BJP Govt. in Goa allows slaughtering of cows in the open for appeasing minorities !

Verna – Verna police arrested Yasin Bepari (age- 45 yrs) and Adam Bepari (age- 35 yrs) by raiding a site under construction from Kasavali, Verna (Goa) as both were involved in illegal slaughtering of cows. The place was raided in the night of 27th October. Police released 1 cow, 1 calf and 8 goats, in all 10 animals from this place. Instruments used by butchers, utensils and meat were confiscated from the spot. Police took such action after Joshaine Anthony, an activist from ‘Gou-Gyan Foundation’, Kerala and others lodged a complaint in this regard. (Congratulations to Joshaine Anthony, an activist of ‘Gou-Gyan Foundation’, Kerala for helping to catch cow-slaughterers ! Citizens are able to notice things which police cannot see ! Are police blind or they are purposely overlooking at such things ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Police confiscated animal bones, meat and fats used for mixing with ghee. The butchers were illegally slaughtering cows for the past one year. Before police could reach the place of incident, butchers had already slaughtered 10 cattle. It was informed that every day, these butchers were slaughtering 10-15 cattle. Activists of the above Foundation kept a watch on butchers and informed police.

Congratulations to Sriram Sena and pro-Hindu activists who foiled the ploy of Christians to covert Hindus !

Belgaum – On 27th October, a prayer meeting was going on at Corporation Complex in Goavesa area which activists of Sriram Sena and devout Hindus forced to end. Such prayer-meeting was held on every Sunday on behalf of ‘Telugu Madigar Samaj’. Pro-Hindu organisations had accused that in the name of prayer-meetings, Hindus were converted during such meetings. As a precautionary measure, police drove out people from the office through which prayer-meetings were held and locked it so as to avoid any kind of commotion.
On 20th October, pro-Hindu activists had foiled a prayer-meeting held at ‘Kala Mandir’ by New Life Fellowship Church by alleging that there was likelihood of conversion of Hindus. After such recent incident, the second attempt of Christians to hold prayer-meeting has been exposed now. For many days, it was being accused that conversions were taking place through the medium of prayer-meetings by impressing upon people that only Christianity can solve all problems. Pro-Hindu activists had, therefore, demanded that the prayer meetings should be stopped.

Prayer meeting held without taking prior permission

‘Telugu Madigar Samaj’ had taken permission for prayer meetings in the year 2007; but the period for which such permission was granted, is over; still they continued to hold prayer meetings without proper permission. Tilakwadi police called the organisers of such prayer meeting and obtained more information on the same. (Police create obstacles for Hindus even when they organise meetings after taking prior permission; but what action the same police are going to take against Christian missionaries holding illegal prayer meetings ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Brawl between police and organisers

There were lot of arguments between police and people who had come to attend such prayer meeting. The organisers claimed no wrong was committed at the place of prayer meetings; but pro-Hindu activists warned that prayer meetings should not be held in future; else such meetings would be forcibly ended.

A month after it was on the boil due to communal clashes, that left 62 dead, fresh violence erupted in Budhana area of Muzaffarnagar district after four persons were killed in the area on Wednesday night. Additional security forces have been deployed in the sensitive district and the neighbouring areas as tension prevails over the entire region.
Eight persons were arrested in connection with the latest round of violence and security was enhanced in the entire district where tension ran high, officials said.
The three victims were beaten to death while another was injured in clashes between members of two communities at Muhammadpurraisingh village, District Magistrate Kaushal Raj told sources.
Eight persons were arrested and efforts are on to apprehend others involved in tonight’s incident, the DM said.
Sources said the victims were among those people staying in relief camps after the recent riots.
The incident appeared to be a fallout of the communal tension in the region. Muhammadpurraisingh village was one of places affected by the riots last month.
Residents of Muhammadpurraisingh clashed with people belonging to Hussainpur village that led to the death of the three youths, according to sources.
Though the two villages are at a distance of a kilometre, their agricultural fields are situated nearby, the sources said, adding some people spread rumours that five persons were planning to attack members of a community residing at Muhammadpurraisingh village.
Senior police officials, including the SSP, were camping in the area to prevent any further untoward incident.

