Bhubaneswar:10/9(VISAKEO), Under pressure Orissa Police 18 days after the brutal murder of the Hindu Seer Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and his four disciples at Jalespata Ashram in Kandhamal district, have issued sketches of two suspected killers on Wednesday. The Crime Branch of State Police, which is looking into the issue, has issued the sketches seeking information from public on the two suspected persons, sources said.
The CB prepared sketches of the duo on basis of description provided by the people who were present during the killing, police sources said. The youths, one in the age group of 20 to 25 years and the other between 30 and 35 years, were suspected to be prime accused in the incident. "Both the youths speak local language as spoken by the people in Koraput district," the sources said, adding both had moustaches and big eyes.
Meanwhile, the People's Liberation of Guerrilla Army of the outlawed CPI (Maoists) on Wednesday strongly denied its involvement directly or indirectly in the killing of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and his four disciples at Jalespata Ashram in Kandhamal district on August 23.
The claim of the outlawed outfit came to light after the locals and police recovered few posters at Raikia area of the district early on morning. "We have no role in Swamiji's killing, few people are trying to defame our image," the poster issued in the name of PLGA reads. It further reads "we would take stern action against, those who blaming us for the killing of Swamiji.
