस्कृति व जीवन मूल्य नष्ट हो गए तो यह विश्व में सभी जगह नष्ट हो जायेंगे. इसलिए इन्हें सुरक्षित रखने के लिए व बड़े संघर्ष से निपटने के लिए हिन्दू समाज को संकुचित विचारों से ऊपर उठना होगा, उसे शक्तिशाली होना होगा, भेदभाव मिटाना होगा. तभी हम एक बार फिर गौरवशाली हिन्दू समाज बन पाएंगे व तभी विश्व का कल्याण होगा. कार्यक्रम का सञ्चालन संघ के प्रान्त कार्यवाह यशवंतभाई चौधरी ने किया. मंच पर पश्चिम क्षेत्र संघचालक डॉ. जयंतीभाई भाड़ेसिया, गुजरात प्रान्त संघचालक मुकेश भाई मलकान तथा गुजरात प्रान्त कार्यवाह यशवंतभाई चौधरी उपस्थित रहे. बैठक में गुजरात प्रान्त के विभिन्न जिलों से समाज / जाति संगठनों के अग्रणी प्रतिनिधि व बड़ी संख्या में प्रबुद्ध वर्ग उपस्थित रहा.

गौभक्तों को सांप्रदायिक कहने वाले माफी मांगें – विहिप

शिमला (विसंकें). चंबा में गोहत्या प्रकरण के बाद विश्व हिंदू परिषद पर प्रशासन की ओर से की गयी विवादित टिप्पणियों के विरोध में सोमवार को विहिप के नेतृत्व में विभिन्न गौभक्त संगठनों ने प्रदेश के 42 स्थानों से राज्यपाल को ज्ञापन प्रेषित किया. राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत को ज्ञापन उपायुक्तों, उपमंडल दंडाधिकारियों एवं तहसीलदारों के माध्यम से भेजा गया. विहिप के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष अमन पुरी ने कहा कि विहिप हिंदू संस्कृति के संरक्षण के लिए संकल्पबद्ध है. चंबा में गोहत्या की घटना के बाद प्रदेश पुलिस महानिदेशक द्वारा दिया गया वक्तव्य निंदनीय है, इसके साथ ही प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वीरभद्र सिंह का यह कथन कि विहिप द्वारा प्रदेश का सांप्रदायिक वातावरण बिगाड़ा जा रहा है, इसका भी पुरजोर विरोध करते हैं. प्रदेश में सरकार का गोहत्या पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाने में कमजोर दृष्टिकोण रहा है. प्रदेश में गोहत्या की घटनाओं में निरंतर वृद्धि हुई है. गौभक्त गाय को बचाने के लिए सड़कों पर उतर आए हैं. एक ओर तो मुख्यमंत्री कहते हैं कि प्रदेश में गौ तस्करी पर रोक लगाई जाएगी, दूसरी तरफ ऐसे लोगों पर कार्यवाही करने की अपेक्षा गौभक्तों पर सांप्रदायिकता फैलाने का आरोप लगाया जाता है. गौ तस्करों की हिम्मत बढ़ती जा रही है और प्रशासन द्वारा ऐसी घटनाओं पर चुप रहने की सलाह दी जाती है. अमन पुरी का कहना था कि अगर गौ संरक्षण के बारे में जन जागृति लाना सांप्रदायिकता है तो वे इससे पीछे नहीं हटेंगे. वे किसी भी कीमत पर गौ संरक्षण करेंगे, क्योंकि गाय भारतीय सनातन परंपरा का प्रतीक है. विहिप पर की गयी टिप्पणी पर अमन पुरी ने कहा कि गौभक्तों को सांप्रदायिक कहने वाले माफी नहीं मांगते हैं तो उनके विरूद्ध आंदोलन तेज किया जायेगा.