Bali Hindus angered by temple tourism plan

Hundreds of Balinese Hindus gather for worship at the Besakih temple, Bali's holiest site — Photo by AFP
DENPASAR: Hindu leaders on the Indonesian holiday island of Bali Tuesday lashed out at a government plan to attract more tourists to their most sacred temple as “degrading” to Hinduism.
The row highlighted concerns that Bali's booming tourism industry is a double-edged sword, as it threatens to erode the Hindu culture which is part of the attraction for the millions who visit the tropical island.
The Indonesian Hindu Association's concerns centred on a government decision to include the Besakih temple and the volcano upon which it sits on an official list of sites to be developed for tourism.
“These sites are the centre of the universe for us Balinese Hindus, and we are worried that by making it an official tourist destination, our spiritual lives will be disrupted,” association head Ngurah Sudyana said.
“We are concerned that our spirituality will be degraded and exploited if these sites are just seen as commercial.”
While the sites in eastern Bali already receive considerable numbers of visitors, they are far less crowded than the major tourist areas in the south.
Sudyana said he was worried the government plan would change this.
“We are worried big buildings for accommodation and entertainment will be erected,” he said.
The temple and volcano, in eastern Bali, were included in the list of 88 places across Indonesia to be developed for tourism over a 15-year period.
Besakih, known as the “mother temple” by Balinese Hindus, is a huge, stone complex which sits 1,000 metres up the side of Mount Agung, a volcano that has great spiritual significance for Bali's Hindus.
The tourism ministry plans to improve tourism links and accommodation at the selected destinations to boost an industry that is often criticised as underdeveloped compared with neighbours like Thailand and Malaysia.
The list was first drawn up in 2011, but Hindu leaders have spoken out amid growing unease on Bali about the pace of development.
The tourism ministry defended the plan, however, and said it planned to hold consultations with Bali's religious leaders to address their concerns.
“We are trying to conserve strategic tourism destinations, not cause any disruption to them. It will certainly bring benefits to the communities,”ministry spokesman Noviendi Makalam said.
“There will be no major developments there without consultations with the community first.”
As a Hindu-majority island, Bali is an anomaly in the world's biggest Muslim-majority nation of around 250 million people and is known for its hedonistic party scene and comparatively relaxed social attitudes.

New Delhi – An announcement was made by the main pro-Hindu political parties to form a new Front called ‘Hindu Alliance’ to stop division of Hindu votes in the forthcoming Assembly elections. In this Front, ‘Rashtravadi Shiv Sena’, Akhil Bharateeya Hindu Mahasabha, ‘Rashtra Nirman Party’ and ‘Hindustan Nirman Dal’ have joined. In a press conference held at ‘Hindu Mahasabha Bhavan’, the announcement of new Front was made. The press conference was addressed by many pro-Hindu leaders including Shri. Jai Bhagavan Goyal, the National Chief of ‘Rashtravadi Shiv Sena’, Shri. Chandra Prakash Kaushik, the National Chief of ‘Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha’, Shri. Jai Bhagavan Goyal was declared as the Convener of this ‘Front’.
Hindu leaders accused all political parties being anti-Hindu and stated that forthcoming elections would be contested on the points of staunch ‘Hinduttva’ and national welfare so as to teach a lesson to all such parties. A list of candidates has been prepared by all parties which are part of this ‘Front’ and they have support of most of the Saints from Delhi. They will be taking up issues like increasing unemployment, opposition to reading ‘namaz’ on roads, infiltration of Bangla Deshi citizens, atrocities against Saints and religious places of Hindus and appeasement of Muslims etc.

Only goal of pro-Hindu activists is to establish Hindu Rashtra by awakening spiritual Hinduism

