Naveen Patnaik: Limits of unilateralism
Naveen Patnaik: Limits of unilateralism

As BJP president Rajnath Singh welcomed former Union Minister Dilip Ray and former Nationalist Congress Party leader Bijoy Mahapatra into the party yesterday, close on the heels of the entry of BJD Lok Sabha MP Archana Nayak (21 March 2009), Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik suddenly lost his aura of invincibility.
Regardless of how BJP performs in the coming Parliamentary and Assembly elections, it will now be able to inflict damage upon its former ally, who unilaterally pronounced divorce upon an unsuspecting loyalist without giving due cause or notice, for purely selfish reasons.
Mr. Patnaik now faces the limits of unilateralism. The dubious manner in which his regime passed the vote of confidence with a voice vote on 11 March 2009 shocked the nation. But the hour of reckoning came just nine days later when Governor Murli Bhandare reported to the President that the Patnaik Government had failed to prove its majority on the floor of the House (20 March 2009).
Congress’ reluctance to impose President’s rule in the State – in contrast to the alacrity with which it rushed to do so in Meghalaya – suggests that it is unsure of its electoral chances in Orissa and possibly hopes to seal a tacit deal with Mr. Patnaik, either before or after the elections. With polls set for April 16 and 23, Mr. Patnaik is effectively a caretaker Chief Minister; BJP’s demand for President’s rule is intended only to embarrass the BJD and the Congress.
Whatever the merits of the survey on which Mr. Naveen Patnaik decided to sever ties with the BJP, it did not find resonance with many in his party, and was clearly not based upon internal inputs from the BJD grassroots. Thus, Lok Sabha MP Archana Nayak walked out in protest against the undue hold of Rajya Sabha MP Pyarimohan Mohapatra over the CM, whom she lambasted as a “spineless leader.”
Mr. Bijoy Mahapatra, a founding member of the Biju Janata Dal, was expelled from the party in 2000 when he fell out with Mr. Naveen Patnaik. A vigilance case was registered against him for criminal conspiracy and undue favour to a private contractor in the Upper Indravati project. In 2002, dissatisfaction with Mr. Naveen Patnaik led party rebels to challenge his leadership by getting BJD leader Dilip Ray elected to the Rajya Sabha as an Independent on 27 March. Mr. Ray had been expelled just 10 days before the elections, but won amid large-scale cross-voting by BJD and BJP members.
Meanwhile, the law and order situation in Orissa remains precarious with the regime utterly failing to arrest the murderers of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati, even as a local RSS leader was also gunned down on 19 March 2009, in the same Kandhamal district.
Mr. Prabhat Panigrahi, an RSS leader arrested after riots following the murder of Swami Laxmanananda on Janmasthami last year (23 August 2008), was gunned down after his release on 14 March, by 15 armed ultras at Rudiguma village. Once again, police blamed suspected Maoists, but it is time to question closely what the communal affiliation of this armed group is, given the fact that its targets are always Hindu saints or social activists serving the Hindu community.
The BJP has rightly decided to make the killing of a Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati an issue in the coming elections. Ms. Sushma Swaraj has pointed to the inadequate security extended to the Sant by the Naveen Patnaik administration, even though the threat to his life was well known. The Patnaik regime also went beyond the call of duty in rounding up suspects for the alleged rape of a nun, though the killers of the VHP leader have not been found so far.
For Mr. Naveen Patnaik, the denouement is just beginning. After breezing out of his 11-year old alliance with the BJP, he now faces tough negotiations with his new political friends who want a major chunk of the 147 Assembly seats and 10 of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Orissa. But the combined vote-share of the CPI, CPM, JMM and NCP, who together have only eight MLAs and one Lok Sabha MP, do not justify these ambitions, and given the contempt with which Mr. Patnaik treated the BJP’s claim to continue the old seat-sharing arrangement, it will be interesting to see how he handles this fractious lot.
As of now, BJD is reportedly willing to part with only 22 Assembly seats (keeping 125 to itself) and 3 Lok Sabha seats (retaining 18 for itself). With press reports suggesting that the JMM wants to contest 30 seats, NCP 62 seats, and CPM 22 seats, the stage seems set for “friendly fights” in yet another State.
What makes Orissa important from the nationalist point of view is the fact that India tests all her missiles from Chandipur-on-sea. Like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh, the sensitive Orissa coastline is the target of foreign missionaries (intelligence agencies?). The security implications are obvious, particularly after Mumbai 2008.

So, youth of the nation is utterly responsible.
ABVP has taken a decision to run a nationwide drive and to aware youth for voting. It will appeal Youth to think, to consider the nation’s betterment and to vote for it. We get right to vote at the age of 18. During this drive, we will appeal youth to think over the following national issues and then to vote.

2. Who will form laws against the one who are giving shelter to terrorism and will takehard steps against them being in Pak, Bangladesh and India.
3. Who will expatriate the Bangladeshi infiltrators and will take strong legal steps against them.
4. Who will hang Afzal till death instead saving his life
5. Who will discard new proposals put forth by Sacchar committee which are providing platform for partitions in nation outright.
6. Who will create new avenues of employment and education for youth
7. Who will stop commercialisation
8. Who will bring Indianisation in education
9. Who will stop appeasement in education field
10. Who will give first right to poor subjects on national resources and not to Muslims.
11. Who will respect the martyrs of nation.
12. Who will respect the heritage and cultural prides.

