Shimoga Sept 29: To commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, an Intellectual meet was held at Shimoga City which was attended by hundreds of select intellectuals.

RSS Senior Pracharak Na Krishnappa, Director of distance Education of Kuvempu University’s Dr  Venkateshwarulu, Industrialist and Member of Swami Vivekananda 150th Birth Anniversary Karnataka state committee HV Subramanya, Dharawad Akashavani’s Diwakar Hegade, Udupi’s SDM Ayurvedic College’s Professor Dr Jayakrishna Nayak and others were present, put forward their thoughts on Modern India and Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts.

The programme was held at Hotel Ashoka Samrat, BH Road of Shimoga and was organised by Swami Vivekananda 150 Birth Anniversary Committee of Shimoga.

RSS State General Secretary (Pranth Karyavah) N Tippeswamy was present.

ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ Sept 29: ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ೧೫೦ನೇ ಜನ್ಮವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸೆ.೨೯ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬಿ.ಹೆಚ್. ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಅಶೋಕ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧರ ವಿಚಾರಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