Amaravati :  Anti-Hindus are active for preventing Saints from propagating spirituality and to create hatred amongst people towards Dharma; but we should recognize them in time and give an apt reply, stated H.B.P. Lakshminarayan Dayma Maharaj from Akola. He was speaking on the topic of ‘Prevention of denigration of Deities and defamation of Saints’ at Amba Mangalam, Amaravati on the occasion of inauguration of regional Hindu Convention.
Representatives from different fields like pro-Hindu organizations, Sects, Dharmacharyas, Pravachankars, advocates, journalists and thinkers have gathered here from various districts of Maharashtra viz. Amaravati, Akola, Vashim, Vardha, Nagpur, Yeotmal, Nanded etc. to participate in the Convention who are inspired with establishment of Hindu Rashtra. The Convention was started with lighting of lamp and recitation of ‘Mantras’. Later, Shri. Sanjay Thakur felicitated Poojya Nandkumar Jadhav and Shri. Subhash Zanvar, the Nagpur District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) felicitated H.B.P. Lakshminarayan Dayma Maharaj whereas devout Hindu and advocate Shri. Prashant Gore from Akola felicitated H.B.P. Vanave Maharaj from Nagpur. Shri. Dheeraj Raut, district Coordinator of HJS for Akola felicitated H.B.P. Salu Maharaj from Akot and H.B.P. Sujit Maharaj Deshmukh and ‘Vedashastra-sampanna’ Shri. Ashish Kshirsagar Guruji.

Unity is necessary to strengthen Dharma and morals ! – H.B.P. Vanave Maharaj

One, who gives happiness, is alert, ideal, has God principle in him and concerned about welfare of the world, is a Hindu. If people have such qualities, establishment of Hindu Rashtra is certain. Today, people have no morals, Dharma is in danger. In such situation, all ‘pravachankars, ‘keertankars’, Saints- Mahants need to unite forgetting their differences for strengthening Dharma and morals and do their duty.

Convention organized to oppose attacks on Hindus ! – Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar, District Coordinator of HJS for Vidarbha

Maharashtra Regional Hindu Convention is held at Amaravati to oppose attacks on Hindus at national and State levels in which the pro-Hindu organizations and devout Hindus, who are genuinely working for protection of Dharma, have been included excluding the politicians.

Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is possible only when our personality defects are removed ! – Poojya Nandkumar Jadhav, Sanatan Sanstha

The main obstacle in establishment of Hindu Rashtra is personality defects in pro-Hindu activists and leaders ! If these defects are removed, establishment of Hindu Rashtra is bound to happen.

People will become virtuous not out of fear of law but only by abiding by Dharma ! – Samartha-devotee Mandarbuva Ramdasi

Pune : Dharma is the soul of a nation. In today’s situation, some people, who are virtuous, are so because of abiding by Dharma and not out of fear of law. Political leaders, people who call themselves as progressive and media are misleading people that God does not exist. Hindus’ holy books are not studied by them but using only few lines from such books, these people are spreading disinformation about Dharma. People should, however, overlook such false propagation and follow the path shown by Saints by undertaking spiritual practice. They should study the holy books regularly and try to follow their guidance. The above advice was given by Samartha-devotee and Editor of ‘Raghuveer Samartha’ periodical, Mandarbuva Ramdasi.
Two-day regional Hindu Convention was organized by HJS at Kakade Palace, Kothrud when he was speaking during inauguration of the Convention. H.H. Vijay Maharaj Deshmukh, the Founder President of ‘Deshmukh Maharaj Foundation’, Smt. Himani tai Savarkar of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ and Shri. Gajanan Kesarkar of HJS were present on the occasion.

Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is the only remedy on profuse wounds of Hindus ! – Himanitai Savarkar

Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s important viewpoint was politics to be based on Hinduism and army training for Hindus. Being powerful does not mean being terrorist. Due to attacks by Muslims, condition of Hindus will be as pathetic as of those who get singed in fire; if Hindu Rashtra is not established. For establishment of Hindu Rashtra, struggle is inevitable; but establishment of Hindu Rashtra is the only remedy for profuse wounds of Hindus; therefore, everyone should dedicate self for accomplishing this mission.

Literature on Dharma should be created in simple language ! – H. H. Vijay Maharaj Deshmukh, the Founder President of ‘Deshmukh Maharaj Foundation’

Answer to every doubt is available in our holy scriptures. Those, who deny existence of God, are never seen on the path of searching God. Principles of Dharma are required to be explained in simple language so that ordinary citizens can understand the same.

Come forward to protect cows ! – Pandit dada Modak, Director of ‘Sarsenapati Hambirraro Mohite Gou-shala’, Vadaki

In olden days, cow-dung was used as fertilizers. Every person, who is born, is bound to die; but remember that one never dies while protecting cows. Those, who protect Gou-mata (holy cow), are protected by ‘Gou-mata’.

