Human Trafficking by Missionaries Exposed तारीख: 7/2/2012 5:09:48 PM (VSK-CHENNAI) CHENNAI, JULY 2, 2012 : People of Tamilnadu were shocked on hearing the news that 37 kids from Odisha and Jharkhand are kept captive in self-styled ‘Blessing Trust’ (orphanages run by missionaries) in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu. Recently the Tamilnadu State Social Welfare Department unearthed the racket of human trafficking in the State. The kids who are below 10 years of age were taken from the parents by promising that they will be given quality education and other facilities. But the children were not even sent to school and were kept confined in a room under inhumane conditions, says Pradip K Patra State Co-ordinator of Integrated Child Protection Scheme, Odisha.
