Sangh hits back at Sonia, asks to control her emotion for Church

Bhubaneswar: :15/9(Visakeo)  Orissa unit of RSS, VHP on Monday hit back at Congress president Sonia Gandhi and asked her to control her emotion for the church people. The hard-hitting statement of the three outfits came hours after Sonia attacked on them and accused them of inflaming religious bigotry and enthusiasm through vicious communal campaign to divide the society in Orissa.

"The Congress President has no idea on history and her statement clearly demonstrates her emotions for church people," VHP said in a statement. On Friday, while addressing a Press conference here, VHP president Ashok Singhal had alleged that 10 Janpath putting pressure on Orissa Government to help the killers to escape easily.

"We strongly condemned Sonia's church appeasement statement and it was purely politically motivated to satisfy the minorities," VHP State general secretary Gouri Prasad Rath.  "What we are witnessing in states like Orissa most recently is a carefully orchestrated ploy by the BJP and its sister organisations to inflame religious prejudices and passions," Sonia told party officials at CWC meeting.

Referring to this, VHP said it was Sonia and few of her close aids, who actually orchestrated Swami Laxmananda Saraswati's murder and now trying to cover the matter. RSS State spokesman Simanchal Khatua accused Sonia as main conspirator behind Swamiji's killing asked the Congress Chief to refrain from church appeasement. Sonia only knows anti-Hindu propaganda, Khatua alleged.
