THE SOCIAL SERVICE OF UTKAL BIPANNA SAHAYATA SAMITI ON THE EVE OF RATHAYATRA

Puri (VISAKEO) – A number of service activities is being initiated at Puri on the eve of Ratha Yatra by Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti, Odisha, the Seva unit of Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangha starting from Netroschhoba to Sunabesha.


The paramedical service organized by UBSS in the campus of District Hospital,Puri was opened by Sri Adwaitya Charan Dutta, the RSS Khetra Pracharak in charge of Odisha and West Bengal. Medical treatment was given to sixty patients in the above medical centre where four ambulance were engaged through day and night. Twenty doctors were engaged in the above mission who had distributed medicines to 420 patients. 400 swayam sevaks of RSS were working inside the security zone of three Ratha from 8 am to 6 pm. 55 Swayam Sevaks have distributed 25000 water pouch through 5 centres. Swayam Sevaks will continue to work for road cleaning ,water distribution, and medical treatment till Suna Besha. UBSS has requested people to work for tree plantation,water conservation, and abolition of polythene. RSS Pranta Pracharak Sri Jagdish Prasad Khadanga, Pranta Pracharak Pramukh Sri Simanchal Khatua, Sri Mohini Mohan Mishra, all India Secretary,Bharatiya Kisan Sangha, Sri Binaya Bhuyan, chief of Dharma Jagaran Samiti,Odisha have directed and guided the above Seva work at Puri.
