2 butchers slaughtering cows for one year have been arrested at Kasavali; 10 cattle including 1 cow released !

BJP Govt. in Goa allows slaughtering of cows in the open for appeasing minorities !
Verna – Verna police arrested Yasin Bepari (age- 45 yrs) and Adam Bepari (age- 35 yrs) by raiding a site under construction from Kasavali, Verna (Goa) as both were involved in illegal slaughtering of cows. The place was raided in the night of 27th October. Police released 1 cow, 1 calf and 8 goats, in all 10 animals from this place. Instruments used by butchers, utensils and meat were confiscated from the spot. Police took such action after Joshaine Anthony, an activist from ‘Gou-Gyan Foundation’, Kerala and others lodged a complaint in this regard. Police confiscated animal bones, meat and fats used for mixing with ghee. The butchers were illegally slaughtering cows for the past one year. Before police could reach the place of incident, butchers had already slaughtered 10 cattle. It was informed that every day, these butchers were slaughtering 10-15 cattle. Activists of the above Foundation kept a watch on butchers and informed police.
