Nun rape case trial adjourned to Wednesday

The fifth phase of hearing in the sensational Kandhamal nun rape case that was scheduled to begin on Tuesday was adjourned to Wednesday, when the nun and two other witnesses did not turn up before the Cuttack district session’s judge. While the nun in a miscellaneous petition informed the court that she was indisposed for personal problems, the witnesses who had been summoned also made separate pleas mentioning about the reasons for not being present in the court. Judge BK Mishra allowing all the pleas adjourned the case to be heard next on Wednesday.
