Kalinga Nagar Police firing anniversary rent in the air

--JMM, CPI (ML) and SUCI observes Black Day
--Singur also figure in the protest

Bhubaneswar: The Brutal Police firing at Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district on Tuesday observed its anniversary with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, CPI (ML) and SUCI observed Black Day while Left Parties also took to street against the Police firing here in the State Capital. JMM president and MP Sudam Marandi joined the protest and alleged that even after one year of police firing the State Government has failed to separate tears from the eyes of the tribal. JMM staged demonstration at all the district and sub-division headquarters. Marandi said that JMM has all along supported the cause of the tribals of Kalinga Nagar. Marandi heaped abuses on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik saying he is only for the industrialists not for the common man He alleged that Naveen is harboring hatred for tribals and that is why after lapse of one year he did not even visited the Kalinga Nagar, forget to sort out the burning issue of displacement of tribals by the industrialists.

Activists of CPI (ML) and SCUI also slammed the State Government by saying a pro-industry Government (Visakeo)
