The role of M.K Narayanan in framing Anti Tamil policies with respect to Sri Lanka has been well exposed in truthdive.com in the previous articles.
He was the key bureaucrat advising the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take a Pro Sinhala policy in Sri Lankan affairs under a false fear psycho policy frame work involving China. It is like then Krishna Menon to Nehru now M.K.Narayanan to Manmohan Singh. Both lead to disastrous Indian foreign policies.
Now WikiLeaks have exposed that Mr. M.K.Narayanan also behaved with “pro terrorist anti Indian policy” in the issue of extradition of LeT operative David Headley from the US.
According to cables dated December 17, 2009 , the US ambassador Timothy J Roemer said that former Indian National Security Advisor MK Narayanan had suggested to him that the Indian government was actually not keen on the extradition issue but wanted to be seen doing so.
David Headley was a terrorist who gave information to US investigators that the 2008 Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks were out of a conspiracy of his Let with Pakistani military officers. He was arrested in USA in 2009
In March 2010 the Indian Home minister P. Chidambaram said as below
“There are many more questions that we want to ask, much more information which we wish to get,” “I will continue to press for access to Headley in the sense that he will testify in a proceeding or subject himself to interrogation.’’”We have not given up our plea for extradition,”
But Wikileaks expose that the NSA was not keen on extradition.
Which is right?
The home minister wanted extradition of a terrorist in which NSA was not interested.
Now the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh owes an explanation to the Indian people on how such a person who wished for not extraditing a terrorist was acting as a National Security Adviser.
