RSS observes Hindu New Year
BHUBANESWAR: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Friday observed the Hindu Naba Barsa amid host of activities in the State through out the State. Swayamsevaks took out four root marches across the State Capital creating a feeling of nationalism and cultural integration of Mother India.
“The highness of Indian culture and tradition uniting all in the country having diverse beliefs,” RSS Orissa-West Bengal Khetriya Saririka Pramukha Ghanashyam Mohapatra said at a function held at Unit-6 Cultural Ground. Similar function and root marches were also held at Barmunda UP School ground, where city Saha Sanghachalak BN Sahu, Gunanidhi Behera, KK Ray and RN Nanda were among those present. At Saileshree Vihar FR Colony, RSS national executive member Madhu Bahi Kulkarni attended while a similar function also held at Sundarpada.
