Bhubaneswar (Odisha) : A delegation of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Bharat Raksha Manch met the Governor of Odisha S.C.Jamir and handed over a memorandum addressed to the President of India on the recent killings of Indian army men in the Jammu & Kashmir border. The delegation has submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India asking his to exercise his powers as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to ensure that such action from the Pakistani Army are not repeated.
The delegation also demanded that the Indian government should not allow Pakistani artists and Cricketers to perform in this country due to the hostile actions of that country against us. Taking into consideration the incidences of breach of trust and attacks by Pakistan time and again, the offices of the High Commission of Pakistan in India should be immediately closed and India too should withdraw its consular staff from Pakistan.
The memorandum also stated that India should not hold any talks with Pakistan until an assurance is given that such acts will not be repeated. These atrocities and terrorist activities should be brought to the international fora and Pakistan should be declared a terrorist state.
The delegation have called for all nationalist organisations and parties to come together to condemn this dastardly act. The delegation comprised of Shri. Prakash Malondkar and Shri. Vinayak Shanbag of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Shri. Anil Dhir, Shri. Satish Satapathy and Shri. Kamalakanta Bastia of the Bharat Raksha Manch.
