RSS CALLS FOR AFFORDABLE EDUCATION, EFFECTIVE HEALTH CARE AND PRACTICE OF SAMARASATA( FREE FROM UNTOUCHABILITY) IN THE SOCIETY

Bhubaneswar-19/3 : RSS has demanded accessible, affordable and qualitative education for all. Pratinidhi sabha of RSS is of view that, it is the responsibility of the government and society to make appropriate education available to the youth according to their aptitude, ability and quality for their participation in the scientific, technological, economic and social development of the nation. But this role has been hindered due to inadequate allocation of funds in preceeding years and commercialisation of educational institutions. Pratinidhi Sabha demands before central government, state government and local bodies that they should allocate adequate resouces, curb the rising commercialisation in education sector, build infrastructure in all the educational institutions, especially located in rural, tribal and under developed areas, and appoint requisite trained and duty bound teachers. RSS has appealed to swayamsevaks and society at large to extend their support in this noble deed.
In a press conference held at Saturday, Shri Samir Kumar Mohanty, Pranta Sanghachalak(state president) of Odisha East has told that it is most necessary for all citizens to practise healthy lifestyle, healthy diet, yoga, exercise and cleanliness for their sound health. It is also essential to provide affordable medical services to the common people. Today, deseases arising out of unhealthy life style are growing fast and medical services are becoming out of access for common citizens due to forbidding cost. As a result of which poor families are getting indebted to meet the treatment of their members. Due to concentration of hospitals in the large towns, there is a shotage of medical facilities in the remote rural areas. The Akhila Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha calls upon all the country men including swayamsevaks, voluntary organisations and the government to endevour to awaken the society , to make citizens disease free, ensure child and mother's health care, eradication of malnourishment and de-addiction against intoxication. For making proper medical services accesible to common people, especially in rural and tribal areas, central and state governments should bring requisite improvement in the infrastructure, policies and procedures with the allocation of adequate resources. Government and the industrialists should extend support to the hospitals run by various social, religious and community organisations with charitable and philanthropic attitude. The schemes for free distribution of medicines started in some centres in last few years and the proposal made for 3000 such medicine centres by the central govrernment in the recent budget are welcome moves. For control of drug prices government should promote generic medicines and give human touch to patent regime. To ensure quality of medicines they should be regularly tested in the laboratories. This method of testing of medicines of ayurvedic, unani and other traditional systems of treatment should be developed.
Pratinidhi sabha is of the opinion that each individual should conduct one self with samarasata(social harmony) in day to day personal, family and social life. It is this conduct that will eradicate caste discrimination, untouchability and mutual distrust from the society and all of us will experience an integral and samaras life free from exploitation. Akhila Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha appeals to all revered saints, preachers, intellectuals, social activists, religious organisations and swayamsevaks to make every possible effort to strenghten this feeling of samarasata(social harmony). Sangha is persistently carrying out this job.
