Bus conductor 'Mohammad' thrashed for indecent behavior with lady passenger

Bantwal (Karnataka) : A day after a shopkeeper was beaten up for reportedly misbehaving with a girl employee, it was the turn of a bus conductor to receive similar treatment for a similar reason.

The bus conductor got beaten up by the passengers for his alleged inappropriate behavior with a lady passenger at Melkar junction here on Thursday September 12.
Mohammed, a conductor of Mangalore to BC Road bus, was the one who was beaten up. The woman from Kukkaje slapped the conductor when he acted indecently with her. Her husband who was sitting behind in the bus, made the conductor get down in the next stop. Other passengers and passersby also assaulted the conductor.

Police arrived at the spot and took Mohammed to a hospital for treatment after taking him into custody.
The conductor is said to have troubled the woman by going to an Anganwadi where she is employed, driving her to attempt suicide a few days ago, said the husband of the woman to the reporters.
It is said that the conductor has misbehaved with other women passengers also in the past.