Media hold discussion sessions as part of entertainment ! – Shripad Chikane, Yoga Vedanta Samiti

Media are presently defaming Saints. Even Saints like Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Tukaram Maharaj were defamed earlier. Nowadays, mud-slinging is taking place in case of Shankaracharya, Swami Ramdevbaba and H. H. Asaram Bapu. Even a notorious criminal is treated in a better way than the treatment given to these Saints. It is an attack on the roots of Hindu Dharma. Persons, who have no knowledge on the subject are invited for discussion sessions, to entertain people. Such media should be opposed, in lawful manner.

Various programs were organized in a temple on the occasion of a festival held every year in a city. Trustees of this temple used to organize spiritual programs every year on such occasion; but for the last two years, program of a Fanatic singer has been organized in this temple including singing of film songs. The trustee is an activist of one powerful pro-Hindu organisation. This trustee, who is hit with sudden surge of love for secularism, held program of Fanatic singer even this year.  One devout Hindu from the city, however, did not like it; therefore, he contacted activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and requested them to stop attack on Hindu culture. Activists of HJS, therefore, contacted the trustee and explained to him that holding such kind of programs was an attack on Hindu Dharma and tried to create awareness in him; advising him to cancel the program; but the trustee refused and told the activists, “I will not cancel the program. You can do whatever you want. If you try to stop the program, you will have to face serious consequences.” The devout Hindu stood firmly behind HJS during the tension created while trustee was made aware and he too tried to dissuade him from holding such program. ( Such devout Hindus are true strength of Hindu Dharma ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat ) Few Hindus were also present when the subject was explained to the trustee; but they preferred to keep quiet and did not respond in any way. ( It is against Dharma to keep quiet when damage is being caused to Dharma. Why should God protect them during period of crisis ? It shows the need for ‘Dharma-shiskhan’ for such Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

Sardar Patel, Nehru and the RSS

Sardar Patel, Nehru and the RSS

The latest prime-time controversy is the one between Narendra Modi and Dr.Manmohan Singh regarding the legacy of Sardar Patel.
Narendra Modi said that if Sardar would have become the Prime Minister of the country, the country's future would have been different. He then went on to explain the vision of the great Sardar.
Dr.Manmohan Singh responded by reading out a speech ( which disproves the point that he was reacting to Modi ) that Sardar Patel was a Congressman and he fought for the principles of secularism throughout his life.
As part of the orchestra, Manish Tewari and others jumped into the fray on Main stream media and social network that Sardar Patel's legacy cannot be appropriated and that he was a Congressman and other parties dont have any history etc etc..

Now let us have the facts :

1. This is not the first time that someone has said that Patel would have been a better Prime Minister than Nehru. C.Rajagpolachary, who was the Governor General of India said If Nehru was Foreign Minister and Patel the Prime minister, it would be undoubtedly better.
2. The legacy of the great national leaders is not the property of a single political party. The Indian National Congress ,pre-independence was a vehicle in which people of many political hues participated in their quest for freedom. The legacy of those leaders belong to the entire nation and not to one political party. It is for this reason that Mahatma Gandhi resolved to disband the Congress after Independence.
Mahatma Gandhi wrote " Though split into two, India having attained political independence through means provided by the Indian National Congress, the Congress in its present shape and form, i.e., as a propaganda vehicle and parliamentary machine, has outlived its use. India has still to attain social, moral and economic independence in terms of its seven hundred thousand villages as distinguished from its cities and towns. The struggle for the ascendancy of civil over military power is bound to take place in India's progress towards its democratic goal. It must be kept out of unhealthy competition with political parties and communal bodies. For these and other similar reasons, the A. I. C .C. resolves to disband the existing Congress organization and flower into a Lok Sevak Sangh under the following rules, with power to alter them as occasion may demand.
(*Gandhiji's idea of a transformed Congress was published in Harijan under the title "His Last Will and Testament". Also published in 'The Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi - Volume 90', published by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's publication division in 1984.
Can the Congress leaders explain why Mahatma Gandhi who as per them is the sole architect of freedom was completly ignored in this essential point ? Does it not show the power-hungry nature of Nehru and his ilk ?