नागपुर (विसंकें). राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन भागवत जी ने कहा कि हृदय की करुणा और तपस्वी जीवन यही पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी का परिचय है. उनके द्वारा प्रतिपादित एकात्म-मानव दर्शन का रूप नया है, पर वह है पुराना ही. भारतीय मनीषियों के चिंतन का मूल तत्व है “एकात्म-मानव दर्शन”. सरसंघचालक जी डॉ. कुमार शास्त्री द्वारा लिखित “कारुण्य ऋषि” नामक पुस्तक के लोकार्पण समारोह में संबोधित कर रहे थे. सरसंघचालक जी ने कहा कि एकात्म-मानव दर्शन यह एक दर्शन है, यह कोई ‘इज्म’ या ‘वाद’ नहीं. इज्म संकुचित शब्द है. आप इज्म के दायरे को लांघ नहीं सकते, आपको इज्म के चौखट में रहकर ही अपना काम करना होता है, जबकि दर्शन व्यापक होता है. दर्शन हर काल में विस्तारित होता है और वह युगानुकूल स्वरूप धारण करता है. लेकिन हम दर्शन के मार्गदर्शन को छोड़कर पाश्चात्य विचारों का अनुकरण कर रहे हैं. इस कारण हमारे जीवन में विडम्बना दिखाई देती है.

भारतीय विचार मंच, नागपुर द्वारा शंकर नगर स्थित “साई सभागृह” में आयोजित लोकार्पण समारोह के दौरान मंच पर वरिष्ठ पत्रकार एवं विचारक मा.गो. वैद्य, मराठी साहित्यकार आशा बगे, गिरीश गांधी, लेखक कुमार शास्त्री तथा भारतीय विचार मंच नागपुर के संयोजक उमेश अंधारे उपस्थित थे. पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्या जी की जन्मशताब्दी के उपलक्ष्य में पुस्तक प्रकाशित रचना की गई. डॉ. मोहन भागवत जी ने कहा कि हमारे देश में चाणक्य नीति, विदुर नीति, शुक्र नीति बहुत पहले लिखी गई है, जो समाज का मार्गदर्शन करती आई है. लेकिन भारत का अपना कोई विचार था ही नहीं, हम जंगली थे, हम अंग्रेजों की वजह से सभ्य बने, ऐसा हमें बताया गया और हमने गर्दन हिलाकर उसे स्वीकार भी कर लिया और उसके बाद पाश्चात्य विचारों के अनुकरण का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया. स्वतंत्रता के पश्चात् इसमें कुछ बदलाव आएगा ऐसा लगा था, पर ऐसा हुआ नहीं. ऐसे समय में दीनदयाल जी ने एकात्म-मानव दर्शन देश के सामने प्रस्तुत किया. स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के पश्चात् हमारे देश का यह एकमात्र दर्शन है.

सरसंघचालक जी ने कहा कि सृष्टि के प्रत्येक घटक से हमारा सम्बन्ध है. इसलिए हम सबके कल्याण की कामना करते हैं, हम किसी के नाश की बात नहीं सोचते. हमारी अवधारणा है कि मूल तत्व एक है, पर उसकी अभिव्यक्ति भिन्न-भिन्न है. बाहर से दिखने वाली विविधता को स्वीकारते हुए भी हम सबमें एकात्म को निहारते हैं. यह हमारी विशेषता है. यह सनातन विचार युगानुकूल होता गया. इस सनातन विचार को हमारे मनीषियों ने समय-समय पर जन-जन तक पहुंचाया. स्वामी विवेकानन्द, रविंद्रनाथ टैगोर, लोकमान्य तिलक, महात्मा गांधी और योगी अरविन्द ने इस विचार को जन सामान्य तक पहुंचाने का कार्य किया.

