Inauguration of VSK Vidarbh office; launching of 'book bharati' web portal

Nagpur, Aug 15: “Save culture while preserving environment for the posterity”, said noted environmentalist and writer Shri Maruti Chitampalli here on Wednesday. Chitampalli was sharing his views in public in an interview with former editor of Tarun Bharat and in-charge of Vishwa Samvad Kendra (VSK) Nagpur. The interview was part of the program organized to mark the inauguration of new office premises of VSK and launching of the website of Book Bharati—on line book shopee.
In a most informal Q & A session that followed the launching ofwww.bookbharati.com a website of Book Bharati prepared by Bharti Web Pvt. Ltd., Chitampalli shared his views on preserving trees, animals and surrounding environment. He revealed hitherto unknown facts about the tigers stating that tigers had migrated to India from Burma and then systematically destroyed the dominance of the lions and spread their network up to south Indian forests.
Earlier, Nandan Varnekar, Raju Divekar and Abhijit Harkare informed the gathering about their respective projects of Vidarbha Hunkar, Keshav Prakash and Book Bharati which would be run under the same roof of VSK from now. Vidarbha Hunkar is a monthly ‘Jagarana Patrak’ of VSK while Keshav Prakash is also a monthly being published to propagate Hindutva ideology among the people.
Nilay Chauthaiwale compeered the proceedings of the program. The guests were welcomed with floral bouquet, shawl and srifal by Sudhir Pathak and Vishwas Pathak.
The program was attended by former RSS spokesperson M G Vaidya, RSS Vidarbha Prant Sah-Sanghchalak Ram Harkare, Vidarbha Prant Pracharak Yogesh Bapat, senior RSS functionaries, swayamsevaks and well wishers in large numbers.
