Maoists' writer is trying to defame us, charges RSS
Bhubaneswar: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Saturday strongly denounced the claim of arrested writer Lenin Kumar Ray, who has written a controversial book called, Dharma Nare Kandhamal Re Rakta Nadi.
"The write up was purely baseless and handiwork of vested interest pro-Maoists and pseudo-secularist elements to defame Sangh and it's work," RSS State spokesman Simanchal Khatua said.
Sangh condemning the write up and demanding a complete ban on its circulation and high level probe into the activities of pro-Maoists elements in the State Capital in particular and State in general, Khatua added.
Sangh since 1925 has been engaged in nation building. It has been creating nationalism among the countrymen not spreading hatred and communal feelings, he said referring to the arrested writer's claim in the book.
All fabricated information has been given in the book to boost its sale. We are requesting the State Government to take task of the anti-social elements, who are being defaming Sangh, he added.
"The writer has very poor knowledge on history, so he did mistakes while writing the book," Khatua lambasted.
