Sikshya Sahayaks plan massive stir on Nov 26

Bhubaneswar(visakeo): Orissa Sikshya Sahayak Association on Sunday announced to gherao the State Assembly and holds a massive agitation here on November 26 demanding various issues. Speaking at a news conference here, Association president Rajesh Mohanty and general secretary Raghaba Mallick said that the teachers would hold demonstration at all district headquarters on November 23 and massive agitation would be held here at PMG square on November 26. The Association is demanding regulrisartion of their jobs, hike of salary and filling up existing vacancies in various Schools. The recent move of the State Government, in which it has been decided that the existing laws for the Sikshya Sahayakas would be amended and the SS would be regularized, the Association turned the decision was meant to suppress the original demands of the SS. Association office bearers including Khagendranath Pal, Sahasrasanu Mohanty, Prasant Mohapatra, Pabitra Mohan Jena, Mahendra Kumar Mishra and Sunil Kumar Mohanty were among those present in the press meet.