3. Let us now come to Dr.Manmohan Singh's certificate of Sardar Patel that he is indeed a secularist. The only certificate of "Secularism" in India must come from the Congress because they own the meaning of this word. " Secularism" in Bharat i.e., India means the opposite of what it is worldwide.
In his book " With No Ill-Feeling to Anybody", Sri MKK Nair, an IAS officer of the 1947 batch who was close both to Sardar and VP Menon, writes
"Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the then Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India, was insulted, humiliated and disgraced by the then Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, during a Cabinet meeting. “You are a complete communalist and I’ll never be a party to your suggestions and proposals,”Nehru shouted at Patel during a crucial Cabinet meeting to discuss the liberation of Hyderabad by the Army from the tyranny of the Razakkars, the then Nizam’s private army.

A shocked Sardar Patel collected his papers from the table and slowly walked out of the Cabinet room. That was the last time Patel attended a Cabinet meeting. He also stopped speaking to Nehru since then.”

So RSS is not the only one that Nehru called communal. He had those kind words for the then own Dy.Prime Minister, Sardar Patel.

4. Manish Tewari, Congress MP, ( Information & Broadcasting Minister ) ,in an interview to a news channel, quotes a letter by Sardar Patel to Guru Golwalkar of the RSS dated 11th Sept 1948.  "On 9/11/1948, Sardar Patel wrote a letter to Golwalkarji. And, in that letter, he said that the communal poison which had been spread by the RSS was responsible for the sacrifice of Gandhiji. As a student of political history, it has always intrigued me that the RSS, BJP has been attempting unsuccessfully to appropriate the legacy of Sardar Patel. I wanted to ask the BJP or their newly-anointed pretender that do they endorse, or agree with the views of Sardar Patel with regard to the RSS. If not, as the chief minister of Gujarat and possibly as the 'Swayamsevak' within history bears testimony to the fact that those who do not have a history of their own, try to appropriate the history of others," he added. Tewari said the Indian freedom struggle was conceived, conceptualized and led by the Indian National Congress. "The unification of India was also the result of the efforts of the Indian National Congress. So, therefore, it would be advisable before you try and appropriate legacy to at least study it carefully," he added.

In the same letter that Tewari cites , the Sardar wrote ,
“There can be no doubt that the RSS did service to the Hindu society. In the areas where there was the need for help and organization, the young men of the RSS protected women and children and strove much for their sake. No person of understanding could have a word of objection regarding that” and he writes further “ I am thoroughly convinced that the RSS men carry on their patriotic endeavour only by joining the Congress and not by keeping separate or by opposing. " Source: Justice on Trial

It is clear that he wanted the Sangh to join Congress for whatever reasons he deemed fit.
Therefore, it would be nice if a student of political history as Tewari claims himself to be, he goes through the entire documentation.

What is further interesting is the following correspondence:
After removal of the ban on the RSS on 12 July 1949, Sardar Patel wrote a letter to Shri Guruji on this occasion and made a telling remark: ‘Only the people near me know as to how happy I was when the ban on Sangh was lifted. I wish you all the best.’

Any person who is genuine and wants to present the truth, would have mentioned the whole correspondence between Sardar Patel and Guruji Golwalkar and not quote as it suits him. It clearly exposes the lies that Manish Tewari and his ilk are indulging in.

5 . How the Efforts by the Congress to malign RSS Continue
Inspite of all the direct evidence, the Congress did not end at this, In 1966, Nehru's daughter, Indira Gandhi appointed another commission under Justice JL Kapur, a retd judge of Supreme Court.  It examined over 100 witnesses and submited a report in 1969. The Kapur Commission report said "
...RSS as such were not responsible for the murder of Mahatma Gandhi, meaning thereby that one could not name the organisation as such as being responsible for that most diabolical crime, the murder of the apostle of peace. It has not been proved that they (the accused) were members of the RSS.."

8. In his speeches, after the ban was lifted, Shri Guruji endeared himself to many people outside the Sangh ranks with his magnanimity and moderation. ‘Let us close this chapter of the ban on the Sangh,’ he told swayamsevaks and RSS sympathisers. ‘Do not let your minds be overcome with bitterness for those who, you feel, have done injustice to you. If the teeth were to bite the tongue do we pull out the teeth? Even those who have done injustice to us are our own people. So we must forget and forgive."

