TWO DAYS CONFERENCE OF JATI & JANAJATI  OF ODISHA TO BE HELD FROM 29TH DECEMBER’2012 AT BHUBANESWAR

Bhubaneswar(visakeo)A big cultural meet (conference) of Jati and Janajati of Odisha will be held on 29th & 30th December’2012  at Bhubaneswar in Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti ground as briefed by Sri Arun Kumar Panda,President of Jati Janajati Sanskrutika Samaroha Samiti in a press meet held at Redcross Bhavan.
Sri Panda told that more than hundred catagories of Janajati are staying in towns,villages and forests of Odisha from time immemorial.Although attempts have been made to protect their tradition and culture,it is being very often disrupted due to the absence of proper patronage and encouragement. There social,economic, and cultural development has not reached to the expected level due to international conspiracy,adminisrative negligence and absence of social awareness. They are still neglected in the field of health and education.Due to the influence of western culture, the youths of the society are gradually loosing interest in their own culture. Thousands of innocent people are dying every year due to the ethnic violence erupted in their society.
He further emphasised that sincere efforts are being made by the Samiti to eradicate this evil and  establish social harmony based on mutual trust and cooperation and  motivate them to join in the national mainstream. As per agenda a big conference of all heads and chiefs of Jati and Janajati will be held on 29th & 30th December’2012 at Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti ground near Redcross Bhavan.  Honourable Home Minister of Revered Dalailama Sri Dalama Gayari,other renowned social activists-Dr.Krushna Gopalji, Mukund Rao Panasikar, Setu Mdhavan, Rajendraji and many religious leaders have given their kind consent to grace the occasion. Maharaja Dillip Singh Judev,M.P. of Madhya Pradesh along with other earstwhile Raja and Maharaja will also be present to glorify the occasion.

All the Heads and Chiefs of the Jati and Janajati are also specially invited to join in the conference. The meeting will be inaugurated on 29th December at 11 A.M. at Rastrabhasa Pracharsamiti ground followed by cultural programme at 6 P.M.  An exhibition based on their daily livelyhood and tradition  will be displayed at the same place. On 30th December at 12 noon a big rally will march on the road to   Lower PMG, Bhubaneswar, where a public meeting will be held at 2 P.M. Sri Binaya Kumar Bhuyan, General Secretary of the Samiti was also present in the press meet.