Missionaries are Colonialists
Missionaries are Colonialists
By Gregory F. Fegel
Christian missionaries make no secret of the fact that they use medical services, education, and employment opportunities to lure impoverished indigenous populations throughout the world into conversion to Christianity.
According to the popular and scholarly history of Christianity, the early Christian Church found its greatest appeal and attracted its greatest number of converts from the poor people of the Roman Empire. The early Christian churches raised money though a tithe, or ten per cent income tax, levied on their members, and the early Christian Church is said to have had a strong “sense of community”, which implies that it had a well-organized social, financial, and political network among its membership.
Using your wealth to purchase other people’s loyalty is a game as old as humanity itself. Rich men use their wealth to attract women, unscrupulous employers use material incentives and disincentives to manipulate their workers, and wealthy countries like the USA use their national wealth to keep their citizens loyal to the cause of aggressive and genocidal Imperialism. But historical longevity and common practice don’t make the manipulation or exploitation morally or ethically right.
Organized religions are inherently POLITICAL organizations. There is a fundamental difference between the financial enterprise and political machinations of an organized religion versus a mass of independent unaffiliated believers, philosophers, and mystics who do not support any organized religion.
Christianity and Islam are known as proselytizing religions because they make an organized and systemic effort to gain converts, and they often provide services, products, or employment to attract converts. Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism show far less zeal about gaining converts, which is why you almost never hear about Jewish, Hindu, or Buddhist missionaries.
Modern medical and nursing schools usually teach their students the moral principle that the provision of medical services should never be used as a means to proselytize or promote a religion, but that does not deter many Christian health care providers from doing exactly that. Most of the medical and charitable organizations based in Christian countries are fronts for Christian proselytizing activities.
One of the largest international medical relief organizations based in the USA, Northwest Medical Teams, states in their recruitment brochure that their chief “mission” is to “spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ”, that their medical relief services are subordinate to their stated goal of proselytizing Christianity, and that their medical relief work is merely an “aegis”, or facade, for spreading Christianity.
The religious and cultural Imperialism performed by missionaries nearly always goes hand-in-hand with political and economic Imperialism. Christian missionaries often work in partnership with the CIA, with the US government, and with wealthy corporations to subvert the religion, the culture, the economy, and the politics of vulnerable indigenous populations. The CIA often uses planes owned by Christian missionary organizations and flown by Christian missionary pilots to smuggle drugs, arms, and prisoners.
During the CIA’s illegal Iran/Contra scam of the 1980s, Christian missionary pilots and planes smuggled drugs into the USA and arms into Central America and Iran. Now the CIA is using Christian missionary planes to smuggle heroin from Afghanistan, cocaine from Latin America, and for “rendition” flights of “Terrorist” prisoners to secret prisons that practice torture and commit extra-judicial executions.
The USA’s Faith Based Initiative law provides Christian missionary organizations with taxpayer funds that are used to proselytize Christianity to indigenous populations throughout the world. Christian missionaries are the leading edge of a religious, cultural, economic, and political aggression supported by the US government.
When missionaries bring outside wealth to an impoverished Third World country and use that wealth to provide services that are meant to attract converts, they are interfering with the local social and economic structure as well as the local cultural traditions. Indigenous people who take advantage of the privileges provided by the missionaries and convert to Christianity partake in a social organization that uses foreign wealth as a tool to eliminate the indigenous culture and replace it with Christianity.
A small and reclusive population of a few hundred people with a primitive Stone Age culture lives on North Sentinel Island, in the Andaman chain, which is administered by the government of India. To protect the culture of the inhabitants of North Sentinel Island, the Indian government has wisely banned anyone from visiting the island. I approve of the Indian government’s policy of protecting the unique culture of the North Sentinels from outside influence. If anyone on North Sentinel Island should ever desire to leave, they could build a boat and do so.
Among a total of 195 nations in the world today, fifty-seven of those nations have a legally established, official State Religion. There are fourteen nations that claim Christianity as their State Religion, twenty-six nations that claim Islam as their State Religion, six nations that claim Buddhism as their State Religion, and the Jewish State of Israel. The Jewish State of Israel discriminates against its non-Jewish citizens and within its borders Israel officially prohibits the proselytizing of any religion other than Judaism. Many people believe that Israel has a right to exist in this manner as a Jewish State.
Many Islamic countries strive to protect the cultural identity of their citizens by enforcing a ban on preaching any religion but Islam. Considering the aggressive, insidious, and highly political nature of Christian missionary programs, the banning of non-Moslem religious preaching by Moslem governments makes sense.
Currently there is no officially Hindu State anywhere in the world, but perhaps India should become a Hindu State in order to protect its indigenous religion and culture from the predatory missionaries and State-sponsored cultural Imperialism that are coming from both Christian and Moslem countries. If the Jews have the right to establish and maintain Israel as a Jewish State, then the Hindus certainly have a right to establish and maintain India as a Hindu State.
When Western leaders talk about a “Clash of Civilizations”, what they really mean is Judeo-Christianity and corporate Capitalism versus all non-Christians and non-Capitalists. Christian missionaries are essentially colonialists working for Christian cultural Imperialism.
When the Hindus of India rise up in riot and drive out the Christian missionaries and the Christian “cash converts”, they are doing what the Iraqi, Afghani, and Palestinian Freedom Fighters are doing. They are protecting themselves and their indigenous culture from wealthy and unscrupulous invaders who have no respect for them or their culture. I wish the Hindu nationalists well in their efforts to defend and maintain the independence and survival of their indigenous culture and religion against the onslaught of predatory and disrespectful foreigners whose goal is to replace indigenous traditional cultures with a global Christian empire.
If Christian missionaries want to come to India and try to make converts to Christianity, let them come with empty pockets and compete on a level playing field. And if most of the locals don’t want the missionaries interfering with their traditional way of life, they have the right to make the missionaries and their converts leave.