Compare this with Nehru's mean and jealous attitude of sidelining everyone who opposed in his way, so much so, that he arm-twisted even Mahatma Gandhi to name him as the Prime Minister when 12 out of 15 Congress committees named the Sardar over him as their Prime Ministerial choice.

Both Nehru and his daughter Indira Gandhi tried falsely implicate the RSS in the Gandhi murder.  Nehru's great-grandson, Rahul Gandhi continues to harp on the "people who killled Gandhi". Having failed in their efforts, the Congress leaders & the communists continue to raise the bogey of Hindu communalism every now and then in a lowly attempt to garner votes and keep the country in a state of uncertainty. .

The only difference is that the nation is seeing through their game !

Encl :
Annexure A - More Information on the Ban on the RSS

Annexure A
More Information on the Ban on RSS
The subject of the ban on RSS in connection with Gandhiji's murder needs some more attention. It is clear that Sardar Patel was of the opinion that the RSS was not involved in Gandhiji's murder. This fact is evident from the correspondence between Patel and Nehru. Replying to the Prime Minister’s letter urging him to ascertain the RSS connection in the case, Patel sent a categorical reply on 27 February 1948, less than a month after Gandhiji’s assassination: ‘I have kept myself almost in daily touch with the progress of the investigations regarding Bapu’s assassination case. All the main accused have given long and detailed statements of their activities. It also clearly emerges from the statements that the RSS was not involved in it at all.’

Therefore, it is clear that it was on Nehru's insistence and some later fictitious reports from some of the state leaders that forced Patel to impose the ban on the RSS.
Shri Guruji was arrested again on the night of 13 November 1948 under the notorious Bengal State Prisoner’s Act. It was the very Act which Nehru had condemned before Independence as a ‘black law’. Soon after his arrest, Shri Guruji wrote a letter to all the swayamsevaks: ‘This state of affairs is humiliating. To continue to submit meekly to this atrocious tyranny is an insult to the honour of citizens of free Bharat and a blow to the prestige of our civilised free State. I therefore request you to stand up for our great cause.’ He gave a call for nationwide satyagraha on 9 December 1948. The main slogan of the satyagrahis was a blatant challenge to the Nehru government: ‘Prove the charges against the RSS or lift the ban.’

The satyagraha was a huge success all over the country. The government soon realised that public opinion was going against Shri Guruji’s illegal arrest. So in order to break the stalemate, Patel communicated a request to Shri Guruji to prepare a written constitution for the RSS and to send it to the Government of India for its perusal. Until then, the RSS had been functioning without a constitution. Shri Guruji readily agreed to this suggestion and the text of the Sangh’s constitution was sent to the government in June 1949. This paved the way for removal of the ban on the RSS on 12 July 1949, followed by Shri Guruji’s release the following day
.

On a side note, it is interesting to note that after the ban was lifted, Shri Guruji embarked on an all-India tour in August 1949, touring the country extensively for six months. Wherever he went, he received a tumultuous welcome. The massive ovation he got in Delhi on 23 August 1949 attracted international attention. BBC radio reported: ‘Golwalkar is a shining star that has arisen on the Indian firmament. The only other Indian who can draw such huge crowds is Prime Minister Nehru.’

This explains why Nehru was so insistent on banning the RSS. It was probably because he saw a potential political threat in the RSS to him.

Final Constitutional proof that lifting the ban on RSS was unconditional.
Coming to the propaganda that RSS made compromises, here is the final proof.
Proceedings of Bombay legislative assembly of the 14th October 1949 after lifting the ban :

Mr. Lallubhai Makanji Patel
Will the Hon Minister for Home and Revenue be pleased to state: -

(a)    Whether it is a fact that the ban on RSS has been lifted
(b)   If so, what are the reasons for lifting the ban
(c)    Whether the lifting of the ban is conditional or unconditional
(d)   If conditional, what are the conditions
(e)    Whether the leader of the RSS has given any undertaking

Answered by Mr. Dinkarrao Desai for Morarji R Desai

(a)    Yes
(b)   As it was no longer considered necessary to continue it
(c)    Unconditional
(d)   Does not arise
(e)    NO

It is therefore clear that the lifting of ban on the RSS in 1948 was unconditional and the organisation and its swayamsevaks were falsely implicated.

