Joint protest against WTO
BHUBANESWAR:(visakeo)- BMS, BKS and SJM on September 2 held a massive demonstration here at PMG Square in protest against the policies of the World Trade Organisation.
These three bodies have demanded that agricultural goods should be kept out of the negotiations with WTO.
The meeting to be held in New Delhi is nothing but an attempt to put the farmers community in trouble, spokesman Rabi Narayan Panda said.
SJM State coordinator AP Ray, BSK State organizing secretary Pradipta Kumar Ray, BMS national secretary P Kumarji, State working president Basant Sahu, S Tarai, D Rout, M Rout and Bibhu Panda were among those present and spoke against WTO.