Some Frank Advice to BJP
Some Frank Advice to BJP
By Jai Prakash Sharma
From BJP’s election preparations it appears that the party has already mentally accepted defeat in the forthcoming elections. It seems that it has been cowed down by the propaganda of anti-Hindu forces and conceded that Hindutva is communal and that it must compete for votes on a purely “secular” (as defined by the UPA constituents) agenda and give no room for being seen as a “communal” party. By doing so it is only inviting contempt from its original constituency who were already disgusted by the BJP led NDA government’s evident spinelessness in addressing issues of core concern to the vast majority of Hindus. If the BJP leadership thinks that it will have a better chance of winning allies by watering down its commitment to the Hindu cause it will end up only as a pale shadow of the Congress.
Here are some points which the BJP leadership will do well to ponder over:-
What are the sections of the citizenry that the BJP can reasonably expect to support it. The Muslims are clearly out. So also would be the followers of the rabidly Tamil Parties in TN and the reds in WB and other Naxal infested regions as well as the Christists in Orissa ,Andhra Pradesh and elsewhere . It is only the Hindus on whose support the BJP can hope to come to power. But will they support it? The experience of the recently held elections in Delhi should have been an eye opener. If the BJP fights the election on the issue of development, the voters will have to choose between two parties promising to deliver the same product. The BJP will be unable to match the powerful propaganda of the Congress (howsoever false or exaggerated its claims may be) and there is no way it can convince the electorate (except in Modi’s Gujarat) of delivering a superior performance. Its traditional constituency –the Hindus will then have no option other than supporting good candidates of other parties or to refrain from voting altogether.
The important issue for Hindus is not development but the discriminatory treatment meted out to them in a country where they are in a majority. They are looking for a party which can be depended upon to champion their cause. If the BJP is unable to speak for them, why should the Hindus vote for it? The Hindus only want to be secure in their homeland and to be treated equally with all other Indians. What objection can there be to this demand? The BJP leadership must understand that policies promoting the division of Indians on the basis of religion, caste, region, language etc. are extremely harmful to national interest and it should be bold enough to say so.
ISSUES OF CONCERN TO HINDUS : RAMPANT ISLAMIC JIHAD
Only those oblivious of Indian history and ignorant of the true nature of Islam (and they form an overwhelming majority of Indians and particularly Hindus) are unable to see the looming Islamic Jihad threatening to engulf India. Several dimensions of the Jihad problem are:--
Terrorist attacks which have been continuing for the last 20 years---attackers including foreigners and Indian Jihadis.
Alarming increase in Muslim population through illegal immigration and faster breeding coupled with increasing stridency of Muslim demands. No Muslim is prepared to subordinate his identity as a Muslim to his Indian identity. Assam, West Bengal, many pockets in UP, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh are already having areas of Muslim predominance.
Vicious and ceaseless campaign to demoralize the security forces, by direct attacks, demands for enquiry against defenders of the nation against terrorist attacks, street violence on allegations of insult to Islam or injustice to Muslims-( reaction to Danish Cartoons, Bush visit, hounding out of Taslima Nasreen , Batla House encounter where hostile mobs attacked police vehicles and shouted slogans like Pakistan Zindabad, Hindustan Murdabad etc. right in New Delhi , Indian flags being held upside down by the Ulemas demonstrating at Jantar Mantar; bullying of Statesman by Jihadis in Kolkata for the offence of reproducing an article published by Independent of UK etc.etc.) all illustrate the aggressive attitude of Indian Muslims.
Vast Islamist funds flowing into India from Pakistan, Middle East, and from Islamists elsewhere.Virulent anti state propaganda promoting feelings of victimhood among Muslims by media (particularly the TV / English & Urdu press), NGOs, some Muslim Political parties and collaborators.
The response of the GOI has been denial, cover-up and token action. It is well known that Muslims can not peacefully coexist with others. India lost a third of its territory in 1947.The way things are going it looks certain that (1) there will be another partition within a few years or (2) if the Muslims decide to wait a little longer the whole country will become an Islamic republic. Knowing what happens to Hindus in Muslim majority countries the Hindus are naturally apprehensive. BJP must boldly announce what steps it will take to counter the Jihadi menace.
ASSAULT BY EVAGELISTS: Next to the jihadis the evangelists constitute the most serious threat to India. Most of North –East India has already been Christianised. Orissa, Andhra Pradesh are under serious threat. Backed by vast funds from the west and their powerful Indian politicians the evangelists are relentlessly pursuing their programme of converting Hindus and planting churches in all parts of India. The Christian population has increased much faster during Sonia Gandhi’s rule than ever before. While the unconverted Hindus do not expect to be slaughtered if the Christians come to wield power, the threat of secession of Christian majority parts gets more serious and the foreign and domestic policies of India are liable to come increasingly under the influence of Christian west . The threat of humiliation of Hindu religion and culture will increase many fold. There is urgent need for stopping conversions brought about by offering incentives of various kinds.
DISCRIMINATION AGAINST HINDUS:In independent India, inheritor of the Gandhi-Nehru ideology, Hindus have been suffering severe discrimination in several respects. UPA Prime minister declared in blatant disregard of all Constitutional promises of equality and definitions of Secularism that the minorities and particularly the Muslims have the first claim on the nation’s resources!!! This discrimination has become all pervasive. SCs, STs,OBCs,Minorities have been receiving favours in the matter of educational facilities and employment opportunities while children of equally poor families are denied all benefits just for the crime of being Hindus. Government grants to Muslims and Christians for religious purposes e.g. for Haj for Muslims and journey to Bethlehem for Christians are a blot on secularism. Figures of direct govt grants to Churches and Muslim institutions by the government of Andhra Pradesh reveal this misuse of the taxpayers money. Most galling is the fact of huge sums of money donated by Hindu devotees to their temples being used by the governments for grants to Muslims and Christians. Hindus demand that their places of worship be freed of Government control and administered solely by representatives of the community and temple funds used only for such purposes as are approved by Hindu Acharya Sabha or similar such respected body.
Religious and cultural issues agitating Hindus:
Reconstruction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Preservation of Ram Setu, Restoration/reconstruction of the temples at Varanasi and Mathura .
Removal of distortions from history being taught in schools and colleges; impetus for scholars, scientists, archaeologists etc to promote research for gaining better knowledge about our past.
Impetus needs to be given for the promotion of Sanskrit and Hindi.; improving career prospects of students taking higher courses in Sanskrit and other Indian languages.
Improving Hindutva representation in electronic and print media to mitigate the stranglehold of the Islamists, Evangelists, Marxists, Macaulayites and Nehruites.
ISSUES OF GENERAL NATIONAL CONCERN:
Apart from the matter of discrimination there are several other issues which should be of equal interest to all citizens. These are Governance---all matters of government activity need to be rid of corruption, favoritism, inefficiency and delays. The two most important matters which must be given top priority are corruption and defects in the system of administration of justice, particularly criminal justice. Investigation and prosecution of criminal cases must be absolutely impartial and efficient and delivery of justice must be made fair and fast.
Money in illegal foreign bank accounts
Common Civil Code
Abolition of Art 370
Barring of criminals from contesting elections.
Curbing use of black money in elections.
ORGANIZATIONAL ISSUES FOR THE PARTY:
The BJP seems to be facing severe organizational problems. Many of its senior leaders not only seem to have fickle loyalties but are so madly power hungry that if power is denied to them or to their nominees they have no compunction in openly swearing to seek destruction of the party (as evidenced by the conduct of some top leaders e.g. Bhairon Singh Shekhavat, Kalyan Singh, etc). Narendra Modi is of course universally admired. Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Raman Singh are reputed to be clean but a large number of ministers/ex-ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Karnataka are widely believed to be thoroughly corrupt. The UP BJP leadership has the poorest image. Why can the BJP not find honest persons to take up leadership positions? And why are honest and competent people like Jag Mohan ignored? The party has to ponder how these problems can be addressed. There seems to be impressions that even if talented people join the party they will only remain at the fringe. Perhaps the party can benefit by prescribing strict limits for tenure of important leadership positions. It must consider discouraging heredity as stepping stone to leadership positions as also rewarding turncoats. Another suggestion could be to have think tanks composed of independent experts for formulating policy and independent impartial advisory groups to warn the party whenever it is found making wrong decisions.

