UBSS to observe Silver Jubilee today

Bhubaneswar: (visakeo)The RSS backed Utkal Biparana Sahayata Samiti will observe its Silver Jubilee Function here at Mancheswar Industrial Area on Saturday. National Joint General Secretary of RSS Suresh Rao Joshi( Bhaiyaji) will join as the Chief Speaker of the Silver Jubilee Function while State Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Secretary, Hrushikesh Panda( IAS) will attend the function as Chief Guest. UBSS State president Prasant Ballav Ray will preside the meeting, UBSS organising secretary Saroj Kumar Kar said on Friday. On this occasion, several noted persons will receive awards for their remarkable contribution in various fields. Pratap Rudra Beurai of Kulailo village of Athagarh, Manoranjan Das of Kalupadaghat, Khurda and BK Rout of Bhabanipatana, Kalahandi will receive the award for public service. Similarly, Maheswar Jena, of Patana, Jajpur and Kailash Pradhan of Tangana, Bhanjnagar, Ganjam will receive the award for social service. Meanwhile, the Silver Jubilee Function will be followed by a cultural programme. As many 31 inmates of the two Orphanage run by the UBSS at Rayagada and Parlakhemundi will perform various cultural shows. Students of Balmiki Sikhya Kendra run by the UBSS will also perform on this occasion. Besides, Yoga students of UBSS will also perform on various forms of Yoga.
