Mahadharnas of YAC concluded with resolve to eradicate Corruption

Thousand of students & youth today participated on the third and last day of Mahadharnas organised by Youth Against Corruption (YAC). Nationwide Mahadharnas on the issues of corruption & black money was attended by more than one lakh people in these three days at 25 places. Many activists of social, youth, non political organisations participated in this to make it more effective & intensive.

Many non political organisations in the country supported to this & gave such letters to YAC. YAC raised many issues related with corruption in these 72 hours mahadharnas. It demanded that present Parliament session should make effective law to curb corruption and take initiative to bring back black money to declare it national wealth. Today YAC National co-convener Vishnudatt Sharma in Raipur, another co-convener Ravikumar in Hyderabad, ABVP General secretary in Delhi, ABVP National Jt. Org. secretary Raghunandan in Bhubaneshwar, YAC National committee member Mantri Shriniwas in Bengaluru led these mahadharnas.

YAC organised a rally taking same issues in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. More than 5000 students & youth participated to express their outrage against corruption and black money. Addressing this rally ABVP National Org. secretary Sunil Ambekar told that UPA government is totally responsible for this rampant corruption. He listed the failures of this government. Thousands of students & youth pledged to dislodge this government, giving shelter to corruption & corrupt people, from the power. At Jantar-Mantar in Delhi Umesh Dutt has blamed that UPA government has brought the issue of FDI in retail to divert peoples' attention from corruption issue. But we are not fools, we will fight trenchantly with both the issues and will teach government a lesson.

Demand of overall systemic change was also raised in mahadharnas. YAC National convener Sunil Bansal told that we are working & will come out with concrete draft about electoral, police, administrative, education as well as judicial reforms. After encouraging response to these mahadharnas, he told YAC is determined for eradicating corruption and in coming days we will intensify our agitation to pressurise the central government.