उन्होंने कहा कि शरीर, मन, बुद्धि या व्यक्ति, समाज, सृष्टि अथवा अर्थ, काम, मोक्ष अलग-अलग नहीं है, वरन सबका एक-दूसरे से सम्बन्ध, सब एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं. इन सबको जोड़ने वाला तत्व है परमेष्ठी. मनुष्य के विकास के साथ ही समाज और सृष्टि का विकास अपने आप होता है, यह अपना विचार है. धर्म सभी विचारों का चिति (आत्म तत्व) है. अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष में समन्वय साधने का कार्य धर्म करता है. धर्म सबको अनुशासित करता है और सबका मार्गदर्शन भी करता है. इसलिए स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने कहा था कि भारत की चित्ति धर्म है, जब तक भारत में धर्म है, दुनिया की कोई ताकत भारत का बाल भी बांका नहीं कर सकती. आज साधन बढ़ गए हैं, पर मनुष्य के जीवन से सुख, शांति और आराम खो गया है. इसका कारण है संकुचितता. हम संकुचितता को छोड़कर अपने साथ परिवार, समाज, राष्ट्र और सृष्टि के कल्याण का भी विचार करें. समाज के अंतिम छोर पर खड़े व्यक्ति के प्रति गहन आत्मीयता को लेकर उसके विकास के लिए भी आगे आएं. यही पंडित दीनदयाल जी के एकात्म-मानव दर्शन का मूल है. पंडित जी ने केवल दर्शन ही नहीं दिया, वरन इस दर्शन को स्वयं जी कर दिखाया. उनके दर्शन से हमारे हृदय में भी समाज के अभावग्रस्त जनमानस के प्रति आत्मीयता जगे, यह आवश्यक है.

मा.गो. वैद्य जी ने कहा कि समाजवाद और कम्युनिज्म के दौर में पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी ने एकात्म-मानव दर्शन देश के सम्मुख रखा. समाजवाद अर्थ के उत्पादन और वितरण का साधन मात्र है, जबकि दीनदयाल जी का दर्शन व्यष्टि से समष्टि को जोड़ता है. वह समाज के अभावग्रस्त व वंचितों के प्रति आत्मीयता को जगाता है. जाति गरीब नहीं होती, मनुष्य गरीब होता है. इसलिए आरक्षण की समीक्षा आज समय की आवश्यकता है. उन्होंने कहा कि जिनकी दो पीढ़ियों को आरक्षण का लाभ मिल चुका है, उन्हें अपना आरक्षण छोड़ देना चाहिए. समृद्ध लोग लाभ न लें तो उसका फायदा वास्तविक पिछड़े लोगों को मिल सकेगा. अगर एक जिलाधिकारी का बेटा आरक्षण का लाभ ले रहा हो तो उस स्थिति में समाज का कल्याण कैसे हो सकता है ? वैद्य जी ने कहा कि सरसंघचालक डॉ. भागवत जी ने जब आरक्षण की समीक्षा की बात कही, तब उस पर बड़ा बवाल मचा. मगर वह बवाल सिर्फ राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए था. लेकिन आरक्षण की समीक्षा आज की आवश्यकता है.

हिन्दू समाज में ‘‘समरसता’’ संघ की प्राथमिकता – विमल जी

इंदौर (विसंकें). परम्परानुसार राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ द्वारा शाखाओं पर मुख्य रूप से मनाए जाने वाले छह उत्सवों में से एक ‘‘मकर संक्रांति’’ के निमित्त ‘‘प्रकट उत्सव’’ आयोजित किए गए. इन्दौर महानगर के बद्रीनाथधाम जिले (उत्तरी इन्दौर) के – वीर गोगादेव, दीनदयाल, विश्वकर्मा, माधव, अम्बेडकर व सावरकर 6 नगरों में प्रातः एवं सायंकाल ‘‘प्रकट उत्सव’’ आयोजित किए गए. इन्दौर विभाग के शेष नगरों में आगामी रविवार को कार्यक्रम होंगे. संघ में मुख्य रूप से सार्वजनिक एवं खुले स्थानों पर ही शाखाएं लगाने की परम्परा है तथा समाज के सभी आयु/जाति वर्ग के लिए खुला आमंत्रण होता है. कार्यक्रमों में दैनिक शाखाओं पर होने वाली गतिविधियों सूर्यनमस्कार, योग आसन, दण्ड संचालन, नियुद्ध, खेल, गीत, प्रार्थना का प्रदर्शन किया गया.

