The GRP on Wednesday took Subhas on a 5-day remand for further interrogation after getting permission from Puri SDJM court.
Before going in remand, Subhas reveled these shocking facts and added that destroying public properties was their aim. He further revealed that he was introduced to the four persons at Kolkata and a plan of the fire mishap in train was planned out there. During the mishap, the four persons were present in Puri and monitoring him, he said. He admitted that he is unaware of their identities.
Notably, five bogies of three empty stationary trains were damaged as a major fire broke out in quick succession at Puri railway station on November 12. The fire broke out in New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan Express, Tirupati Express and Puri-Howrah Express when the trains were stationary at the railway station. Subas was loitering near the burning coach of Nandankanan Express. A knife, a blade and a match box were seized from him.
