Dt.19.11.2007. Today in the village – Narua of Dist. Jagatsinghpur a
Organic Farming Training camp for the farmers was arranged by
"Bharatiya Kisan Sangha and Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti". Villagers
from many nearby villages were also found in the same camp enjoying
the gathering and taking part in the interaction actively. Sri Sisira
Kumar Parija – retired D.O. and Sri Beda Prakash Rath – a teacher and
a national trainer of Organic farming from the Art of living were the
guides conducting the program. All the possible processes were
discussed but the two Zero budget farming and "Agnihotra on Krushi "
caught the highest of interest from the farmers in general. Many were
found collecting the details of Agnihotra at the end. At the end Sri
Pradip Kumar Ray, the organizer for Bharatia Kissan Sangh. Orissa.
Talked to the villagers about the present need for getting orginised.
According to him it is high time that the farmers also need to come
under an organization to put forward their demands and fight for their
needs and rights. Overall it was very successful camp and such camps
are needed to be conducted in all blocks of our state

Food security for both the present and future generations depends on environmental preservation. GREEN is cognizant of this and values environmental preservation through sustainable organic farming practices. The three essential elements of the connection between agriculture and ecology—seed, soil, and water—are given priority in our activities. https://www.greenfoundation.in/why-we-do-this/
