BJP WINS NINE OUT OF 11 SEATS IN GUJ CIVIC BODY BYPOLLS

The Gujarat BJP on Tuesday tasted first victory after Narendra Modi’s elevation as party’s Prime Ministerial candidate. In the by-elections of 11 seats of Municipal Corporation and Municipality, the BJP pocketed nine seats.
Junagadh is the only Municipal Corporation in Gujarat, where Congress is ruling. But in the by-election of the seat, BJP candidate won with huge margin. Of the 10 seats of Patadi Municipality, BJP candidates won in eight seats.
