How long are Hindus going to elect Congress which is responsible for pathetic condition of cattle and cows !

Dead cattle given to slaughter house

Bhagyanagar (Andhra Pradesh) : Sri Varahlakshmi Nrusimha Swami Temple’s ‘Gou-shala’ at Simhachalam in Andhra Pradesh has become a torture camp for cows and cattle. More than 100 cows and calves donated to the ‘Gou-shala’ have died due to lack of fodder. It is learnt that the dead cows and cattle were then given to a slaughter house.
Many devotees make offerings of cows and calves after fulfillment of their wishes to Sri Varahlakshmi Nrusimha Swami Temple. In last few days, due to lack of fodder and water, cows and cattle from this ‘Gou-shala’ are starving. Inadequate space and heat is adding to their woos. There are about 500 cows and calves in this ‘Gou-shala’.
The Animal Preservation Department of the State has woken up with a start when pictures of dying cows were published by the media. (When media becomes aware of some issue, why the Government with all machinery at its disposal, cannot observe such things? Where then is the need for spending money on a Government if it wakes up after getting shaken up by media ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)  Many serious matters were brought to light after the Department raided ‘Gou-shala’. It was observed that the ‘Gou-shala’ workers were loading such cattle on tractor-trolley and carrying them to slaughter house taking benefit of darkness.

Provision of fodder and water made in ‘Gou-shala’ after Minister’s orders

Rural development Minister P. Balaraju visited the ‘Gou-shala’ with all pomp and Government machinery as the condition of ‘Gou-shala’ was brought to light and issued orders of inquiry. Now, fodder and water has been provided at this place. Also, cows, whose condition is serious, are being treated.
