Cover Ganesh idol for 'namaz', else we will arrest you : Police to Hindus

Bhadrapad Shuklapaksha 14, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

Such devout Hindus are true strength of Hindu Dharma !

  • Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) bullies Hindus with abusivelanguage and appeases Muslims
  • Advises to cover Ganesha idol for ‘namaz’ and threatens to take intocustody in case of disobedience !
  • Dharavi’s Devout ‘Raja Ganesha Mandal’ turns down the ‘Tughalaki Fatwa’ of police !
Mumbai : ACPPrakash Landge issued a ‘Tughalaki’ order on Fridaythat the idol of Shri Ganesha installed by‘Dharavicha Raja’, the famousGanesha Mandal from Dharavi, should be covered for Friday’s ‘namaz’,and threatened to put them behind bars those whodisobeyed the order. (Do suchpolice belong to India or Pakistan ? Police issuing such orders, canissue orders tonot celebrate Ganesha Festival in future. Hindus needto establish Hindu Rashtra before such situation arises ! – Editor,Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)Every Friday, ‘namaz’ is read in front of this‘Mandal’. This ‘mandal’ has been celebrating Ganesha Festival at thesame place for the past 35 years.

Muslims gathered before the pandal for Namaz

The young office bearers of the said ‘Mandal’ were issued a notice by Landge on Thursday that to facilitate Muslims to read ‘namaz’ on Friday, the idol of Ganesha should be kept covered; but the ‘Mandal’ refused to do so. Then Landge abused the office bearers of Mandal and threatened them with arrest, banishing them, destroying their life etc. and called Hindus to police station in the night. The office bearers of Mandal were warned of communal rift. (It is the duty of the police to maintain peace and harmony. Why should Hindus’ Ganesha idol should be covered for the same ? If police are so scared of riots, why didn’t they stop Muslims from reading ‘namaz’ there ? Because R. R. Patil’s police don’t have guts ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Hindus do not bow !

The local Muslims had not made demand of covering Ganesha idol. Even then, Landge issued such order and Hindus strongly opposed; therefore, there was tension in Dharavi area. Police called Hindus to police station and tried to pressurize them in every possible manner; but the office bearers of ‘Mandal’ did not bow before police. Finally, Muslims gathered before the marquee at 1.00 p.m. on Friday; but as Hindus did not pay heed, Muslims had to read ‘namaz’ in front of Shri Ganesha idol.
Before ‘namaz’, Landge, senior police inspector Ambadas Pawar, Dy. Commissioner of Police Kulkarni etc. had upped security at the site along with State Reserve Police Force and policemen in plain clothes.(Had some untoward incident occurred there, it is doubtful whether police would have taken Hindus’ side ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Till 1.20 p.m., ‘namaz’ was read. Shiv Sena’s former MLA, Baburao Mane, Shiv Sena’s Dy. Area-Chief Shri. Muttu Tevar, municipal councillor, Shri. Rajendra Suryavanshi, former municipal councillor, Shri. Vitthal Pawar, Dharavi’s former BJP President Shri. Ramakant Gupta, advocate Sandip Katake, office bearers of VHP, Bajarang Dal etc. also were present there. (Congratulations to devout Hindus coming together for protection of Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Although no untoward incident occurred at that place, pro-Hindua ctivists and Muslims have accused the police of creating tension during Ganesha Festival which is being celebrated there for 35 years. Hindu activists were asking whether police bullying Hindus, would resort to such intimidation on the occasion of Eid.
