Swadeshi Jagran Manch gears up to launch National Security Campaign from September 25.

Bhubaneswar: The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch has decided to launch a National Security Campaign from September 25 to October 2, 2013.

China has become a big threat for our National security as well as the economy. In one side it is seen that China has captured Tibat in the year 1954. It attacked on India in 1962 and captured 38,000 sq km of land. In the year 1963, China took 5183 sq km land from Pak occupied Kashmir and made Karakoram highway over there. In Tibat and Karakoram highway, the Chinese army had made camps, huge amount of arms animation and missiles. All these three seas made by China are naval army base, National Council member of the Manch Manoj Kumar Singh told reporters at a Press Conference held on September 16, 2013.

Presently, as around 220 districts of the Country are under the threat of Maoists insurgency, it is clear that China is becoming a major threat for our internal and external security. Providing all the facilities required by China, the government of India has continuously surrendered in front of the Chinese government, said State Campaign Convener Nirmal Sarangi.

On the other hand, the situation of Indian economy in 2012-13 the total trade deficit of India is 191 billion dollar, from which around 40 billion dollar trade deficit with China alone. Trade deficit is the major cause of devaluation of our currency. Owing to Chinese goods, Indian toys, locks, electronic items, bicycle industries Telecommunication, etc are under threat and even many industries have closed down. Due to the closure of manufacturing industries, employment is continuously synchronized. Keeping all this in view, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch has decided to launch a National Security Campaign across the Country from September 25 to October 2, 2013, with an aim to pressurize the government in order to sort out these issues, Sarangi added.

Similarly, the Campaign will cover all the 30 districts of Odisha by distributing leaflets, organizing seminars and street meetings. Apart that, a sensitization Chariot will cover 10 districts of the State to spread awareness among the general public, he added further.