Patna serial blasts : Jihadi terrorists of IM carried out blasts

Patna serial blasts : Jihadi terrorists of IM carried out blasts

October 28, 2013
Ashwin Krushnapaksha 9, Kaliyug Varsha 5115
Hours after four suspects were arrested by Bihar Police in Patna; Jharkhand Police had detained three suspected Indian Mujahideen men from Ranchi in connection with the serial blasts in Patna on Sunday night that killed five people and left 83 injured. Police have arrested a total of 13 men so far.
“Based on the tip-off by Bihar police, we raided a place at Dhurva (area of the city) and detained three suspects. They are being interrogated,” a senior police officer said in Ranchi.
“The raids led to the seizure of a pressure cooker, extremist literature, explosives and other materials used to make IEDs (Improvised Explosive Device),” he said, adding that raids are being carried out at other places also. He, however, refused to divulge further details.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand police have recovered Jihadi literature, pressure cooker bombs, detonators from the Ranchi residence of one of the arrested suspect, Imtiaz Ansari.
The probe agency is questioning Ansari on the wider conspiracy behind the blasts.
Ansari was apprehended at Patna Junction Railway Station just after the first two bombs went off. As per reports, he was looking to plant some more bombs but panicked when he saw the police and tried to flee raising suspension of the cops who then arrested him.
Besides Ansari, Ainul, Akhtar and Kaleem are among the 13 other suspects arrested in connection the blasts. Ainul was critically injured in the station blast and was initially believed to be a victim before it emerged that he was also part of the conspiracy.
As per reports, Ansari has told his interrogators that the blasts were a terror strike orchestrated by the Indian Mujahideen (IM) to avenge the Muzaffarnagar blasts. He has claimed that the conspiracy was hatched by Tehseen Akhtar, who is the right hand man of arrested IM mastermind Yasin Bhatkal.
Ansari has also reportedly claimed that Akhtar had met him in early October and had provided him the explosives used to carry out the strike in Patna.
As per a Times of India report, second-in-command of IM, Tehsin Akhtar alias Monu, who belongs to Bihar and is part of the infamous Darbhanga module of the outfit, is still on the run and is now heading the outfit’s India operations after Ahmed Siddibappa alias Yasin Bhatkal’s arrest in August. Akhtar is wanted for several blasts including the 2011 Mumbai and 2013 Hyderabad blasts.
Akhtar is the mastermind of Bodh Gaya blasts as well. About half a kilo of explosives used in each bomb, table clocks used as timers, sources said on Monday.
Earlier, Jharkhand Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) SN Pradhan said an alert has been issued in the State after reports emerged that some of the accused involved in Sunday’s blasts are from Jharkhand.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed concern over the incident and condemned the attack. He also asked officials to ensure that steps are taken to nab those involved in the attack soon.
Five people were killed and 83 injured in seven low intensity serial blasts in Patna of which six bombs went off in and around the venue of Narendra Modi’s mega rally at Gandhi Maidan shortly before his address to a huge gathering.
Police conducted raids at different places in Jharkhand after it was found that many of the accused in Patna serial bomb blasts hail from the State and black powder was recovered during raids in Ranchi.
“Black powder has been recovered,” Senior Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh said after police raided a place at Dhurva in Jharkhand’s State capital.
Raids are also being carried out at other places, police sources said.
Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) SN Pradhan had earlier said the accused named by Bihar police hail from Jharkhand.
“Many of the accused in the serial bomb blasts in Patna are from Jharkhand. They might have carried explosives from Jharkhand or might have got from there,” he said.
Earlier this year, Manjar Imam, an alleged Indian Mujahidin operative who hails from Ranchi, was arrested by the Anti-terrorist Squad in connection with Coimbatore and Ahmedabad blasts.
In 2001, two terrorists connected with the American Centre attack in Kolkata were shot dead in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district.