Family legacy and the Varun effect
Family legacy and the Varun effect

Those who opposed the Ayodhya temple movement, wore silence over the plight of Kashmiri Hindus, damaged the Ram Sethu and denied Lord Rama ever existed, denied the violence at the Godhra railway station, and embraced the butchers of 1984, are collectively gunning at Varun Gandhi's political life.
Column after column by Padma Shris in the media have created an atmosphere where supporting Varun has become a sin. Why? The simple reason is that the farmhouse of Gandhi-Nehru politics has been broken and a scion of the family chose to speak out as his conscience directed.
More than what Varun said or didn't say, it is the hurt and bewilderment over the loss of a Gandhi to the saffron brigade that has made the media and anti-Hindutva politicos react with such venom and acid. He was not heard, not given a chance to present his case, nor did forensic experts examine the so-called proof in the form of a CD containing his speech.
Varun has suddenly dwarfed the media-supported Rahul.
Nobody has ever heard a dynasty member to say with understandable assertion that he or she is a Hindu. Rather, they have always tried to look differently at things. They banned Hindu organisations, imposed the Emergency, removed basic human rights, never willingly facilitated the Sikh massacre probe, rewarded hardened criminals, made alliance with those who were convicted for murder or were facing scandalous charges, had the Muslim League join the government after Partition. Yet, they are nice, decent, peace-loving, patriotic democrats who love to tell others: 'Go read the Gita.'
When Indian soldiers were fighting Pakistani marauders in 1947, we didn't have enough jeeps. So orders were placed with the British company and supply demanded immediately. Our high commissioner in London V K Krishna Menon, Pandit Nehru's blue-eyed boy, messed it up. The jeeps reached a year late.
That was the first scandal in independent India.
We lost Gilgit, Baltistan and Skardu. We lost Aksai Chin because the government in New Delhi didn't know the exact boundaries and so no patrolling was being done there.
In all we have lost 125,000 square km to the Pakistanis and Chinese during Congress rule.
Plus we had a bad dream called 1962.
At that time our ordnance factories were making coffee machines as Pandit Nehru openly argued against having a well-equipped large army for defence. 'Who is going to attack us?' he would ask.
And people still remember the mysterious death of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, who simply wanted Kashmir to be a part of India like Bihar or Bengal and the permit system to enter the valley be abolished. Kashmir had two rulers then, its ruler was called Sadr e Riyasat or 'head of state', and it had a prime minister. Mookerjee's martyrdom compelled the Nehru government to remove the permit system and the two heads of state.
Then we had the Mundhra scandal, the Nagarwala case, the L N Mishra murder. The Jana Sangh's fast-emerging leader Deendayal Upadhyaya was murdered. A Congress leader canvassed openly against the official Presidential candidate and supported her own choice as independent nominee. The original Congress symbol was a pair of oxen. After the official Congress broke up, they got the hand as a temporary symbol till the case is finally settled. It would never be.
Opposing Sonia Gandhi's sudden rise in politics only on the grounds of her foreign origin were leaders like Sharad Pawar and P A Sangma. Old Congressmen still feel sad that they lost dynamic and promising leaders of substance like Rajesh Pilot, Madhavrao Scindia and Jitendra Prasada, who could have steered the Congress on an entirely different and strong nationalist course. And a veteran like Sitaram Kesri was humiliated no end.
The only non-dynasty prime minister to run a Congress government for full five years successfully was insulted even in his death and his body-in-state was not allowed to enter the Congress headquarters in New Delhi. An airport in his home state to be named after him was opposed to by Congressmen although the proposal was put forth by an Opposition leader.
This is how they treat their party leaders not belonging to the family. They amended, abused and twisted the Constitution, put the entire Opposition behind bars for an undisclosed period and were harsh on the unyielding masses.
Yet, they are the democrats and secular lighthouse of freedom of expression and liberty.
They kept India backward in such a planned manner that even after 62 years of independence we are yet to have a spacious functional airport in the national capital, 70,000 farmers committed suicide in one year, decorated soldiers returned their medals in protest and a movie on our poverty-stricken 'slum dogs' fetches the Oscar. And they loved illegal infiltrators for the sake of their votes -- and still they say they are the inheritors of a freedom struggle that demanded the ouster of aliens.
No electoral reforms, no police reforms or strengthening their morale and weapons, the administration is still run the way it functioned during the Sahebs; and despite having won a well-fought war in 1971 we couldn't settle the Kashmir issue or control the jihadi tail-wagger in the neighbourhood.
Minorities were so well supported in Congress regimes that in the sixth decade after independence they felt a need to provide special crutches for them. Show the 'M' card and get the privilege, became the new secular psalm, further shrinking the space and opportunities for the condemned majority.
More than anything else they tried to wreck the morale of the assertive Hindus who faced the onslaught of invaders for 12 centuries with unparalleled bravery and with invincible spirit to protect their culture and the fragrance of the land. They deserved to be comforted most after a fractured independence and a massacre that was thrust upon them by a weak Congress leadership. Yet, a large section of Hindus today feel cheated and anguished.
They form governments in 12 states, prove they can run the country beautifully with a coalition of 25 parties with diametrically opposed ideologies. And one of their Swayamsewaks unfurled the tricolour six times from the ramparts of the Red Fort as the prime minister, impressed world leaders and the international media with a record of infrastructure-building, communication revolution and women's empowerment, chose a Muslim to be the President and conducted Pokhran II by fooling the CIA's 'eyes', and resisted extraordinary world pressure and sanctions.
Yet, they are called anti-development, anti-women, even anti-social. In not a single so-called mainstream media outlet are their views published, but every news item is scanned to hurl stones on them through editorialising on the front-page.
Still, they are the very objective face of our independent media.
The choicest abuses used by 'decent guarantors of the freedom of expression' columnists and editorial-writers can be collected as a bouquet of India's uncivilised lexicon, yet their films against the very spirit of Hindu nature get widely supported by a regime that survives on Hindu money and votes.
Their love for development and secularism is so deep that they can send dredgers to destroy a million years of faith and marine life because that was Ram Sethu, but won't dare to touch a six feet by six feet dargah in the middle of the road blocking the highway and causing accidents, for fear of annoying a vote-bank.
And then they say, they are the future of India.

