Birla Tyres crisis: Utkal Bharat seeks Govt intervention
Utkal Bharat chief Kharabela Swain, on Tuesday, met Chief Secretary Tarun Kanti Mishra at the State Secretariat and demanded State Government’s immediate intervention in the ongoing crisis in Birla Tyres at Balasore. He told Mishra that the problem occurred as the plant management is intolerant with the genuine activities of the recognised Birla Tyres Workers’ Union (BTWU).
