RSS observes Vijaya Dasami, and worship the weapons.
BHUBANESWAR: With its aim to protect the country, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) had organized a weapons worship programme at Unit-II Girls’ High School premises here on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami on Tuesday. Around 250 RSS members participated in the Puja.
Addressing to the gathering, RSS Purba Kshetra Gram Vikash chief Ashok Padhi said,” We should dedicate ourselves to protect the integrity of our country.”The aim of the RSS is to unite the Hindus for development of the nation, he added.
The RSS members took out a procession across the city from the Unit-II Girls’ High School field before holding a meeting.
City coordinator of Sangh coordinator Dr Basant Kumar Pati chaired the meeting. Manoranjan Mohapatra the founder of Sujog ,a Software Company was present as the chief guest. Jayakrushna Prusty coordinated the programme.