ABPS-Final_Prativedan_-2009
P.P. Sarsanghchalak ji, respected national office-bearers and members of the national executive; respected members of ABKM, newly elected delegate brethren; brother and sister activists engaged in the allied organizations and special invitees!
As always, we would elect the new Sarkaryavah in this ABPS meeting besides reviewing our activity and drafting plans for taking it forward. It is but natural that we are overwhelmed on such occasions by the memories of our colleagues and other activists who have worked actively for our cause or for the country and are no longer with us today.

The reports available also show that excellent plans were made in all Prants for daily and occasional activities and they were conducted in a successful manner. As a
result a favorable atmosphere has been created all over and it helped in expanding and consolidating our work. This is the experience of all our functionaries.
Consistency in the activities initiated in the last year is also noteworthy. A few programmes are being reported here as examples.

Relief for the flood victims in Bihar
As soon as the Kusaha bund gave way on 18th August 2008 unprecedented floods started in Kosi river. The river changed its course by 115 km. This unprecedented flood affected 62,96,691 families in 1058 villages of 35 blocks from 5 districts. Swayamsevaks took this calamity as a challenge and plunged into relief work which is continuing to this date. Young Swayamsevaks of Janki Prabhat Shakha of Veerpur, working against several odds, saved 260 people by using long ropes and coursing through the swirling flood waters on 18th, 19th, 20th August. Swayamsevaks have saved around 1800 people in 494 villages from the fury of the flood. Engineer Madan Sharma, a Swayamsevak from Khagaria district and Randhir Thakur another Swayamsevak from Darbhanga district sacrificed their lives in their effort to protect the people.

As always, the entire society stood by us in these service activities everywhere in the country.
Activities like these that give impetus to our organizational reach, expansion and consolidation and the service undertaken at the time of disasters help in hastening our social consolidation process. Events in the last session once again showed to us that the only answer to the present day challenges lies in an awakened and organized society.
Scenario
Several auspicious events like - the launching of Chandrayan into the outer space, Vishwanathan Anand winning world championship in Chess, Indian film winning Oscars etc - took place after the Varsh Pratipada Yugabd 5110 (2008 AD). Yet the common man is facing a lot of problems in his immediate vicinity. We managed to escape a little from the wrath of the economic recession due to our age-old economic practices. Yet we are experiencing a scenario of gradual degeneration in the country due to the coalition of three evil forces i.e. domestic and global forces which view the geographical integrity of this country and its unique Hindu identity as impediments in the path of their self interest; the corrupt and inefficient policies of the governments and administration; and vote bank politics. This process is still on. In the absence of a self-confident and valiant response from the society these forces are becoming more blatant.
A piece of land was allocated to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board for making arrangements to the pilgrims of Shri Baba Amarnath after a due legal process, unanimous resolution of the Cabinet and guidelines from the courts. However, certain politicians in their desperation to cling on to power joined hands with anti-national forces resulting in the act of that land being taken back by the Alliance Government of Jammu and Kashmir. When the people rose to get justice, and to protect their self-respect and centers of veneration, threats of secession were issued waving Pakistani flags. Yet the 60-day long relentless agitation has finally destroyed the intransigence of the anti-national forces and the arrogance of power of the rulers. Everyone from the Center to the State was forced to capitulate before the soul of Bharat that was manifest in the hearts of the people. At the commencement of this session itself, the Amarnath agitation has showed us the way to conquer over all our problems and the global forces that are inimical to our nation. Patriotic people of Jammu and Laddakh do not just deserve our compliments alone; they have to be emulated.
While the agitation was going on in Jammu, similar forces indulged in the heinous murder of Pujya Swami Laxmanand Saraswati at Kandhmal in Utkal. Swamiji was service-incarnate, pleasant and affectionate. He was a staunch opponent of illegal cow slaughter and conversions.
The Janmastami day was deliberately chosen for this brutal murder in order to rub salt into the wounds of Hindus. This region was already in the grip of severe unrest last year due to the conflict between the Kandhs and Panas over the distribution of governmental benefits. There was a strong reaction when the aggressive evangelical forces tried to take advantage of this conflict by resorting to the barbarous murder of Swamiji. The government, which showed utter insensitivity to the daily threats of life being received by Swamiji, his security, illegal conversions, cow slaughter and the atrocities of the extremists etc, suddenly became over-active against Hindus. A brutal oppression was unleashed against Hindus irrespective of whether they were innocent or culprits.
The murderers of Swamiji and the conspirators are still at large while cases were foisted against more than 1200 innocent Hindus.
The Hindu society decided to call for a Bandh on 25 December to press for its demand of the arrest of the murderers of Swamiji and the conspirators; but called it off after the administration gave a commitment in writing that they will be immediately arrested. Yet there was no proper response from the government for this restraint and decent behaviour. The Oriya media was highlighting the reality correctly whereas the other, especially the English media took a very biased view of the events. The episode of Swamiji’s murder was completely brushed under the carpet by them and the whole blame was sought to be heaped at the doorstep of the Hindu society.
On the pretext of the involvement of some Hindu youths and a Sadhvi in the Malegaon blast case these hard-line fundamentalist and secessionist forces have tried to create an illusionary and self-contradictory lie called ‘Hindu Terrorism’. While the allegations against those accused were yet to be proved in a court of law there was a strange and clandestine effort to leak the information relating to the investigations regularly to the media. Thus all of them were held guilty by the media even before the matter went before the courts. Ridiculous aspersions were cast on our security forces; shameless and reprehensible attempts were made to defame Hindu saints, society and organizations by dragging them into this controversy. Silly, baseless and unbelievable allegation was made against an organization like Sangh, which is striving relentlessly
for last 83 years for the well-being of our nation, that it receives funds from foreign spy agencies. In order to hide their discredited failure in tackling terrorism Hindu-hating political forces joined hands with the forces that are out to destroy the morale of the Hindu society and tried to put up Hindu society at par with the utterly communal and anti national violent forces, thus hoping to harvest votes in the coming Lok Sabha elections. But this plan didn’t work on the awakened Indian society which is greatly agitated over the atrocities on Saints and Sadhvis.
This sinful nexus between the selfish politicians and anti-national forces was thoroughly exposed by the dastardly terrorist attack on Mumbai on 26 November. The attack came to an end after 60 hours of battle involving the sacrifices of the officers and the soldiers of our army, police, ATS and other security forces and the courage of our countrymen. But anger and pain that was simmering in the hearts of the ordinary people who were living in the shadow of this terror threats for years burst out like a volcano.
Smt. Salaskar summarized this agony in a single question from the dais in Panvel Ghosh Shivir - “How many more will have to become the ‘Veer Patnis’ (wives of martyrs) in this country?”
This terrorist attack has clearly established the support the terrorists are getting from within the country. In the light of this revelation ever increasing infiltration from across Bangladesh border acquires serious significance. The ABVP undertook a disciplined and comprehensive programme of social awakening on this issue through a hugely successful student rally against infiltration at Kishanganj and through several other programmes. But driven by political self interest our government and administration betray utter inability in tackling both terrorism and infiltration.
Shri Amarnath agitation showed us the path to respond successfully to all such challenges. Economic downfall of America is indicating the end of the era of half baked foreign theories. When the society stands-up with immense pride in its own identity, and a firm resolve to live and die for the country, Dharma, culture and society, then only it would be able to create a democratic polity that will throw up enlightened rulers and efficient administration. All types of scheming, conspiracies, terrorism and atrocities will be powerless in the face of the enlightened and united society. Learning lessons from the past experiences and remaining alert to the interest of our nation we must ensure hundred percent voting in the coming elections. Staying out of day to day politicking and party politics and remaining within our limits we all have to undertake this responsibility.
Call
This period of challenge is also an invitation to our gallantry and an opportunity to achieve victory through our valour. Need of the hour is to awaken this bravery and valour in the Hindu society spread out in countless villages across the country from Himalayas to the Indian Ocean. Let all of us strive to expand and consolidate still further our already existing nationwide network to enable our society to effectively respond to all the challenges it is facing, by adopting appropriate strategies and techniques.
It is an unflinching challenge to the whole world,
May they feel good or bad about it,
That we are determined to pursue our national mission,
Everready to take the threats head-on.
Such a society alone is the answer to all the evils; response to all the threats; exclamation of victory and the only foundation for the all-round glory of our nation. The Sangh is engaged in creating such a society.
As always, we would elect the new Sarkaryavah in this ABPS meeting besides reviewing our activity and drafting plans for taking it forward. It is but natural that we are overwhelmed on such occasions by the memories of our colleagues and other activists who have worked actively for our cause or for the country and are no longer with us today.

