Swami Laxmananda Saraswati Sradhanjali Samiti insist Orissa Bandh on Dec 25

Bhubaneswar: Swami Laxmananda Saraswati Sradhanjali Samiti on Tuesday reiterated its earlier announcement to call Orissa Bandh on December 25 if the Orissa Government failed to nab the killers and conspirators behind Swamiji’s murder by December 15.

“We have still firm on our stand. We would call an Orissa Bandh Samiti in case failure of the investigating officials in nabbing the killers and conspirators by December 15,” Samiti president Dr Ratnakar Chaini said.

Justifying bandh call as logical and constitutional, Sradhanjali Samiti accused that the senior Church leaders and Congress President Sonia Gandhi are giving safe shelters to the killers while Orissa Chief Minster is also acting under pressure.

Referring to distribution of Maoists leaflets in State Capital, Dr Chaini alleged that the Church is trying to divert attention from the main issue while patronizing leftwing insurgency.

The Crime Branch of State Police improved a lot in connection with the fake gang rape of a nun while the same officials have failed to the nab the killers of Swamiji even after four months of the incident, he added.
