Police asking Church people to lodge FIR against Hindus

Bhubaneswar:15/9(Visakeo) Bajarang Dal national co-convener Subash Chauhan on Monday alleged that the police instead nabbing the killers of Swami Laxmananda Saraswati and four of his disciples, asking church people to lodge FIRs against Hindus.  

"The police asking church people to lodge FIRs against the Hindus otherwise they will lost their relief benefits," Chauhan alleged adding such incidents have been reported from Kandhamal and Balangir districts of the State. 
Where church people reluctant to lodge FIRs, police on their own lodging FIRs against the Hindus and illegally arresting them, the Bajarang Dal leader added. 

Citing an incident, Chauhan clarified that when Laxman Diggal and Sadananda Diggal( two Christian )denied lodging FIRs against the Hindus in connection with a house torch case in Barikama area of Kandhamal, police threatened them to stop their relief if they not lodge FIRs against the Hindus. Local OIC Nayak Babu taken signature of Balakrushna Joni of Phiringia and Prasad Kanar of Rabingia village and then taken signature of Sadananda and Laxman and lodged FIRs against innocent Hindus, he added. 

Both Sadananda and Laxman had told VHP State general secretary Gouri Prasad Rath that police pressuring them to lodge FIR against the local Hindus. He further alleged that police in Balangir, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Gajapati and several areas, have been illegally arresting Hindus without any valid reason.