result a favorable atmosphere has been created all over and it helped in expanding and consolidating our work.

Resolution No. 1
Crush Terror Networks
The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) condones the death of a large number of people, including senior army and police officials, in the dastardly terrorist attack on Mumbai on 26 November 2008. It extols the gallant actions of the members of our counter-terrorism agencies that led to the capture of one and elimination of many other terrorists.
Bharat has been a victim of Jehadi terrorism for decades. The Mumbai attacks have once again established the fact that Pakistan is the epicentre of global terrorism. Evidence gathered by the investigating agencies points to the involvement of various Pak agencies in providing training, logistics support and tactical guidance to the perpetrators of Mumbai terror.
The ABPS is of the firm opinion that the degeneration of Pakistan has turned it into a rogue state. Recent developments in that country like the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team and SWAT Valley political turmoil clearly suggest that it is gradually slipping into the hands of Taliban which is tacitly supported by a section of the Pakistan Army and the ISI. News of Taliban takeover of Peshawar and their increasing presence in cities like Karachi must ring alarm bells in Bharat.
The ABPS calls upon the Government to prepare our internal and external security mechanism to effectively tackle the impending danger from across the western border. Mumbai attack has highlighted the need for better preparedness of our agencies in such eventualities. Loopholes in maritime intelligence, coast guard security, real-time intelligence, preparedness of the counter-terrorism units etc have been exposed by the Mumbai attack.
A matter of further concern for the ABPS is the lack of political will in taking strong and effective measures even after such major incidents. What the country witnessed in the last few months was mere rhetorical demagogy sans any real action. The new anti-terror law brought in hurriedly under public pressure in the aftermath of the Mumbai attack remains just hogwash with no real strong measures present in it. The National Investigation Agency – NIA – too remains toothless in the absence of a clear mandate. That the Government is guided by extraneous political considerations is clear from the audacious statements of some cabinet ministers almost exonerating Pakistan and suggesting that the Mumbai attacks could be a result of certain local developments.
The ABPS decries the ever-growing tendency of our governing class to rush to the US and other countries beseeching their help in our battle against terrorism. We must be clear that while diplomatic initiatives are important, our problems are not going to be solved by others and we ourselves should proactively work towards protecting our national interests.
The ABPS wants to underscore the most important message that the Mumbai terror attack has given us is that there are several Jehadi elements within our country that actively connive with the terror agencies across the borders. The Government’s deceptive silence on this crucial factor gives rise to a strong suspicion that it is trying to shield culprits with an eye on vote banks.
In the light of the situation described above, the ABPS calls upon the Government to:
• Enhance counter-terrorism capabilities of our security agencies and equip them fully with necessary retaliatory competence in such a way that no future terror attacks are possible.
• Bring stringent laws on the lines of the POTA, the MCOCA etc. Give assent to the anti-terror laws enacted by various states including Gujarat and Rajasthan.
• Destroy the local support network in the form of sleeper cells and terror modules.
• Strengthen intelligence gathering network and create a united command for combating terror.
• Train various agencies including media and civilian population in counter-terrorism measures.
• Not allow political considerations to overshadow the battle against terror.
The ABPS congratulates people and the media for showing courage and resolution in steadfastly opposing the activities of the terrorists and their sponsors and urges that they continue to exert pressure on the Government to take tough measures in tackling this menace.
Resolution No.2
Policy of Religious Discrimination Dangerous for National Integrity
The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) considers it highly unfortunate that the policy of Muslim appeasement pursued by the British, which resulted in the vivisection of our motherland, is continuing even after 62 years of our independence. Sadly, the policy makers, instead of trying to build a cohesive society on just and equitable principles, are engaged in dividing the society for narrow political benefits overlooking the grave implications for our national security and integrity. The discriminatory policies being adopted by the Central Government by showering favours liberally upon Muslims and Christians in the name of minorities, instead of serving the purported claim of empowering them, are fraught with the danger of dividing the society on communal lines.
The ABPS wishes to draw attention to the fact that all the other religious communities in our national society have to suffer and compete in an unequal environment as is the case of various loans where they have to cough up 12-14 % interest for education and 15-18 % for business while the so-called minorities get it at 3% interest.
It is unfortunate that even the education sector and students couldn’t escape from this communal and discriminatory politics. Controversial Sacchar Committee recommendations have been introduced in the NCERT syllabus for the students of Std. VIII thus poisoning their innocent minds with divisive ideas. The Kendriya Vidyalay Sanghatan has also fallen prey to this divisive policy. A recent change in its logo from sun and lotus to cross, crescent and star is a testimony to this perverted mindset. In Rajasthan, pre-matric scholarships are being provided to the minorities merely on the affidavit of the parent thus inducing conversions.
It is deplorable that the madarsas that do not fit into any formal educational system have been granted status equivalent of the CBSE institutions. Largesse of Rs. 2000 crores has been granted to the Aligarh Muslim University for opening regional centers at places like Bhopal, Pune, Kishangunj, Murshidabad and Malappuram. States where these centers are being opened are required to provide 500 acres of land free of cost.
Far more serious are the steps being undertaken to institutionalize reservations on religious basis. Government of Andhra Pradesh providing 4% reservations for Muslims and earmarking 12% out of the SC quota in Social Welfare Schools to converts thus depriving the SCs of their seats; government of Tamil Nadu giving 7% to Muslims and Christians – that too out of the quota for OBCs in educational institutions; provision by the West Bengal government to allocate 30% of the budget of each department and all surplus government land to Muslims – such incidents clearly betray this blatantly partisan approach.
In a classic case of competitive minoritysm the Government of Bihar has announced fee waiver to all the Muslim students of Std. X and XII in four districts i.e. Purnea, Araria, Katihar and Kishangunj while no such provision has been made for the general students of the flood-affected districts despite repeated pleas. Similarly the monetary gift of Rs. 10,000 being offered by that State to each Std. X pass-out from the minority community is another example of this appeasement policy. The Kerala Government’s decision to provide pension to madarasa teachers too falls into the same category.
The ABPS reiterates that preferential treatment to a section of our society on the basis of religion is against our Constitution. It is time that the fair-minded Muslims and Christians also should openly come forward to oppose these policies.
The ABPS demands that all reservations, concessions and privileges based exclusively on religion must be abolished. It urges the countrymen to make the society aware of the impending dangers of such policies and exert pressure on policy makers to abandon them.
Resolution No. 3
500th anniversory of Sri Krishnadevaraya’s Coronation
The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha considers the coronation of Sri Krishnadevaraya, the renowned emperor of the Vijayanagar Empire in 1510 CE as a defining moment in the history of Bharat.
The Vijayanagar Empire was founded in 1336 CE with the avowed objective of protecting Hindu Dharma and culture at a time when the very survial of these seemed to be threatened by the barbaric attack of the Muslim invaders. The founding of the empire was the fruit of the combined efforts of the spiritual powers of sage Vidyaranya and the valour of Harihara and Bukka Raya.
The empire earned a distinct place in world history for a number of reasons such as durable peace, economic prosperity, flourishing art, literature and architecture, international trade and diplomacy and harmonious and joyful social life. It is described by the historians, both within and outside the country, as a golden chapter in the history of Bharat and the unforgettable empire.
Sri Krishnadevaraya ascended the throne on Magha Shukla Chaturdashi in the year 1431 of Shalivahana Shaka coresponding to 24th January, 1510 CE. He was a brave warrior, a visionary statesman, a connoisseur of arts, a profound scholar and above all a benign ruler. He brought about far reaching administrative, judicial and agricultural reforms. The water management system designed during his time is hailed as the most scientific system. Under his rule the empire extended to the whole of Southern Bharat and rose to heights of glory.
If Sri Krishnadevaraya, who donned the title of Hinduraya Suratrana, exemplifies himself as an ideal Hindu king, Vijayanagar empire stands out as an example of an ideal Hindu State. It served as a permanent source of ispiration for all future efforts of Hindu consolidation.
The ABPS believes that celebrating the 500th anniversary of the coronation of emperor Krishnadevaraya will revive the memories of a golden phase in the history of our country and infuse pride and confidence in the minds of the people, the younger generation in particular. Hence, it appeals to the countryman to organise a variety of programmes with a view to throwing light upon the glory of the Vijayanagar Empire.
The ABPS appeals to the state and central governments:
1) To take immediate steps to remove all encroachments on the historical site of Hampi, which was the capital of Vijayanagar Empire.
2) To protect and preserve the sacred places and monuments on the site.
3) To develop the site, which is already declared as a world heritage site, in such a way as to bring back the inspiring memories of the empire and to give a true picture of the golden period of our history to national and foreign visitors and
4) To bring out a commemorative stamp to mark the occasion.

