Maoists deny role in Swamiji;s killing

Bhubaneswar: 10/9(VISAKEO): The People's Liberation of Guerrilla Army of the outlawed CPI (Maoists) on Wednesday strongly denied its involvement directly or indirectly in the killing of Swami Laxmananda Saraswati and his four disciples at Jalespata Ashram in Kandhamal district on August 23.

The claim of the outlawed outfit came to light after the locals and police recovered few posters at Raikia area of the district early on morning. "We have no role in Swamiji's killing, few people are trying to defame our image," the poster issued in the name of PLGA reads. It further reads "we would take stern action against, those who blaming us for the killing of Swamiji,"
