Agriculture is primary to develop state-BKS
Bhubaneswer(visakeo)- Agricultural development is primary for overall development of a state like Orissa, said the organizing secretary of Bharatiya Kishan Sangha Sri Pradipta Kumar Ray in a state level rally and demonstration in Bhubaneswer.
According to Sri Ray the rally was organized to aware the state Government about farmer’s plight and demand to fulfill their demands submitted to the Governor in twenty one points. The points are to fix profitable price for agriculture product, stop to absorb agricultural land, massive irrigation programme, installation of agriculture based industry, establish cold store in every block, massive electricity supply to agricultural projects, stop to supply water to industry which is meant for the agriculture, 25 liter diesel or kerosene in subsidy to all pump set holder farmer, enhance like fishing other farming, implement Badyanath committee report in cooperative organization, cow slaughter should be banned, price of paddy should be fix minimum Rs1500 per quintal, this year should be declared as drought affected.
The rally started from unit-3 exhibition ground at 11am and the meeting was organized at lower pmg.