Hindus are not safe in Naveen’s Orisas, alleges VHP
BHUBANESWAR:(visakeo) The Viswa Hindu Parishad on Thursday came down heavily on Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his failure to protect tribal Hindus in Kandhamal and elsewhere, who are under threat from Church paid goons. VHP State secretary GP Rath while reacting to the brutal murder of Pravat Panigrahi, local RSS worker in the tribal dominated district, alleged that the Hindus are not feeling safe in the State as the Chief Minister and Church joined hands to humiliate them. “Panigrahi’s murder was a handiwork of Church sponsored militants not the work of leftwing wing ultras,” an angry Rath pointed out adding the arrested persons in connection with Swamiji murder case, were all Christians. After Swamiji, they killed Birupakhya Majhi of Simanbadi, Raghab Diggal of Sishapanga, Gayadhar Diggal of Kashnipadar, Sanyashi Majhi of Mundiguda and Dhanu Pradhan of Jhinjirguda have been killed by the Church sponsored killers but no action taken against them, Rath added. Rath blamed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Twin cities Archbishop Raphael Chinnath for the brutal murder of Panigrahi. “We blamed Naveen and Church for the killing as few BJD leaders have an understanding with the Christian Militants to spread mayhem in Kandhamal,” he added. The recent development points that the BJD and Church are in fix to humiliate tribal Hindus, he added. “Naveen inducted Church leader Swarupananda Patra into BJD and got praise from the Archbishop for breaking alliance with BJP. So, we are now convinced that, they are in fix,” Rath said.

