CRPF Jawans attack Hindu man in Kandhamal
Bhubaneswar: (visakeo)Pro-Church CRPF Jawans on Monday brutally assaulted Netramani Pradhan, a local Hindu and Samiti member of Rudangia Gram Panchayat in Kandhamal district.
CRPF Jawans, who were working at the behest of Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi stopped Pradhan, who was on his way to attend a peace meet hosted at district headquarters town in Phulabani and assaulted him without any valid reason.
The CPRF men were deployed for checking at various sensitive locations. Pradhan was badly injured and has been shifted to G Udayagiri Hospital for further treatment.
Pradhan was invited by the district administration to attend the meet, which held under the chairmanship of the District Collector. People of every walk of life attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, after the incident, thousands of people have gheroed the relief camp and demanding immediate withdrawal of Central Para-Military Forces. Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Baliguda, Sudha Singh is camping at the spot to pacify the tension.
