Bhubaneswar(visakeO)A team of BJP leaders headed by state unite president Jule Oram visited Flood –hit areas of Kanas and Delang block Thursday and also distributed relief to the affected. Oram criticized the State Government for its failure to provide relief to the flood –hit people. He demanded provision of relief to all affected people for 15 days.
Former state BJP president suresh Pujari on Friday demanded a judicial probe into the flood that affected over 19 districts .
“The government should not take it lightly .The government’s responsibility does not end with providing relief materials .Every one has the right to know whether it was caused by faulty water management of the Hirakud dam authority or it was a natural calamity” Pujari said while talking to toil.
Pujari said the findings of the probe will help the government prepare for such calamities in future.