Church sponsored gun men kills RSS worker
By VISAKEO Correspondent
BHUBANESWAR: Church sponsored militants with the support of Naveen Patnaik have shot dead Pravat Panigrahi, a RSS worker in Kandhamal district. The Church paid goons fired at Panigrahi at Rudigaon village and fled from the spot as police did not take active steps to nab them. Panigrahi hails from Bandapipili village, was in the hit list of the alleged Church sponsored ultras.
The killer however blocked the road between Kotagada and Rudiguma by felling trees, which took more time for the police to reach the spot after clearing the road, sources added. Panigrahi, preferred to stay at a different place instead of his house as he feared danger to his life.
The youth was the second RSS Swayamsevak after 33-year-old Dhanu Pradhan to be killed in the ongoing ethno-communal riot. Pradhan was killed on 5 November, 2008, while Swami Laxamananda Saraswati was gunned down on 23 August, 2008. With killing of Panigrahi, the death toll in the Kandhamal violence had touched 44.
It may be noted here that the victim was one among those arrested in connection with last year communal flare up following the brutal murder of Hindu Seer. Panigrahi was released from Baliguda jail on bail on March 14.
The incident has sent a shock wave among RSS workers in the riot hit district. Senior RSS and VHP leaders here have alleged that the killers were not Maoists but paid goons of Church. “This was an act of Church to demoralize tribal Hindus in Kandhamal,” Hindu Jagaran Samukhya State chief Ashok Sahu added. VHP State General secretary GP Rath also blamed the Church for the killing.

Congress hand suspected behind BJD-BJP split: Sushma Swaraj
Congress hand suspected behind BJD-BJP split: Sushma Swaraj
Bhubaneswar, Mar 16 : Giving a new twist to the collapse of BJD-BJP alliance in Orissa, BJP today said it suspected a Congress role in effecting the break.
"Yes I do see a Congress hand behind it (breaking BJD-BJP alliance). They might have played a role," BJP leader Sushma Swaraj told reporters after launching the party's poll campaign at a rally here.
"It is proved by the fact that Naveen Patnaik-led BJD is now entering into alliances with UPA partners like NCP and JMM," she said, adding the Third Front was only a channel to finally join hands with Congress.
Rejecting the Third Front as a "non-starter", Swaraj said its shape was "unclear" while the question of leadership also remained "hazy".
She said UPA stood "Unlimited Prime Ministers' Alliance" in view of so many aspirants for the top post.
"On the other hand, BJP stalwart L K Advani happens to be the only prime ministerial candidate of NDA and his candidature has been endorsed by other partners," she said.
Swaraj dismissed the question of differences between BJP president Rajnath Singh and party poll strategist Arun Jaitley.

Naveen's BJD emerged 'B' team of Congress: BJP
Bhubaneswar, Mar 16 : Dubbing its former ally BJD as the "B team of Congress", BJP today accused Naveen Patnaik of joining hands with the UPA partners like NCP and JMM.
"The people of Orissa will certainly punish Naveen Patnaik for betraying their trust," senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said and alleged that he had violated the "coalition dharma" on March 7 by "forcing" BJP to withdraw its support.
Swaraj also hold Patnaik responsible for breaking of the decade-old alliance between the BJD and the BJP.
Alleging that Patnaik had indirectly established contact with the UPA, she said, "Naveenji forgot that he was installed as the Chief Minister twice in a row on the basis of the strength of the alliance and I wonder why he should seek help of UPA partners if he is popular on his own."

THE TRUTHS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE YOU VOTE
YOU HAVE A DUTY TODAY –
to throw this UPA Govt. out-lock, stock and barrel: Hindu Voice, Mumbai.
...If you want your children to live in a strong, united and cohesive India, in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance and pluralism....
THE TRUTHS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE YOU VOTE
The Facts:
1. 200 years ago Hindus in Kandahar (Afghanistan) were observing the Santhan Dharma by performing Pooja and signing Bhajans and Kirtans. Today there is no one….
2. 100 years ago, Hindus in Lahore and Karachi (which derives their name from Lav and Kush, the sons of Sri Ram)…
3. 50 years ago, Hindus in Srinagar (Kashmir) too were observing the Sanathan Dharma….
Considering the above historical facts, 50 years from now, will you (or your son / daughter or grand son / grand daughter) be able to perform Pooja and sign Bhanjans and Kirtans? Will our country remain democratic and secular? Will your children have the freedom of thought and expression? Logic says ‘NO’. Social demography also confirms this. Symptoms too point out towards that stark eventuality.
Is this the legacy you want to leave behind for your sons and daughter? If not, wake up from your deep slumber and face the challenge…
Today our country -- Bharat -- is seized by six Yamahs (6 Ms) – Mullahs, Missionaries, Marxists, Mecaulayists, Media and Maino…
A brief description of the 6Ms syndrome is as under:
Mullahs....
Missionaries....
Marxists....
Media....
Mecaulayists....
Maino....
Who is this Maino? Yes it is Antonia Maino, a Roman Catholic Christian, born in Italy, rechristened as Sonia Gandhi…
We drove away Britishers who ruled over us for nearly 200 years and got independence in1947. Is there any logic in bringing in another foreigner to rule us?
The Prologue:
Under the UPA Government, both the minorities – i.e. Muslim and Christians – have become the first class citizen…
Terrorists are having a field day…
Sincere and Honest Police Officer are targeted. Security Personnel who kill terrorists during encounter are being framed….
The belief of Hindus in Ram Sethu is questioned by the secularists as well as the UPA Govt…
Himalayan efforts are made to break Ram Sethu. Affidavits are filed in the Supreme Court that Sri Ram has nothing to do with Hinduism and Ram Sethu is not sacred. But special efforts are made to save a small masjid….
An obliging UPA Govt. has asked Hindus not to use ‘Provocative’ slogans such as “Har Har Mahadev”, “Jai Shree Ram”, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, etc as they are considered threatening by Muslims. But the same government does not mind the war cry “Allah-oh-Akbar” and “Pakistan Jindabad”.
Temple funds are usurped by the Government. Many state governments are spending temple funds for renovation of Masjids and Churches…
A systematic effort is being made to ‘manufacture’ Hindu Terrorists. Hindu Sadhus and Sadhvis are being famed…
Islamic terrorists like Madhani, Mohamed Afzal, Sohrabbudin, Sahabuddin etc. are favoured.
The PM talks of “Hindu Fundamentalists”, but never say ‘Islamic Terrorism’?
According to a leading author, the National Integration Council held in Oct. 2008 resembled a working committee meeting of the Pre 1947 Muslim League. While his inference is apparent, the portent is dangerous.
It is a matter of great regret that India is the only country in the world where the Hindu majority (83%) population is being ruled by the other 17% minority communities. Look at the following facts…
Already, there is a cynical move to Christianize Bharat. The Bharat Mata emblem in the two rupee coin was replaced by a Cross…
Conclusion:
If you want your children to live in a strong, united and cohesive India, in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance and pluralism, YOU HAVE A DUTY TODAY – to throw this UPA Govt. out-lock, stock and barrel. …
Given above is only an extract at random. The entire matter is available in a booklet alerting Hindus of the danger of voting back the UPA government.
