Hindus should stand united against evil designs, Mohan Bhagwat



Bhubneswar, 23/01(VISAKEO)- Many faces have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this nation but the true liberty is far away in this country, highlighted the statement Mohandas Bhagavat, RSS, General Secretary at Janata Maidan here today evening on the eve of Sri Guruji Birth centenary anniversary celebration by Sri Guruji JanmaSatabdi Samaroha Samiti, Orissa.

We the people of India have got the freedom in the physical sphere but we have not tasted the real pleasure of freedom in the sphere of mind and human rights. This is the only reason that we hesitate to recite the national anthem Vandemataram and to give the Gomata (Cow) a special designation and to worship her as we worship other deities and lords, he said while speaking of liberty in true sense. He further focused on the contribution of Sri Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar to the Hinduism that how he could able to bring reform in the society by eradicating untouchability and stratum discrimination in the mind set during the long visit around 33 years of journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. With the help of the head of all the social order and castes organized in Varanasi a huge Hindu assembly he attempted his level best to construct a new India void of all the social disorder and to establish equality in the society. Hindus should stand united against all evil designs planted against it by the anti-Hindu fraternity. He said that religious spiritualism has been rising among the Hindus, which was a good sign. Earlier, five-band party team traversed the whole city with their different musical instruments to spread nationalistic spirit. Giving statement of the condition of our country, he asserted that the policy makers and the rulers have been changed and lost in the course of time but the mentality, the conduct and the policies have been constant. Thus the freedom is incomplete because of our weakness and vested interested. Hindustan is the nation of Hinduism and no one can deny nor avoid it but we are spoiling the concept of Hinduism – the Sanatan dharma coming contact with other interest and principle, he further added. In this ceremony the Vedanta man Swami Laxmanananda Sarasvati, blamed the current politics and policy makers who stand as the obstacle in the country and the development of Hinduism. The chief guest, former D.G in police department Ravinarayan Mohapatra focused on the cowardice activities of the people and suggested to go beyond this. He again advised to take oath for Akhandabharata in the assembly.

The General Secretary of Samiti Gopala Prasad Mohapatra had introduced the honorable guests including the saints and monks who had come from all over the country. More than 3000 Swayamsevaks were present and performing their Ghosh Badya (Military Band). The small children of Sarasvati Shisu Mandir had recited the devotional song of Sriguriji for the remembrance. The valedictory ceremony got over with the music of Vandemataram.

The first team started its journey from Sahid Nagar High School Ground and through Rupali Square, Regional College Square, Nicco Park, Kalinga Stadium Square, Jayadev Vihar and reach at Janata Maidan.

Followed by the second party which started its journey from Master Canteen Square and through Ram Mandir Square, Housing Board Square, Sashtri Nagar and Jayadev Bihar and reach at the site while third started from Unit-8 Sishu Mandir Ground and through Debray College Square, DAV School, Power House Square, Sashtri Nagar and Jayadev Vihar reached at Janata Maidan.

Fourth team started from Rental Colony and through Horticulture Square, Swapneswar Temple, Indradhanu Market, Biju Patnaik College square, May Fair Hotel Square reached at Janata Maidan and the fifth team started its journey from Niladri Vihar Sishu Mandir Square and through Saileshri Vihar Square, Damana Square, Housing Board Square, Chandrasekharpur Petrol Pump and Nalco Square reached at Janata Maidan.

The Ghosh Camp had been inaugurated by the RSS all India Ghosh Pramukh Jagdish Prasad on dated 20th of January in the evening. The organization also had made Panchasakha Mahanagar at Janata Maidan here, which is consist of two important Nagars i.e., Santha Kabi Vima Bhoi and Gana Kabi Vaishnavnath respectively. The Ghosh Player who had participated in the ceremony is from different classes and castes to prove the national integration. The All India coordinator of Hindu Jagaran Samukhya Harihara Nanda had inaugurated the exhibition on photos and paper clippings in the function. The State committee of the Organisation Anil Kumar Deuri, Mahadev Behera, Ajit Kumar Mohapatra, Jagdish Prasad Katanga, Sudarshan Dash, Simanchal Khatua, Bipin Bihari Nanda, Durga Prasad Sahoo and others were present in the ceremony and also trained the participants.
