Entire nation is celebrating Year 2013-2014 as Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary. Swami Vivekananda; the great patriot Sannyasi, the great thinker of Indian philosophy, inspired freedom fighters, industrialists, artists, scientists, academicians, thinkers and many more. Swamiji was a visionary. Hence he used to say - “Men and women are like two wings of the Bird, and the bird cannot fly with one wing.” He emphasized on Education of women to make them capable to solve their own problems.
On the occasion of Swamiji’s 150th Birth anniversary, Swami Vivekananda Sardha Shati Samaroha Samiti Odisha is organizing a ‘Shakti Sammelani’ on 30th November 2013 under the aegis of Samvardhini Aayam (women’s wing). This will be a mass gathering of womenfolk working in different fields to awaken them for their national responsibility.The chief speaker for the programme will be Adarniya Sunita Haldekar, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Samvardhini Pramukh.
Therefore, we are requesting you to send your media team along with photographers and cameramen to cover the said event as per schedule.