बद्रीनाथधाम जिले के माधव नगर में इन्दौर विभाग प्रचारक विमल जी का बौद्धिक हुआ. उत्सव प्रधान भारत का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि मकर संक्राति का विशेष महत्व है, प्रकृति में इस दिन परिवर्तन प्रारंभ होता है. इस दिन से दिन तिल-तिल कर बढ़ना प्रारंभ होता है. संक्रांति का अर्थ है, सम्यक दिशा में की गई क्रांति. समाज जीवन में परिवर्तन लाने के लिए अनेक दिशा में क्रांतियां हुईं. भगवान श्रीकृष्ण, श्रीराम, शिवाजी महाराज, चाणक्य आदि द्वारा की गई क्रांतियां, सम्यक क्रांतियां हैं. इसी प्रकार राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ द्वारा भी समाज जीवन में परिवर्तन लाने हेतु विभिन्न कार्य अपने स्थापना वर्ष से किए जा रहे हैं. हमारा विश्वास स्थाई परिवर्तन में है. क्रांतियों के चार चरण – विचार, योजना, संगठन एवं लक्ष्य होते हैं. संघ ‘‘हिन्दू राष्ट्र’’ के शास्वत विचार को लेकर चल रहा है. हमारा लक्ष्य राष्ट्र को परमवैभव पर ले जाना है.

संघ का लक्ष्य प्रारंभ से ही तिल-तिल में बंटे हिन्दू समाज को एक करना रहा है. विभिन्न जातियों में बंटे समाज में समरसता स्थापित कर संगठित करने का कार्य संघ परिवार द्वारा किया जा रहा है. 90 वर्ष में संघ ने हिन्दू समाज में आत्मविश्वास पैदा किया है. सत्ता परिवर्तन लक्ष्य न रखकर संघ ने समाज-संगठन एवं समाज-परिवर्तन को प्राथमिक स्थान दिया है. समाज परिवर्तन का कार्य लोगों को अपने घर परिवार से ही आरंभ करना होगा. विभिन्न जातियों में बंटे समाज में सामाजिक समरसता का भाव पैदा करना होगा. राजनीति अपने स्वार्थ हेतु समाज को बांटने का कार्य करती है. संयुक्त परिवार की परम्परा के दर्शन संपूर्ण विश्व में केवल भारत में ही होते हैं.

आधुनिकरण के कारण परिवारों में भी विखण्डन प्रारंभ हो गया है. संस्कारों का ह्रास हो रहा है, समस्याओं का समाधान परिवार से बाहर खोजा जा रहा है. पहले संयुक्त परिवार में ही समाधान हो जाता था. समाज में एकल परिवार की बढ़ती पद्धति ने समस्याओं को बढ़ावा दिया है. इसी कारण संघ द्वारा ‘‘कुटुम्ब प्रबोधन’’ पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है. समाज में हिन्दू विचार के विरोध में बढ़ती घटनाएं तथा विगत जनगणना के आंकड़े हिन्दू समाज के लिए चिंता का विषय हैं. हिन्दू समाज की घटती जनसंख्या दर राष्ट्र में असंतुलन पैदा करेगी, आने वाले 30 वर्षों में यहां का मूल समाज अल्पसंख्यक हो सकता है, यह सभी राष्ट्रवादियों के लिए गम्भीर चिंता का विषय होना चाहिए.

मजबूत राष्ट्र के लिए राष्ट्रभक्ति व राष्ट्रीय चरित्र मूल आधार – राम शिरोमणि जी

इलाहाबाद (विसंकें). प्रयाग विभाग संघचालक रामशिरोमणि जी ने कहा कि राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए राष्ट्रभक्ति और राष्ट्रीय चरित्र होना चाहिए. जिसका निर्माण राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ शाखा के माध्यम से कर रहा है. शाखा में प्रतिदिन आने से चरित्रवान व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण होता है. रामशिरोमणि जी रविवार को जार्जटाउन स्थित छत्रसाल शाखा के वार्षिकोत्सव के अवसर पर स्वयंसेवकों और उपस्थित नागरिकों को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे.

