Hunger strike by Hindu seer enters into fifth day

Gajapati: (visakeo)-Hunger strike by Laxmi Baba of Mahendragiri Ashram here in protest against police excess against innocent tribals in the district on Thursday entered into fifth consecutive day here at Sub-Collector’s office at Parlakhemundi. Hundreds of disciples of the Hindu Seer are also sitting on hunger strike, sources said.
The Seer demanded to withdraw false cases against innocent Hindu tribals, those are languishing in various jails in South Orissa in connection with the Kandhamal riot.