As part of preparations to meet challenges from China and Pakistan, India is planning to lay 14 strategic railway lines close to borders with these two countries to help in easier and faster movement of troops.
The railway lines are besides 73 roads being constructed along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, sources said here today.
Out of the 14 planned railway lines, survey has been completed for 12, they said.
The railway lines have been planned in Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
Of the 73 roads with a total length of 3812 km, laying of 61 roads covering 3,404 km have been assigned to Border Roads Organisation (BRO), the sources said.
27 of the 61 roads are being constructed in Arunachal Pradesh, 12 in Jammu and Kashmir, 14 in Uttarakhand, five in Himachal Pradesh and three in Sikkim.
17 roads have been completed, they said.
Out of 73 roads, 12 are being constructed by Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for ITBP, they said.
The infrastructure development is being carried out as China has made strides in this regard and India is lagging much behind.
Defence Minister A K Antony conceded in Parliament last month that China is "superior" in terms of border infrastructure as India was late in deciding on building roads and other capabilities near the LAC because of the impact of the 1962 war.
He had described it as a "collective failure" of all the successive governments.

A Toronto man was arrested Wednesday for walking into Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office and pretending to have a bomb.
On Thursday Mohammed Jimale, 45, was charged with “one count uttering threats and one count mischief,” after allegedly “walking into [a] governmental building with a suspicious package, threatening people and praying in a foreign language,” according to The Ottawa Sun. Jimale has since been ordered to see a psychiatrist.
The bomb scare occurred just a few hours before a government speech before the throne. Harper was not present during the threat that many thought was a terrorist attack in the making.
All roads surrounding the prime minister’s office were roped off while a bomb squad arrived to investigate the scene. The object in question, a briefcase, was deemed safe and not to be explosive.
Jimale’s wife, Fos Elmi, 44, told QMI Agency her husband is a very gentle man, devoted to his faith. Elmi also said she did not know why her husband made the trip to Ottawa.
This is not Jimale’s first run-in with the law. In 1998 the man was convicted and fined $250 dollars for “communication for the purposes of prostitution,” reportedThe Ottawa Sun.

Elaborating on the yatra, Sitarama Kedilaya said that a span of about 10 kilo metres will be covered on a daily basis by foot, after which he will take rest in the village that falls in the vicinity. The primary task he has to undertake will be to get in touch with the youth and the prominent members of the village and discuss important issues like care of sick. This will include the handicapped, blind etc. Other activities like taking a round of the entire village and engaging in a collective session of prayer at the village temple. This will help create a bond of great depth with the people, which will help the villagers realize that villages were, once upon a time, a single encompassing family. However, this feeling has taken a back seat now, which has led to a whole lot of problems everywhere. This has now escalated to national and international levels. The feeling of unity, along with creation of family bonds, if brought back to villages will ensure restoration of harmony to a great extent. This could be instrumental in the rekindling of the concept of ‘Vasudha Eva Kudumbakam’. And then, the journey will resume to the next village.
Muslim Leaders welcomed Bharat Parikrama Yatra throughout its path in Karnataka, offered their full support for Gram Vikas
66 year old Sitarama Kedilaya has been, for a long time, strictly adhered to having a single meal a day. During the course of the journey, he will have no possessions or belongings with him. When asked what inspired him to undertake the endeavor at this age, that too all alone, he replied, “What makes you feel that I am alone? I have the thoughts and ideas of as many as 121 crore people with me. After all the very deed is for an all encompassing nation.”

Sitaram Kedilaya has dedicated a slogan for the purpose. “Know Bharat, be Bharat and Make Bharat Vishwaguru”. The reason for the yatra is clear. The current trends that prevail are businesslike and commercial , where life is being seen only in terms of trade and profit. This unfortunately has given rise to poverty, unemployment and corruption everywhere. Another trend that prevails is that the world is now a battlefield, with life being nothing but constant strife. This thought stream has led to violence, terrorism and an existence hand with deadly weapons everywhere. This has led to deep turbulence and instability, with people all over the world making a mad scramble for any straw that will provide them with peace. And then this makes them realize that the road to solitude, ultimately happens to be Bharat. It is here that the relevance of the third and most important trend comes into being: “The world is a family and life is a revelation”.
RSS Kshethreeya Pracharak Pramukh Da Ma Ravindra walks along with Sitaram Kedilaya
Bharat has gifted this very concept to the entire world. This perception has no violence or strife. All it has is the message to live life filled with universal love, spirituality and compassion. Only this is required to pervade the entire world with harmony. The best place to initiate this is the villages. And so the endeavour is being undertaken for safeguarding villages, the country and the entire world.