उन्होंने कहा कि अच्छे मानव के निर्माण में राष्ट्रीय चरित्र सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दु है. जिस तरह अच्छा रक्त शरीर को स्वस्थ रखता है, उसी तरह चरित्रवान मानव ही देश को स्वस्थ रख सकता है. शाखा में दुश्मनों से बचने के लिए नियु़द्ध भी सिखाया जाता है, जिससे वह किसी विषम परिस्थिति में बगैर हथियार से निपट सके और दुश्मन पर विजय पा सके. आततायियों को भगाने में कामयाब हो सके. सामूहिक शक्ति के लिए एक साथ चलना और एक स्वर में गीत का अभ्यास करके एकता का संदेश प्रवाहित किया जाता है. हमारा देश विश्व गुरू रहा है, लेकिन हमारे देश की संस्कृति को नष्ट करने के लिए अंग्रेजों सहित इससे पूर्व आने वाले आक्रमणकारियों ने संस्कृति को कमजोर करने का कार्य किया. परन्तु हमारे देश की संस्कृति इतनी मजबूत थी कि विदेशी शक्तियों को हारना पड़ा. हमारा देश विकासशील कहा जाता है. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ देश को परमवैभव पर ले जाने के लिये प्रयास कर रहा है.

उन्होंने कहा कि भारत देश सदैव हिन्दू राष्ट्र रहा है और वर्तमान में भी हिन्दू राष्ट्र है. लेकिन इसे हिन्दू राष्ट्र कुछ लोग नहीं मानते है और कहते हैं कि यह तो विभिन्न धर्मों का राष्ट्र है. लेकिन पुराण व वेद में यह उल्लेख है कि हिन्दू राष्ट्र होने के साथ ही कर्मों के आधार पर कई वर्ग के रूप में स्थापित रहा है. इस अवसर पर वार्षिकोत्सव में अध्यक्षता करते हुए कल्पनाथ पाण्डेय ने कहा कि हमारा देश विविधता होने के बावजूद भी एक सूत्र से मजबूत बंधा हुआ है. जिसे और मजबूत करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ शाखा के माध्यम से काम कर रहा है. एकल गीत दिव्यांश ने प्रस्तुत किया.

स्वयंसेवकों की सूझबूझ व बहादुरी से टला बड़ा हादसा

लुधियाना (पंजाब). लुधियाना में स्वयंसवेकों की सूझबूझ व बहादुरी के कारण बड़ा हादसा टल गया. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ पंजाब के प्रांत प्रचारक किशोर कांत जी ने बताया कि  लुधियाना स्थित जनकपुरी संघस्थान पर शाखा लगने से कुछ समय पूर्व लगभग 6.25 पर संघस्थान के बाहर पेड़ की ओट में खड़े एक मोटरसाइकिल सवार से अपने शाखा कार्यवाह नरेश जी ने पूछताछ की कि वह वहां क्यों खड़ा है ? उसने कहा कि किसी की प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है. तो शाखा कार्यवाह ने कहा कि अंधेरे में क्यों खड़े हो, उजाले में आ जाओ. उसकी मोटरसाइकिल भी बिना नंबर वाली थी.

कुछ ही देर में तीन-चार स्वयंसेवक और आ गए. इसी दौरान उस युवक का साथी भी चादर ओढ़े आया तथा पार्क के गेट पर नरेश जी से ही पूछा क्या तुम लोकल (स्थानीय) हो ? हां, कहने पर उसने चादर के अंद्र छिपाए रिवाल्सर से चादर हटाकर एक फायर किया. सजगता के परिणामस्वरूप कोई घायल अथवा चोटिल नहीं हुआ. स्वयंसेवकों तथा पार्क में आए अन्य लोगों के शोर मचाने पर दोनों युवक मोटरसाइकिल पर भाग निकले. एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति तथा एक स्वयंसेवक ने कुछ दूर तक उनका पीछा भी किया, लेकिन वे निकल गए.

घटना की सूचना मिलने पर विभाग प्रचारक सुमित जी तथा अन्य स्वयंसेवक तुरंत शाखा पर पहुंचे. पुलिस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी आस पास के सीसीटीवी कैमरों की रिकार्डिंग जांच रहे हैं. लगभग साढ़े दस बजे वह स्वयं (प्रांत प्रचारक) भी संघस्थान पर पहुंचे, उस समय तक सवा सौ स्वयंसेवक संघस्थान पर एकत्रित हो चुके थे. उन्होंने स्वयंसेवकों को सजग रहने, अफवाहों से बचने तथा हिम्मत से अपने संघ कार्य को को निरंतर बढ़ाने में अग्रसर बने रहने का आह्वान किया, तत्पश्चात सभी ने शाखा लगाकर संघ प्रार्थना की.

