Naveen shielding Swamiji’s killers, lambasted Singhal

Bhubaneswar: (Visakeo)Viswa Hindu Parishad International president Ashok Singhal on Sunday alleged that the Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is shielding the killers and conspirators of Swami Laxmananda Saraswati.

Addressing a State convention of Dharma Jagaran Manch here in the premises of Unit-8 Saraswati Sishu Mandir, Singhal asserted that Indian culture is under attack with infiltration from across the country's borders crossing. Calling India a spiritual nation, he said it was due to its combination of religion and culture that the country was known all over the world.

The senior VHP leader further alleged that due to huge funds from western countries, conversion activities have been on rampant from Kandhamal to Tripura. He questioned the studied silence made by the Orissa Chief Minister on conversion.

He also said that efforts would be made to create awareness to elect a Government, which could protect Hindus and construct Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He urged to work out the 11 point programee of the DJS. Jain Sadhvi Stiti Praganji, Bhanteji of Budhha Mandir, Leena of Prajapati Brahama Kumari, Pradeep Banaspati of Gayatri Pariwar, Satyabrata Arya of Arya Samaj, Siba Chidanandaji of Dibya Jeevan Sangh, Bhagaban Dasji Maharaj, Swami Jeevan Chaitnya Maharaj, Swami Arupanandaji Maharaj, Swami Brahamanandaji Maharaj, Nityananda Dasji Maharaj, Arya Mahasabha general secretary Swami Paramanandaji Maharaj, Swami Hansdasji Maharaj, VHP State general secretary GP Rath and Harihar Das were among those present.
