Hindus are not safe in Naveen’s Orisas, alleges VHP

BHUBANESWAR:(visakeo) The Viswa Hindu Parishad on Thursday came down heavily on Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his failure to protect tribal Hindus in Kandhamal and elsewhere, who are under threat from Church paid goons. VHP State secretary GP Rath while reacting to the brutal murder of Pravat Panigrahi, local RSS worker in the tribal dominated district, alleged that the Hindus are not feeling safe in the State as the Chief Minister and Church joined hands to humiliate them. “Panigrahi’s murder was a handiwork of Church sponsored militants not the work of leftwing wing ultras,” an angry Rath pointed out adding the arrested persons in connection with Swamiji murder case, were all Christians. After Swamiji, they killed Birupakhya Majhi of Simanbadi, Raghab Diggal of Sishapanga, Gayadhar Diggal of Kashnipadar, Sanyashi Majhi of Mundiguda and Dhanu Pradhan of Jhinjirguda have been killed by the Church sponsored killers but no action taken against them, Rath added. Rath blamed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Twin cities Archbishop Raphael Chinnath for the brutal murder of Panigrahi. “We blamed Naveen and Church for the killing as few BJD leaders have an understanding with the Christian Militants to spread mayhem in Kandhamal,” he added. The recent development points that the BJD and Church are in fix to humiliate tribal Hindus, he added. “Naveen inducted Church leader Swarupananda Patra into BJD and got praise from the Archbishop for breaking alliance with BJP. So, we are now convinced that, they are in fix,” Rath said.