Sankalpa Odisha organized a seminar on issues, challenges in Power sector

Bhubaneswar, 15.01.16: Sankalpa Odisha, a group of intellectuals, has organized a seminar on issues, challenges and Possibilities in Power sector, Odisha at Hotel Swosti on Friday. Addressing a vibrant audience in the seminar Sri Hemanta Sharma, IAS, CMD OPTCL as chief guest highlighted various issues, challenges and possibilities in power sector of Odisha. He further said that though consumer base has been increased significantly during the last 3 years, the real problem we are facing is that the lack of technically skilled manpower. Prof. (Dr.) D.V. Ramana stressed more on electricity regulatory act and legal aspect. He urged that the consumer should well aware of the regulatory Act.

Other guest and speakers like Sri K.C. Badu IAS (Retd.), Sri Manoj Singh, Sri Bibhu Prasad Mohapatra, Sri K.C Mohapatra, Sri B.K. Mishra elaborated on power generation, transmission and distribution part in Power Sector followed by question and answer session. The organisers have unfolded that Sankalpa Odisha is a citizen initiative and shall organise more such seminar and workshops for different sector to draft a vision document for Odisha’s fast paced development.

The seminar stressed on harvesting of hydro Power, renewable energy and consumer satisfaction. The Govt. must invest in Transmission and Distribution Sector, Energy Audit, Cluster Development and Electricity Co-operative Societies should be initiated in right earnest.

RSS Akhil Bharatiya Shrung Ghosh (Brass Band) Shibir – SWARANJALI

The 4-day Shibir to began on January 07, 2016 and to conclude on January 10, Sunday 2016. The event will be held at Reva University Campus of Air Port Road, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

On Thursday January 07, 2016 at 5.30pm Senior RSS Pracharak and Samyojak of Kutumb Prabodhan Su Ramanna will inaugurate the Swaranjali Shibir.

As a part of this All India meet Akhil Bharatiya Shrung Ghosh Shibir, a special Shrung Ghosh Path Sanchalan(Route March) to be held on January 09, Saturday 2016 at evening 4.00pm at two different venues. First, a Patha Sanchalan will begin from Vaiyalikaval Play Ground at 4.00 pm and will conclude at Malleshwaram Pavilion Ground. Second, a Patha Sanchalan will begin from HMT Grounds of RT Nagar and will return and conclude at the same place.

Nearly 2000 Shrung Ghosh Vadak Swayamsevaks (RSS Cadres who can play Brass Band Instruments) from all states of Bharat are attending this four day camp. This Shibir will be a training program for Ghosh vadaks who plays new instruments like Saxophone (Naganga),Clarionate (Swarad), Ephonium (Gomukha), Trumpet(Turya) etc.

The instruments in the RSS band at present include the side drum, which has been named by the Sangh asAnaka, the bass drum (Panava), the bugle (Shankha), the flute (Vamshi), the triangle (Thribhuja) and  Cymbol instrument (Jhallari). In this Ghosh Shibir, Brass Band instruments.

RSS developed Ghosh Compositions based on Bharatiya Music both Carnatic and Hindustani ragas.

In this 4-day Ghosh Shivir, new Ghosh Compositions like MEERA based on Bhup Raga, TILANGbased on Tilang Raga, SHIVARANJINI based on Shivaranjini Raga, GOVARDHAN based on DurgaRaga in Hindustani or Shuddh Saveri Raga in Carnatic will be played and trained for the participants.

The purpose of the Shibir is to enhance the quality of the band set, learn new instruments and Rachana (compositions) and understand the overall organisation implementation of Ghosh Compositions. The focus will be on learning how to incorporate Ghosh for inculcating qualities of a swayamsevak and strengthening shakhas.
