Bhubaneswar, 21/10/08 (VISAKEO): After the slain of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati Orissa is burning under communal riot and till now the masterminds and the Nun are out of reach of the police department. Under such chaos and skepticism, the government is talking about the security of Christianity and torturing the innocent Hindu people in Kandhamal in the name of secularism. Focusing these issues the Rastra Sevika Samiti has staged a mass dharna along with Durgabahini, Matrushakti, Sikshabikash Samiti, Jagrata Lekhika Mandal in the state capital today.
The main victim Nun named Meena Lalita Barua who is allegedly gang raped in the communal riot after an assassination of Swamiji, must be arrested at first who is howling the entire atmosphere with her false claim playing hide and seek game with the government by which Orissa is under condemnation. Stating to the media reports on the falsehood of her rape claim, the Zonal organizing secretary Susri Suchitra Mohapatra of the Rastra Sevika Samiti said that the Forensic Laboratory of Bhubaneswar has falsified the claim of rape of that Nun as there is not a single sign or material on her cloth she had put on the day she was allegedly raped. She said that again the history is going to be repeated of the false story of Nun’s rape, the claim had been proved false in LangalKatta Church near Baripada in the year 1999. It is a national shame that the Christian converts are lowering down the clear image of Orissa for the sake of a borrowed religion by allurement. She has appealed to the State government to arrest Nun soon to reach out the real matter behind the slain and the communal violence. The alleged victim should be arrested for the false claim against the Hindu people for which the whole community was condemned at the door of the Universe, she said. Though, it is the 60 days that have been passed of Swamiji’s slain along with his four associates who had dedicated their lives to the service of mankind and society, yet, no arrests is executed on the real culprits who are under the umbrella of government kindness, it is matter of shame for them who committed such crimes and lowering our State’s status abroad, she further added. At the dharna, hundreds of women from different groups have joined under the leadership Susri Suchitra Mohapatra. Smt. Sanjukta Panda, Bishnupriya Mishra, Latika Padhi of Matrushakti; Dr. Indulata Dash of Jagrata Lekhika Mandal, and Banalata Dash of Sikhshabit Samiti have participated and joined the rally in the capital.
